U should have told us the burners are free for this. It is very important because I was ready to buy 3 of them from Amazon for $30 a piece, something told me to call them first, and to my surprise they said free with lifetime guarantee and I didn’t have to buy them, that phone call saved me $98
Great video showing how you check the burners. Since I have to replace my emitters, I just did similarly. Luckily only my emitters needed to be replaced.
I noticed when I received my new burners from Carbroil there were no screws on the bottom of the burners. The old burners have screws. So I had to call Char Broil and order them. All the videos I see they don't mention this. Still waiting
If my spots like you first showing are flaming like that and even causing the front cotter pins to glow, but it’s a NEW Charbroil grill, so obvious no rust etc, what would you recommend?
Hey Mary…, That is odd. When I’ve put in new burners , that seems to be the cure for mine. I’m just not sure. Maybe contact Charbroil customer support? Thx for watching.
The transfer plates are not needed in his case, as he is lighting the burners each by hand. If he were to repair the ignighter, then he would need those plates, as they transfer the ignited flame across to each burner.
I did mine the easy way, went on the Char-Broil web site, and by using my grill model number ordered exact replacement parts, no alterations necessary, silly me.😆😅🤣😂

Did you have to provide a proof of purchase of the grill? Or just called and said hey I need burners and they sent them?
Screws from old burners can be used for new burners in holes provided for securing cross over tubes.
The igniter might work if you replace the battery.
Thank you this was so helpful I just fixed my little old charbroiil gas grill myself!!
They Carole…,
Fantastic! Enjoy your diy success!

If you know your model number you can purchase burners directly from Char-Broil. Less than $17 for 4.
The side burner on mine has always burned too high. What can I do for it?
Excellent! Thank you. I've noticed that my has started having difficulties staying lit. I'm on year 3 with mine. Is that normal?
Hey Tony,
Sounds like flow of gas is compromised. Not normal in our experience.
Thx for watching.

Are the transfer plates necessary? It looked like the replacement burners were working well without them.
Hey Murphy,
Hard to say - I’m guessing they were made for a reason. So far so good though!
Thx for watching!

Where is the model # / serial # of the grill so I can make sure I am getting the correct parts?
View from back side of the grill, it’s basically behind the gas knobs on mine.
Dude great job but this is how you make sure it is hazardous.

More like replacing parts because you’re not actually fixing anything .
isn't that what a mechanic does when you get your car fixed? He replaces the broken part and your problem is fixed.
My guy didn’t start the grill. How do we know this works? 😅😅😅
Hey @deriktutt ,
Guess he was confident in the fix. Try and see!
