I shared your series of videos re: working in different settings to two new therapists! I think it’s so important that this new generation of therapists is empowered with all the information to make their own informed decisions about the field. 😃

Thank you for sharing them!! I set out to make this channel and these episodes because I wish I had this information when I was starting out, so I'm happy to support and share resources with others :) I appreciate you taking the same approach!

I just recently joined a group private practice as a pre licensed therapist and your videos have been so helpful. Thank you 💛 do you have videos on marketing? I’m curious about how group private practices market for their pre licensed 1099 therapists and if there is anything I should be doing while I wait for clients and referrals to trickle in!

Hi! I’m so glad they’ve been helpful to you 😊 If you’re a 1099 at a group practice, they aren’t required to market for you and you may be responsible for that. Some group practices will pay for (or encourage you to pay for) a psychology today profile. If you have a reduced rate for therapy services, I’d recommend having a profile on open path collective as well! I have a video on networking that may be helpful too since referrals tend to come from colleagues (especially if you have a niche!). I’d also join local and state wide therapist Facebook groups. I constantly see therapists posting for referrals there!
