Hi Paul - thanks - glad you enjoyed the video. It was a real pleasure watching Wilco for some holes at the Celtic Classic. He plays golf at a good pace and is a joy to watch on all the shots. I'll be posting some more of his swings soon. Best wishes Michael
If you look at his hips in super-slow-mo, they look faster than many amateurs hips in real time. It's completely surreal, but that shows you nicely how he can hit the ball a mile and it looks quite effortless
That width going back to the top is effortless, and he maintains it for a very long time (look at the wrist angles). I thought I saw someone say he's steep. It may look so during his backswing, but not really. He's well under the pane on the downswing. Look at P6 in DTL. Club head slightly inside the hands. You can't achieve this position while being steep. The man played a draw in this shot, which again, you can't do while being steep. This is a very good-looking move at the ball.
@@MichaelJohnField thanks. I’m very lucky I get to take lessons from Dana Dahlquist. I learn a LOT. It’s interesting because he had me really working on width, throwing the club back, letting it float up, but with no wrist hinge. Coming down and the rough from this position is a game changer. Love it. Keep up the great posts. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
One word. Wow!! Love it! Thanks for the post.

194 yards 8 iron dangggg
Hey Michael, do you have any more videos of Daniel gavins who was in that group ?
I don't think so. In the practice round Wilco was playing with Richie Ramsay and Louis De Jager.
Looks very steep to me, but he has excellent lower body rotation to counter.
He's not steep, it's the camera angle I think...he looked steep to me first till I watched some other vids he's actually super shallow
The takeaway is steep, but the delivery is shallow. He’s got some serious speed this lad!
