Black Hills SD Vlog Aug 5 2024

Our 2024 Summer-Fall travel began with a first stop in the Black Hills of South Dakota. On our first day, we started in Custer State Park where we drove the Needles Highway and hiked around Sylvan Lake. In the evening, we visited in Mt. Rushmore National Monument where we hiked the Presidential Trail and watched the evening light show. Early the next morning, we hiked the Cathedral Spires Trail and spent the later hour of the day in the Crazy Horse Memorial. On our last day in the region, we returned to Custer State Park, this time drove the Wildlife Loop.
