    We've used this griddler for a variety of items including steak, fish, vegetables ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMcXT6_MuT0hB3ejyGQQHaeof9bwoWPUf and mushrooms and it's been great! Gets that great smokey flavor when using high heat or sear. The grill works amazingly simple and very low smoke for what it is. Heat gets up fairly quick, especially on closed position. The griddler side is fairly simple, better for eggs and pancakes rather than any cooking. Use the flat plates with the grill side if needed.Cleanup is easy and having heat on both sides is great for cooking a large amount or panini press.This definitely gets hot though so be careful with the sides.

    Great tutorial!
    In the case of my Adventure Ready 17" griddle/ fryer, it uses an H shaped burner for the griddle and a circular burner for the fryer side. The burners were bolted to the back wall... not screwed. And in my case, difficult to get behind. So, it was easier to remove the front panel with manifold intact. Looked in the tubes, and spiders had spun dense webs in the front of the tubes. Twisting a Fuzzy Pipe Cleaner into tube, got them out without pushing them further in. Reassembled and blue flame cooking again! I've never used the deep fryer tub, I usually put my cast iron skillet on it or make my dipping sauces/rice/noodles/etc on it.
    Thanks for the upload.👍

    When you are starting a screw, or any other threaded fastener, if you turn it backward till you feel a click, then turn it in, the threads will line up and not get cross threaded or cut new threads.
    When the bottom of my 22" griddle started to get rust on it, I wire brushed it and then coated it with oil so it has a layer of seasoning too.

    I have a 36 inch 4 burner griddle. The left side of the griddle burns nice and hot, but the right side doesn’t even get hot enough to properly season the griddle. What would cause this? All 4 burners have a blue flame. Doesn’t make sense to me. Thanks for the video.

    My 36 is brand new so I don't quite have that problem yet but when I do thank you very much for the info now I know how to do it myself I do have one question though you said that tool was from a 12 gauge gun cleaning kit if you do not have a gun which I don't what can you use in place of that would a pipe cleaner work

    • @GriddleDude
      @GriddleDude  2 года назад +1

      I doubt a pipe cleaner would work. There are times you have to get all the way into the burner. If you don't have a need for a full kit, they do sell this kit for just tge size you need. amzn.to/3p0bSnW

    good luck fixing this with the 'H' shaped burners on the 2 burner griddle. i tried to remove them so i could at least blow them out with the compressor or pressure washer and i feel like i'm going to break it. seems like they are crimped together

      @dslife1 I contacted blackstone and they sent me a new regulator and that helped then I went on amazon and bought those wind blockers and put yhem all the way around.

      @@dslife1 Try opening your valve slower. The side closest to the tank will naturally be hotter but if your grill isn’t heating evenly there is a blockage or you are opening up your valve too fast and the regulator is in safety mode
