Jeff Nippard Having huge problems with my shoulders and it’s effecting my lifts. Have been working my rotator cuffs and have been practicing shoulder mobility. Have u got any tips to help me overcome shoulder pain. Also I know a lot of people who struggle with this so have thought it would make a good video
Hey I love your videos! I'm having a strange issue with deadlifts- my ribs feel like they are popping into my abs while doing deadlifts- even with a belt on... I've tried different postures as well :/ please help thanks!!
Thank you so much for all the hard work you put in Jeff. This channel is a fountain of knowledge and you help me and hundreds of thousands others to stay improving❤️
This video has actually helped me improve my friends deadlift form because I couldn’t tell the reason why his deadlift looked so awkward. But after watching the video I can see he was constantly lowering his hips. Thanks for making this vid Jeff!
I've just started implementing deadlifts and these videos helped understand correct form. I'm grateful of the internet age and quality content providers educating the general public.
Never commented before. Just wanted to say thank you for your videos. The advice you give, and the way you present it, is nothing less than invaluable. I'm just making my way back from a herniation of the L4 disc(11 weeks), and deadlifts are going well. Gotta swallow my pride doing half of what I was doing pre injury, but I'm getting there. Your instruction helps a lot.
Jeff is making the most casual day of the week a highpoint for me. Nothing like having a killer workout, finishing meal prep then watching technique Tuesday before bedtime.
Maybe the best technique video I've ever seen. Searched for a deadlift error fixing video, found this one first and it already helped me a lot. Great video, Jeff!
Awesome, I asked for this on the last video. Thanks Jeff! My lifts have shown so much improvement and your videos have had a tremendous impact on that. Love your channel and appreciate all your hard work.
I love Technique Tuesday so much! Constantly correcting form is so important and I use these to double check what I'm doing and take recommendations to fix minor (or possibly major) errors. I always want to make sure my form is basically perfect before I even think about upping weight so I don't hurt myself and I get the most out of the exercise. Thank you so much for these videos!
Hey Jeff, great video. I notice one of the things that happened with me was that my upper back started rounding and then my lower back followed. I didnt have the muscular control to maintain thoracic rounding without the low back following. Pendlay rows helped me out with this. I created a video like this about the top 3 deadlift mistakes I see. We had one common mistake but a few different mistakes that we see. Anyway, I’m a huge fan, great vid.
Love that you hit rounding of the back first. A little upper back is going to be natural on heavy lifts. But gotta try to keep the lower back locked in
Great breakdown. Performing the exercises wrong to show everyone what not to do is great. I can click the video and not have a clue about the exercise and minutes later i have a full understanding like i just took a college course on it.
@@corynorell3686 bruh you're fucking stupid. He's meaning as you're doing the movement all your muscles pop out and give you a pumped look. Looks like you're not doing it right and going heavy enough to see that.
Been watching your videos lately, good stuff. Also wanna give you a shoutout for how much you put in to good lighting, color correcting, and making a video that's pleasing on the eyes, as well as informative. Great quality 🤓
I commented asking for a hip thrust tutorial but you've already made one! My memory is garbage. Great series, excited for the dips episode! Thanks Jeff
Hey Jeff, I really like the technique tuesday videos! The deadlift serries is really helpfull, I've been struggeling with my deadlift form for over a year! Keep making those really good informational videos!!!
The hip lift might be my problem wow thanks Man. My back is very straight no rounding but I definitely dropped my hips too low and it hurt my back a few times, this explained why
6:08 Bro Jeff poses for the camera saying, "Dude I'm so jacked I can take a heavy Deadlift into a shrug and still have energy to give the camera some love." King Kong ain't got $h!t on me, indeed (reference to a previous video there. A joke clip from a movie. I'm aware that casual swearing is crass.) Great video as always Jeff. Bought one of your programs to show support and look forward to trying it out when I'm finished my current block of training.
Experiment with the lift and breathing. Stuff legged can be good as an accessory but at least for me I would still deadlift once a week for 1 or 2 sets (depending on your strength which can affect recovery the heavier you go) for a systematic response in strength
*you aren't driving with your legs* deadlift isn't really a back excercise like people think it is. You drive with your legs and hinge at the hips. You don't pull with your back. If you do them properly, you shouldn't get DOMS or aching or pain, whatever you want to call it, in your lower back.
One thing I'd add to the list is looking in a mirror that's in front of you while deadlifting. I used to do that and always got terrible pain behind my neck. If you wanna check your form it's overall better to have the mirror to your side rather than in front.
You should do some videos on how to deal with injuries and injury prevention. It's a pretty broad topic that I feel gets overlooked by many. All those aches and pains just become part of lifting for some people and it's not healthy in regards to longevity and quality of life.
Love the channel full off loads off helpfull and useful information thanknyou keep up the good work also will you be coming to the UK arnold classic 2021 ?
Hope you guys enjoyed the deadlift mini-series! Dips next week!!

Jeff Nippard Secret message: “No one sees this”.... I guess I’m no one
Yes!!! Dips are definitely a weak point for me so looking forward to that
1. Lower back rounding [ 0:29 ]
2. Hips lifting too early [ 3:40 ]
3. None vertical shins [ 4:44 ]
4. Over extending on lockout [ 5:40 ]
Thanks man

All of your "bro" faces in each of these episodes are hilarious
A lil bit like a nerd trying to be "the funny guy", isn't it?

I see.. I think I kinda agree with the 2nd mistake. Thanks a lot for the information
Helpful and concise. I appreciate that. Too many people add useless filler to their videos.
The best series on RUclips! Congrats from Brazil
Jeff the type of guy to train the tibialis anterior on leg day
Do you want muscle imbalances? I didn't think so. *Does weighted toe raises*
Mikolaj Beer lmao
Lol I do train them! Makes your calves look wider from the front, for more aesthetics.
I don't even train calves because I already use them in my MMA sessions where I'm using my calves jumping all around but I train my legs
What is the most weird exercise in your gym? Can't stand the hip thrusts.

Definitely gonna make sure that I minimize these mistakes the next time that I lift.
Perfect timing my dude, I was just discussing with people how doing the wrong form can easily lead to injury!
It’s not Tuesday until we get a technique video!!

lol I was about to deadlift rn in the gym and hit this notification as I touched the bar. In time Jeff

I did deadlifts this morning. So this video came in at the right time!
Jeff can I just say the face cracks when you perform as the bad lifter make these videos so much better.
Value on these videos is next level!!
Great breakdown.
Performing the exercises wrong to show everyone what not to do is great.

Biggest error is not deadlifting in front of a mirror to see the pump 😂💪🏻
Right the whole body looks huge lol. Especially the Delts traps and neck
pump of which part?
Bruh if you get a pump on deadlift you're doing it wrong
@@corynorell3686 bruh you're fucking stupid. He's meaning as you're doing the movement all your muscles pop out and give you a pumped look. Looks like you're not doing it right and going heavy enough to see that.
CamryV6SE then why the fuck would he say to see the pump??
That 10 second intro song always gets me so hyped to learn and then lift.

I still manage to always snap up my lower back when I do these so I just do straight legged deads instead for the hams and squat regular for quads.
Same

@@jjwp-ql5rv um the deadlift still builds the spinal Erectors so yes you should still feel soreness in the lowerback, not pain but soreness.
Just be wary of your legs pushing the bar away from the centre of mass (mid foot) which is closer to the lower back=less strain on it
JEFF I LOVE YOU
New to lifting, and your videos are so helpful!
U the best teacher bro good job learnd alot from you keep it going 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Thanks for all the advice, I’ve been putting it into practice and I’m seeing great progress.

Great info as always!
Your videos are amazing!
good tips and good video! thank you!
Maybe you could also talk about shoulder position, when deadlifting😊👌🏼
very nice. good guide for deadlifts.
