    Hey Matt, this is Loren from Louisiana. I’ve been watching your videos on RUclips and I think your self working card tricks are amazing. So far I have learned about seven card tricks from your videos and I have a few more I’m practicing and learning. Your card tricks are easy to understand when you are demonstrating them. Keep them coming, can’t wait to see more.
    Thanks again
    Loren

    Nice to see old becoming new again. This an old Stuart James effect. Better Than That. Almost 100 years old.

    You could use hearts instead if you want, because "spade" and "heart" are both 5 letters long- just change the flushes both to hearts and swap AH for AS you used in the video!

    Love it Matt. The set up is so easy and I like how it’s ready again within seconds. I hope you and your family had an amazing Thanksgiving and that you, as a professional magician, made the turkey disappear! Be well…Manny!

    What do you count if the number is 7 ? So 5-2 4-3 6-1 ? Under double digits I’m confused

    Every time I try it doesn't Works. When you add the two digits of the number between 10-20 and there should be the ace of spades the is always the J of spades. And I did the preparation correct and repeated it many times. Always not the Ace

    Could you please make half of the screen from the spectators point of view and the other half from your point of you. Thank you😊😊

    • @MattMcGurk
      @MattMcGurk  10 дней назад

      So the explanation from behind? Or you mean split screen all the way through?

  • @BillGreenAZ

    No sleight of hand? The sleight of hand is the shuffle keeping the top cards on top. I'm pretty sure there will be some people that catch this.

    • @MattMcGurk
      @MattMcGurk  10 дней назад +1

      Not at all, unless you draw attention to it. It should be something that happens in the background as you chat to them. It’s also optional.

    • @BillGreenAZ
      @BillGreenAZ 9 дней назад +1

      @@MattMcGurk yeah, I didn't catch it when you did it. You were pretty smooth about it.

    Good trick…However, it’s been my experience that anytime I do a card trick and the spectator ends up with the ace of spades…It screams setup or force.

    • @MattMcGurk
      @MattMcGurk  10 дней назад

      It has just as much chance as any other card to be chosen 😂 you could use the 10 and then produce the 4 tens. Also just stack the royal flush in reverse order and you’re good to go.
