I built my websites with Gutenberg just as blocks became available last year, with no site builder and a simple theme. Very little CSS. It took some maneuvering but I was fine with it. Now I’m excited to consolidate and redesign with the newest tools. Can’t wait until I can ditch the theme, too, and have it all work as one deal. Thanks for the video, I just subscribed. (I’m 65 y.o., been working on computers since the early 80s, learned coding and did print production graphics since the late 80s, started using WordPress for blogging and designed websites in the 00s. The advances now are great, loving it!)

Thanks for this Matt, I never thought of Gutenberg as "slick" until now. ;)

It would be great to see templates that don't require a plugin. That would be lean, fast and resist plugin viruses and phishing. I'm a minimalist when it comes to wp plugins. You should compile a list if possible. A video too. Lots of views!

Thank you so much for this this tip with gutenberg hub site, it has fresh nice beautiful templates and sections- thumbs up! Can you save your custom css code (and theme settings) when doing wordpress backups? I see to insert the pattern/block you must use the code editor in wordpress, save, then back to the visual editor.

Great video - its seems like the copy css has been removed front the site. Ofcorse could be its because of bosting the actual use of their plugin wich would make sence.

Thanks a lot for sharing this video and efforts that you made and I wish if you could show us how to create custom Single Product Page with Kadence Theme block Editor since that will help us a lot.
Again thanks a lot for your guidance and an excellent explanation.

3 years later but still usefull. Strange because i can only paste into code editor with gutenberg, if i paste code directly i can only see code when viewing the page. Did they change something?

You most likely need to use the code block to display it.
