- This unit fits Toyota Camry/Aurion(2006-2011) and is installed in my 2008 Toyota Camry SE. It replaces your stock unit and fits perfectly, looks great and runs even better than anything you could have gotten from the dealer. If you watch the full video I included an almost 100% review with the exception of the I-Pod options.
The way to know for sure if you have premium sound is if you have the JBL logo anywhere on your stock unit and you should have an amp under the passenger seat.

All of these units will accept Garmin (says in their descriptions) and you should have no issues installing my GPS setup. :)

Hi Benjamin. I have a 2011 camry with jbl. Will i need the extra piece for the steering wheel control or will the steering wheel controls work with only the "scosche ta07sr replacement interface"?
Also, the link of the double din that you attached looks different than yours. I would prefer to have the one that is like yours. The one that comes up when I click the link doesn't have the four buttons on each side and the two slots for the sd & gps cards.

Hello, I would love to purchase this unit it looks amazing but I have one very important question before I place an order. I just bought a 2011 Toyota Camry LE that is equipped with the standard AM/FM Radio it did not come with a navigation/DVD or any type of screen, just the basic radio unit. MY QUESTION IS IF I PURCHASE THIS NAVIGATION UNIT FROM LIGHT IN THE BOX WOULD IT FIT IN MY CAMRY LE?? considering that it did not come with the screen initially. also would the color of this unit match the interior of my car?? thank you in advance your time and help

Feiyang Xue Glad you liked the video Feiyang, This unit really can do just about anything you want it to. :) This version will never have the live traffic feature because it it no longer getting any support from Garmin and I tried to call them about it and they told me that this program was "digital trash" to them. :( I even told them i got it working on this unit and they said "good for you," lol... If your car does not have JBL like mine, you should not need the extra parts, from what I have seen, it should be plug and play. :) ~Ben~
Hello Benjamin, I have a 2007 Toyota Camry LE. My Stock radio blew out because of water damage. I'm debating weather I should buy a Pioneer Radio or one of these after market radios off of EBay. What would you suggest? And can you still use the steering wheel buttons on these after market radios??

Hi Mr. Benjamin, I'm really happy you have all your original controls working. I was hesitant on purchasing a navi radio on my 09 se jbl w/o nav, but it seems you have answered many of my concerns. I just want a good deck, but don't want to sacrifice steering wheel volume controls, or Bluetooth controls. You mentioned a module to add these, how is this done, and again thanks for your review

I have this system installed to my Camry 2011, it's work good for a year every time weather get cold DVD car is stop working right, some time i turn it off but it turn back on itself, and now still problem sometime touch screen is moving and touch itself.

Hey I have a 2007 camry and I just recently installed this unit but I realized my original aux input is not working anymore. Also I'm not able to pick up 1010am either. Also my bluetooth is connected to make calls but it's not streaming music from it. Any tips?

I am looking for a replacement for my 2005 Camry/Solara and would like a garmin interface rather than some of the other (navi, igo, etc), have simple volume and channel controls on steering wheel and must have a backup camera. Do I just buy the Garmin maps for this unit, or is it already there?
In all honesty, this unit and the Garmin maps I have are more than out dated... I would recommend an Android powered unit and using the Waze app on there for navigation... Just make sure you have a wifi capable unit and a hotspot setup on your smartphone or a Verizon Jet Pack for the Best experience. 😎 When this unit finally dies or I decide to upgrade again, that's what I'm going to do next. 👍

Does this item require a Universal Steering Wheel Control Interface for all the steering wheel controls to function (such as Metra Axxess ASWC-1)?
It's for a 2007 Camry hybrid that also has a JBL amplifier (I've already ordered the amplifier interface JBL TA07sr).

Aaron Roth Yes it does, if you have JBL, you need the extra part to get it to work right. I need to order mine one of these days, lol... It hasn't been enough of a bother for me yet, but I will do it later this year. :)

I have heard from a few of my other customers that got it working, so I'm not at all concerned about getting it working myself... :)

Hi Chris, I know you can run additional LCDs from this unit, but I'm not 100% on the independently part of it. You might want to send a message to light in the box and see what they say about that. (let us know what you find out) These units can do quite a bit already, so if I was going to bet on it, I might say yes, haha. :)
Thank you for the review. I have the same unite but I'm having problems with the sound.I got it professionally installed but the system supports 4 speakers only. The 2 speakers on the dash don't work and the sound sounds bad with only 4 speakers.

Okay brought the same unit for my 2010 Toyota Camry le 2.5 everything Is plug n play except for 3 wires I do not know what to connect to.. First wire is labeled "back", second is labeled "brake", and the last one is labeled "cca 12v"? Can you explain to me were I have to connect these to?
Also I have a back up camera how do I get my head unit to switch to camera mode when on reverse?
Also I got a cheap gps map install but I would like to switch it to garmin looks better and easier to work with..
TheCheco95 Hi, I don't know what to tell you about the 3 wires, I had my unit installed professionally and always recommend that everyone do the same. These unites are great if the installation comes with a warranty, lol...
For the back up camera, you will need to access the settings menu and there is a place somewhere in there to do that. I also need to get the back up camera and when I finally decide to do that, I will be posting a video of the setup etc.
For the Garmin, just send me your email and we can go from there. My setup is easy and I offer a few choices of delivery method. :)

Can you tell me if your orignal radio had 2 FM adapters (big white and little blue)? The radio came with a adapter but one side has a white clip. i dont know where to install the clip.

Yani Park Thank you, I did my best to say all there is to say about these unites. I sell a ready to go SD card with the Garmin setup on it and I have detailed videos on getting it set up once you have the card. There are quite a few options out there for GPS, but I Love my Garmin. :)

Ashley Ta Some of the systems out there come with their own GPS program, but you will never find one like mine, so I would say it's separate for sure. :)

Franklin Hollins If you read my description, you will find a few links that will take you to where I know you can buy my exact unit and others just like it that will also work with my Garmin setup. All of these units can support a back-up camera, and some of them i think even come with one, but my unit did not and I have not hooked one up yet. :)

From what I have been able to find out, this unit needs an antenna to utilize those features, but if you read the specs on it, it does not say it can do that, even though the options are there in the settings menu... I honestly have not really messed with these features yet, but when I take apart my dash again to hook up my tablet etc, I will look into this a little more. Another thing you might try is to send Light In The Box a message about it and see what they have to say. Let me know too. :)

Hi Brandon, I don't think it's laggy at all and the touch screen is only as accurate as you make it when you set it up. I took my time doing that and have never had a problem with it. :)

abod shiralian It sounds like you got a lemon and should try to get a replacement or a refund... My unit is running just as well as it did the moment I had it installed and no issues as of yet. If you want to get an android unit, I would Highly recommend installing a removable Android 3G or 4G Tablet and using the Waze app for navigation. I am finding myself using it more and more on my Note 3 these days because of the "Live Map" and a slew of other cool live features. It may be a bit on the "pricy" side, but if this unit ever fails me, that is my next move and I think you will be a lot more happy with that setup in the long haul... :)

Lol, that's totally up to you and your bank account. :) I personally enjoy this unit and it does everything I want or need it do, so unless you need something this unit does not offer, don't waist your money.... :)

Wow, do you have premium sound or stock sound? I have premium and all my speakers are working just fine, I think my audio guy hooked up the two fronts to a single lead tho, but it's ok, they work. You may want to ask the people who did your install if they can do that for you. Let me know how it works out. :)

Additionally, I might recommend an Android unit over a windows powered one. mine is still doing great, but if it ever dies, I'm getting an Android powered unit. 👍
I Cant decide to go with this or the eonon gm series, that has miracast support, but no wifi/3g support. wheras this has,

No, you will need an aftermarket one.

Hi Nam, lol, if you have a JBL deck in your car right now (premium sound) you will need the harness for both. If you have stock sound, it should be plug-n-play.

I haven't done it yet, but I will be upgrading my maps later this year.
The bottom most link in the description has both the steering wheel control interface and Premium JBL harness together. I should have bought this one first, but was uniformed when I made the original purchase of just the JBL harness... Save time and money by getting this set and not buying everything separately like I'm having to do now. :)
