I've built a few hundred sites with the Divi theme and I was putting off learning Gutenberg. After watching this, I'm now comfortable with blocks. Thank you!

Excellent. A current columns tutorial would be great if your still doing them.

I am not seeing the Pricing Table Blocks you mention at 16:48. I am not seeing any external blocks available. Has that changed in WordPress 5.5.2? If so, where are they now?

It looks like the pricing table block is no longer available through the Gutenberg Block search interface. I suspect that has something to do with the fact that the block in question actually installed multiple blocks. The block search function is only supposed to install single blocks, but some multi-block downloads slipped through in the early days. And yes, the block directory should be working as demonstrated in this video, but finding additional blocks is a process of trial and error (it's a terrible user experience, to be honest). Try searching for "countdown" and you should find a timer. Good luck finding anything else through that search interface. I suspect most users will continue to install block add-ons using the standard Plugin screen.

is this a plugin I need to install in order to see the block icon?

No, it's the standard Gutenberg that's built into WordPress. But you won't see it if you've got the Classic Editor plugin installed.
