Love the home theater videos! I'm selling my house and already dreaming of the setup I will have in the next place. Plan to go way over the top with the next home theater!
you can use rubber butyl like Dynamat or knoNoise Neo to deaden those panels. You can also swap the fans IF they are loud with silent fans like the Nuactua
Interesting choice for pre pro, not many reviews for that product, so looking forward to hearing your impressions!! In a prior video you mentioned the HTP-1, curious why you changed direction?
Major bugs, issues, bricked units. Not even close to reliable or stable for me yet. I’m not interested in being a beta tester, I want to turn it on and it works.
@@COGuyStuff totally agree. Assuming you feel the same way about the AVM70 and 90? Sounds like you’re partial to Dirac, or at least giving it a try? ARC seems to have a comparable suited and the AVM90 is priced similarly to the SDP, both of which have premium DAC’s. The Anthem uses AKM DAC’s, doesn’t mean it’ll have a Denon/Marantz sound signature, but it could - I’m not sure? As far as things “just working” - I recently re-fell in love with my Marantz AV8805. Bought last year and haven’t had one single issue. In fact, I keep discovering things that I love about it. For example, the OSD changes color defending what vid signal is passed thru (yellow for 1080p/4K upscale, orange for HDR, green for Dolby Vision); and I also love how seamless the zoning/source selection is. Your housecurve video also got me inspired to tool around with the Audyssey app. It catches a lot of flak, but it’s not that bad. The optionality does bring it slightly closer to Dirac, but still far removed. Maybe consider the Marantz 8805A flagship that “just works” flawlessly, and save some $$??? Although I can’t wait to hear about your SDP experience because no one has published anything yet!!! Enjoy, and thanks for the reply.
None of the non-advanced units have issues, but I'm only interested in the upper tier room correction now. Yes, partial to Dirac for the impulse response.
Question…which amp assign did you use on your Yamaha 3080 with your monolith 7x? I ordered the same one and was curious which one I would use if I were to power my 7 bed later speakers with the monolith and my 4 atmos with my Yamaha 3050. I’m hoping I do t run into an issue as the amp assigns that are available don’t show the layout I want. Thanks for any info. Great videos.
amazing, my comment got deleted...Weird...I was just saying to use that rubber butyl sound-deadening foil backed KnoNoise and a strip of rubber for the edges, and the silent fans you got are great or can use the Nactua fans. Great video!
Yeah ok tell me your subwoofers aren't going to resonate that tin can your putting your equipment in .it's your story tell it the way you want to.. I am sorry I apologize for making a suggestion it won't happen again.
I mean, if you can't hear it, then it's not a problem. He's gonna test first, fix later. You don't need to add sound dampening mats to something if there's no problem.

No need. The panels are quiet. All I had to do stop the metal to metal contact.
Looking forward to the next video.
But what's this Tool Obsession channel you mentioned for the cam stuff? I'm confused.
Two wheel
Oh, lol, that makes more sense.
JBL not JVC as stated. I'm excited for what is yet to come with the JBL, monoprice amp for all channels, and Dirac live.
Doh yep lol

@@COGuyStuff my buddies HTP-1 bricked and they can’t replace it for 3 plus months. They gave him a full refund and he ordered the JBL.
Yeah lots of horror stories right now on the forums.

I used a 3 channel not 7. Lcr only

Great video!
It’s you. It’s still right here. And again, no need. It’s solved, as shown.
I want a JVC processor 😍😂😉
Changed my mind, going with the Sounddesign :)
What shade of tint did you use
I didn't even look at the number, I went to the shop and just picked by eye
Dynamat all that tin that's what is for sound deadening.
I have no idea why you guys are trying to fix a non existent problem.
Yeah ok tell me your subwoofers aren't going to resonate that tin can your putting your equipment in .it's your story tell it the way you want to.. I am sorry I apologize for making a suggestion it won't happen again.
Lol so much but hurt for nothing

Exxxxactly.
