Ever since my grandma Dorothy love the show so much I realized that this will be a perfect memory to her because this is her latest good show I can think of this was taken by the latest 80's
Anyone remember when this would air on Sunday nights at 8 right after 60 Minutes? It was such a perfect timeslot. It just was a Sunday night show and the fact that they moved It to Thursdays in season 12 was criminal
I remember! And When I was 5 or 6 I would watch it with my grandparents but I didn't know the name of the show. All I could remember was "continue" as in "Murder She Wrote will continue after these messages". So I would say I wanted to watch "continue". Took everyone months to figure out wtf I was talking about lol.
@Adrienne M lol I think everyone watched it with their grandparents or their parents. I think Murder, she wrote's biggest fanbase is the 6-26 age range than actual senior citizens lol
I have never watched an episode of this series, as I was a kid when it was on, and wasn't interested. Somehow, the theme song is burnt into my head. I only had one channel (well, technically 3, but the other two had terrible reception). So I guessed I use the time the theme song want playing to find a movie or video game to play.
I couldn't help but to buy the complete series of this successful series
Rest Easy

And their competition on Thursdays (which ultimately killed Murder, She Wrote)? *FRIENDS!!!!!!!*
@@johnnyballenatl Such overrated show Friends. I outgrew it decades ago. Murder, She Wrote however? Timeless classic.
Angela really objected to having her show moved from Sunday nights. Of course CBS thought they knew better.
R.I.P Dame Angela Lansbury a true legend and a remarkable and beautiful lady
Rip dame Angela Lansbury.
Love it!!!
RIP Angela Lansbury
Maybe if she sat closer to the computer screen she wouldn't have to type with her font at 600pts
Strange that they decided to re-record the theme music. Personally I think the older performance had more life in it.
It is a murderer show. Why would they want more life in their theme song?
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations * *LOL* * ! ! ! ;D
Yes. That episode was called "Night Of The Coyote" Season 9 Episode 6.
@Charles reddo That clip is from the episode "The Wind Around The Tower" Season 9 Episode 4. The episode was set in Ireland.
Yes. Its called "Big Easy Murder" Season 12 Episode 4. It was filmed during Season 11 but not aired until Season 12.
I had always hoped the show would end with it being revealed Jessica Fletcher was a brilliant serial killer.
Lol best crime fighter
anyone know what episode it is where Jessica finds her lost pen (I think?) and can be seen giving it a kiss when she finds it in the intro?

Which episode was it when you see her leaving the flower shop?
@R. D. That clip was filmed at Universal Studios and it wasn't in an episode it was filmed specially for the opening credits.
