You can’t be a King without the bling, and you can’t be a Queen without the sheen. Let's learn about the artistry, history and gob-smacking value of over 20 tiaras previously owned by Queen Elizabeth II. They are printed on stamps, coins and bank notes across the globe and have been seen on millions of screens gracing the foreheads of Princess Diana, Catherine Middleton, Meghan Markle and other British royals on their wedding days. Now that the Queen has died, we'll explore who might have inherited her priceless tiaras in her will.

Princess Beatrice not only wore a tiara from the Queen, the dress was a vintage gown that the queen had worn, which had sleeves added for Princess Beatrice's wedding.
Being able to wear “the fringe” as a tiara or a necklace is so cool! Kokoshniks are one of the most beautiful headwear shapes.
Princess Eugenie was positively stunning on her wedding day. The Greville Emerald Tiara looked beautiful with her dress and dark hair. My favorite tiara.
My favorite is the Fife tiara. But I don’t think it’s in the royal collection anymore.
I agree !! SHE Was Beautiful !!!
I’m so happy the queen said no to Meghan and let Eugenie wear a green emerald tiara that Ursula wanted so much. No means no, I love it.
And Eugenie looked stunning as a fall bride with rich colors of her hair and tiara.
Auburn hair
I'm so glad she wore it instead of maggot, that made my day love the tiara
So cool that Her Majesty lived long enough to loan some of her tiaras to her granddaughters.
Kate won the lottery on the Tiaras. She will be able to wear as many as she pleases. Eat your heart out Nutmeg.
@@angiecoers6255 Clearly, Meghan lives rent free in most people's minds. She's a God.
HelloPamela, how are you doing?
@@angiecoers6255 🤣🤣🤣😵
Yes. And Catherine, plus VERY UNGRATEFUL MEGABULLY. OBJECTED. BUT QUEEN LENT HER A SMALL DIAMKBD WITH THE ONE LARGE EMARALD
.. SHE WANTED A DIFFERENT ONE QUEEN STOOD UP TO HER AND DENIED REQUEST. OLD MEGABULLY was pissed. Harry said Megsn gets what Megan wants....
It took me ages to realise that the tiaras worn in Anastasia are the real Grand Duchess Vladimir Tiara and the
Queen Alexandra’s Kokoshnik Tiara
I have to watch Anastasia again!
To me, the fringe tiara that Elizabeth wore on her wedding day is a real standout. It speaks of true royalty in my view. The video was so informative and the tiara collection has so many showstoppers in it. Thanks for the entertaining education!
lookKing wonderful all of This
ihad diff
problems in my life as To Think abouT
which Tiara i would
prefer
Yes, I really like that one, Beatrice wore it for her wedding, I also love the Lovers Knot that Diana preferred and that Catherine wears a lot.
Both Camilla and Beatrice have worn that one.
I love that Elizabeth the Queen Mother, who didn’t have as many tiaras when she first married, utilized the three Cartier bracelets to have a tiara frame created to give her more options.
All those that have been worn by Catherine Princess of Wales are my personal favorites. Catherine is so naturally beautiful and understated, and the delicate nature of the tiaras she's borrowed really suit that style. She always looks stunning and impeccable - lovely...
Katherine could wear abin bag and a cable tie around her head and she would still look stunning. I think she is just one of those people that looks good in anything she wears. Mostly I think she is adorable, but part of me really hates her, I have worn really expensive suites, but still look like a tramp! 😂🤣😂
Absolutely agree ❤
I agree except I didn't care for the one she wore for her wedding, the Cartier one.
Totally agree Catherine would compliment any tiara but my least favourite was the one she worn at her wedding but do like the history behind it ❤
I was very disappointed in the tiara she wore on her wedding day. Think the Palace and Elizabeth could and should have done a better job on selecting a proper tiara for Catherine.
It's a pity there are far less tiara events nowadays. They were made to be worn and I like to admire beautiful jewelry, especially tiaras. I'm curious if there would be some new loans for the coronation and who will wear which piece. Can't wait to see!
My choice would be the lover summit with the emerald drops. Green is my favorite color so therefore I LOVE emeralds!
I hate spellchecker! That should have been lovers' knot.

Pretty jewels won't bring back the people they killed to acquire these jewels. They should be ashamed to wear diamond hats while the people of the UK and Commonwealth starve.
@D C I'd proudly walk around in a tiara all day!!!
The Greville Emerald Kokoshnik is my favorite. I love emeralds and think it's just gorgeous. I also like the Teck Crescent as I am partial to Queen Mary of Teck.
It's also the one megan markle thre a fot over 🤣
All the Kokoshnik styled ones are so beautiful, and I think Eugenie's whole get-up was stunning 😍 The emeralds really complimented her hair and eyes.
The Greville Emerald Tiara, the Lovers Knot Tiara and the Fringe Tiaras are my favorites. Gosh, I can’t even imagine being able to wear one of those. What an honor and privilege.
I’d be happy to wear a fake!
The Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara is by far my favorite. Evidently, QEII loved it as well. It's on all the money.
I do love the Lovers Knot tiara and I think it suits the Princess of Wales very well.
True
So tired of that one Diana and Catherine have worn it over and over. There are so many beautiful ones that should be worn
Tired of it
I agree. It’s beautiful.
Charles is so manipulative, he gave Catherine the tiara his grandmother gave him as a very special honour. She wore it once for the Chinese State Banquet and wore the Lover's Knot next time she had to wear a tiara. Charles wants to just bury Diana and must hate to see Catherine continually wearing that tiara which Diana always wore.
The Brazilian Aquamarine Crown is STUNNING 😍
Soo pretty! And the aquamarine ribbon one too. It’s a pity that it will seldom be seen since it belongs to Sophie.
And we want it back
@@jinxonia I thought she paid for that tiara but the necklace and earrings were gifted to her by Brazil.
@@jinxonia LOL. You've got more chance of winning the lottery 5 times in a row.
@@jinxonia The aquamarines were a gift. Do you give back all the gifts you have received?
The Vladimir tiara, with emeralds, is my favorite. It’s stunning.
Hello lucky, how are you doing?
The Mighty Vlad with or without additions is my favorite. I would like to see it with Sapphires, my birthstone on Catherine
I think it's the most beautiful of the bunch. I'd love to see some other gems used, just to make it different. I imagine it with sapphire or ruby pendant jewels, or possibly something more unusual -- peridot or tourmaline. It cries out for variations.
The Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara is my favorite but the bouquets on The George IV Diamond Diadem are so gorgeous. I would wear it to more official events.
I love the thought of Adelaide as a mother-figure to Victoria. She deserved a proper, loving mother
I’m so wishy washy on Queen Victoria. I recognize what she went through in her formative years, but to turn around and do the same to her own kids wasn’t right.
@@fvnaticbychoiceyou can't compare them in their roles as a mother. The first was a Duchess a consort from Germany who had nothing but time on her hands that she didn't use for mothering, the second is a queen over seeing the largest monarchy and common wealth in the world who was constantly busy except when she was pregnant to mother her many children.
@@MAINEIAC Victoria was immensely selfish and overly cruel and controlling with her children. It was always Victoria and her needs first and her children after. She was a horrible person, sad to say. Classic narcissistic mother.
@@fvnaticbychoice Same here. She was horribly selfish and a classic narcissistic mother.
@@positivepessimist6853 yes. It would've been terrible to have Q Victoria as your mother or mother in law. No wonder that her son/ heir, Edward rebelled.
They are all so beautiful and difficult to choose but my favorite would be the Lover's Knot tiara favored by Diana and Catherine, Princesses of Wales.
Me too
A beautiful piece but there are so many gorgeous ones that deserve to be seen. The Lovers's Knot tiara has been seen enough.
Diana prefered the Spencer Tiara because it gave less of a headache after wearing it. It was much lighter than the lover's Knot.
@@annabellelee4535 Maybe so but the Spencer tiara belongs to the Spencer family, so probably only the Spencer women can wear it.
@@annabellelee4535 That actually got me thinking if Catherine would wear the Lovers Knot one, coz from what I know, she would be wearing the Princess of Wales coronet behind a tiara. I think that would be too much weight on one's head. She should opt for a lighter one like the GOGBAI tiara, now that would look good with the coronet. Very queenly.
The Kokoshnik Emerald Tiara is stunning! That one is my fav!
Diana killed that Lover's Knot Tiara when she wore it. Especially with that white high collar jacket. Perfection! That is my all time favorite Diana look. I also love the Emerald one Eugenie wore at her wedding and the one Megan wore at hers.
@ Linda Coolbaugh
Megan's tiara was fake. It sparkled with color and diamonds sparkle only white.
I agree with you about the Lover's Knot tiara. I'm glad Kate has decided to use the tiara and admits it's one of her favorites. So beautifully breath taking.
Hello Linda, how are you doing?
@@gigiw.7650 Nonsense, Queen Mary's Diamond Bandeau Tiara is one of the most beautiful and elegant tiara I have ever seen and if you knew anything about diamonds then you would know that diamonds can sparkle all the colors of the rainbow
@@maggiemay6545 Catherine hasn't made a decision, the Queen decides which royal lady gets which tiara
I have to admit, I really like the Bandau tiara. It is understated, but very sleek, stylish, and just simply classy. That Greek key tiara wasn't bad, either.
Same! Its so beautiful!😍😙
@@clairefordzetterstrom9973 on
Yes, that one is my favorite! Closely followed by the emerald tiara that Eugenia wore!
Which one? It's too bad the Grenville bandeau was destroyed by letting that disgusting dem0nic succubus Markle touch it.
The Meander tiara also works.
My favorites have always been the Girls of Great Britain & Ireland tiara and the Strathmore Rose tiara. Also my absolute favorite which isn’t owned by the royal family, the Fife tiara. 😍 I’m glad it’s owned by the public but also it’d be cool to see someone wear it.
I adore the Fife as well. I didn't realize it wasn't held by the family anymore.
I love the Strathmore one .
Agree, my favorite as well.
@@chemrebel Ok, I just looked up the Fife tiara, and it IS stunning! Perhaps my new favorite.
The Fife Tiara would look beautiful on Kate Middleton, I would not like her to wear it at the Coronation of Charles or William
Excellent information, good job, keep doing it we need you’re the best. 👍
Hi Julia Merry Christmas in advance.
I loveeeeeeee the Vladimir tiara without the additions. It's so simple and timeless. Absolutely beautiful.
Back in 2006 I went on the Buckingham Palace tour and they had a display of a lot of the Queen's clothes and several of these seldom seen tiara + mega necklace sets. They hardly look real, especially when you see them altogether. Just one of the would have been a lifetime's treasure for most people and she had trays full of them.
I suspect the ones on display et exhibitions are simply replicas. The late Queen Elizabeth II, bless her soul, was known as a very shrewd lady who safeguards the Crown valuables and assets very meticulously.
I had no idea I would find tiaras fascinating. Once again, a great video Lindsay.❤
Absolutely fascinating information and a joy to see.
Fabulous work by putting together all the photos etc.
well done indeed!
Stay JUST as you are. Your videos are a wonderful window into family life. I love your relationship with your children and each other!
I particularly like the sapphire tiara (it's my birthstone) and it really suited Elizabeth II. It matched her eyes!
Hello Laura, how are you doing today?
Queen Mary’s fringe and the Lover’s Knot are my favorites!
Wow, this is so interesting!! Thank you for all the time and effort put into making this!! A lot of history here!!
List video is the 1st of yours that I have ever seen! Wow!!
Very informative and you make it all very interesting! Thank you so much!
Wow! This was so fascinating!!!!! They are all so beautiful!!!
Strathmore Rose Tiara is my fave it's so simple but elegant
Cant wait for William to become king and Catherine to wear all tiaras
Lady Di and the Lovers Knot Tiara were made for each other
it's interesting how much the tiaras are converted to other pieces of jewelry or changed. I wonder what the process is behind it, and how they can do all that without damaging it
They remove the stones but usually keep the empty platinum framework/setting; so Gerards could theoretically put the exact same stones back into their original position (if they were not in another piece already). Depending on the style of workmanship and settings, it can be as simple as folding ba m the times holding the stone in place and popping the stone in or out.
The stones make up the most expensive portions of the value of a majority of pieces (without historical significance, that is) in the Royals’ personal collection; however, the setting is where one sees all the craftmanship and style. Since the jewelers keep *such* detailed, intricate, & thorough records of all the gems & jewelry pieces, they could likely recreate a perfect copy as well.
It’s actually common for Sovereigns to design their own crown worn to official engagements as king/queen (and also to be crowned prince of wales). The only one that has to stay the same/be worn by each king/queen is the imperial one worn at coronation and parliament.
They can choose to make their own official state crown from scratch, create a personal design but plunder the gems off another one worn previously, or just wear a previous sovereign’s crown with some minor edits; irregardless, it must be paid for by them personally… not the public. Elizabeth sought to differentiate Charles from the last prince of wales- his uncle that abdicated, so she had a new crown designed for him personally. William seems the type to just wear his dads, but we’ll see. It will be interesting to see if Charles makes his own crown as well- I would bet he would do something to differentiate himself from his mother after her king rule, but he’s quite thrifty and rational so ityll be interesting to see if he chooses his grandfathers or does something else. The last several generations have kept the crowns intact I believe bc the great prosperity of the royal family didn’t necessitate they remove the gems from a previous model if they wanted to personalize their own.
@@McRambleOn that is fascinating, thank you for the reply!
@@McRambleOn Do you know how often the ermine pad on the Imperial State Crown has to be replaced? I was just looking at it, and realized it was real fur for padding. I can't fine anything about how they replace the ermine.
@@McRambleOn 1. To stayl a tiara into a necklace, you don't have to remove the gemstones, just loosen the tension on the bottom edge with a small tool/wrench.
2 . before Queen Victoria , the diamonds of the crown jewels were only set in the crown for the coronation and then taken out again to discourage the king from selling them .
3.The King is crowned with the "St. Edward's Crow" and is carried by him only once at the coronation.
"The Imperial State Crown" is used for each State Opening of Parliament, and was used after the actual crowning at the coronation. The crown has gone through several renovations over the centuries, but the design it takes today largely mirrors that of the crown made for Queen Victoria in 1838. Today's version of the crown was made in 1937 for the coronation of the Queen's father, George VI, and was altered prior to her own coronation in 1953.
4. You probably mean the Consorts' crowns, they were always made new, but Camilla will wear the modified Queen Mary's crown.
@@annabellelee4535 since there was no artificial fur in Victoria's time, it is real ermine, it is the autumn fur with the small dark dots, but I couldn't find any info on how often it needs to be replaced
I like the Bandeau tiara and the Greek Meander tiara the best. They have a sleek, 1920s art deco vibe that is simple but still opulent (compared to the rest of the collection).
I am a huge fan of the Lover's Knot tiara! It is absolutely stunning.
It looked so gorgeous on Diana. She owned it!
@@omwomeia9181 No, it was only on loan, it belonged and belongs to the Crown.
This was awesome, fascinating, and engulfingly interesting. Absolutely magnificent!
This is by far my favorite video~
Really fascinating to see those precious headpiece and their history ❤
I had no idea they had so many tiara's in the vault. They have enough to go around to every family member and then some left over for good measure. Can't say which is my favorite, I like aspects of most of them. I just like the history that goes with all of them. Everything with the royals is passed down from generation to generation, with homes and jewels and who knows what else, all hundreds of years old. Really very fascinating.
And many more under the possesion of members of british royal family as lidsay only showed up tiaras owned by late queen. For example birgitte duchess of gloucester had more than 5 of it own. Sadly in the future her children will sell it just to pay that massive tax of 40%
Meanwhile the common people starve and freeze.
@@cl5470 If all these jewels are sold to feed and heat the population, how long do you think the money would stretch??? A year or two or three?
Then what happens after?
@@cl5470 do you want to give away jewelry given to you by your mother, grandmother or great grandmother because many people are starving, the royal family donates hundreds of thousands of pounds to charities every year, how much do you donate ?

The UK isn't the only country experiencing the higher cost of living. Why would you think you have the right to say something like this? To shame the Royal Family for inheriting these gifts? If that's the case, IMO that was totally inappropriate.
This was a historical document and not a subject for ridicule.
What a fun and interesting video! Thank you so much for sharing your hard work. I love the Lovers knot, but they are all so beautiful.
My favorite has always been the Girls of Great Britian and Ireland. It's gorgeous!
Mine also. So meaningful.
I am definitely a Queen Alexandra kokoshnik Tiara girl. Not only do I LOVE Queen Alexandra, but who wouldn't want a wall of diamonds on their head? I made my own version during 2020 lockdown, it's sparkles enough for a poor person to be impressed.
Yeah I like that one too the one Princess Eugenie wears.
Would love to see a picture of you with your tiara! Queen Alexandra was elegant.
I would love to see a photo....I am absolutely obsessed with the beauty of tiaras..They are each so unique and beautiful..
I’d love to see the Strathmore Rose Tiara on Princess Charlotte ❤
I believe the majority of the Royal Family’s tiaras are held in trust with specific tiaras provided to royal ladies based on history and precedence for formal state occasions. It would be wonderful to see them all displayed with original designs for those that were redesigned.
While other royal families have jewelry foundations, the British does not. The great majority were the late Queen's personal property, and were loaned out, often long term, to various family members at her discretion. The majority were probably left to Charles to avoid inheritance taxes.
@@Valla84 Of course the British Royals have something like that, this "Trust" was founded by Queen Victoria
@@Valla84 In any case, they are not distributed as private property to family members, or bequeathed to someone other than the monarch. This ensures the indivisibility and accessibility of the collection to all royal ladies.
Erin O'Brien the tiara's etc are not held in trust and are worn at other occasions beside state occasions
@@Valla84 oh yeah cause there
seems to be somewhat of
an obsession that’s kinda all about demonizing the BRF by throwing accusations like “theft stealing” cuz uh um some people will definitely of course predictably envy royalty of course nothing really new at all
I love The Greville. The tiaras can look different on different people. One can just imagine the recent Queen Elizabeth's joy at inheriting all those jewels at different intervals.
Greville Emerald Kokoshnik and Strathmore Rose Tiara are my two favorites, I'd love to see the Strahmore Rose on the Princess of Wales.
You must have loved seeing her in it. She looked so beautiful.
My favorite are the Sapphire set and crown that Camellia wore twice so far. I’m glad to know the queen made sure that camellia’s daughter wouldn’t ever get one.
Who is Camillia?
Hope that's true!!! And Camilla only gets to loan, hope that's true, not own!!
I don't know any Camillia but I know a Cowmilla.
Absolutely fascinating video! I so enjoy your videos!
Such a beautiful presentation of beautiful objects. Wonderful work on your part.
I've always liked the lovers knot tiara. It has a simple grace. Besides, it looks so elegant on princess Catherine.
As she only married into family and not born of,royal blood she is nit entitled to be called Princess Catherine. She is HRH Catherine, princess of wales only. Same rule for the previous two holders of title, Camilla and Diana
Bandeau would be pronounced as [ban-dough] rather than [ban-do], but I love all the tiara's, so keep them coming! Great channel!
Likewise “pave’” is PAH-vay not pave like pavement
Yeah that was killing a little piece of my soul each time
hallelujah someone said it! I cringed so hard every SINGLE time!!
Thank you! It's painful to listen to when so many videos with purported 'experts' don't seem to know the words they're even reading.
So glad someone else said something. 😓
Might I suggest editing that second pronunciation to "ban-doo"? It's a little ambiguous with just one o.
I like the older tiaras in the collection because they are more elegant in design. QEII was an exemplary monarch but the tiaras she had made during her reign - particularly the Burmese Ruby, the Brazilian Aquamarine - are leas graceful and eye-pleasing in design. I prefer the Oriental Circlet, the Greville Kokoshnik (stunning emeralds!), Queen Mary’s Bandeau, and the Meander (Greek Key) Bandeau. I would love to see someone wear the Cartier Bracelet Bandeau. It’s never been publicly worn as a tiara since the 1930’s and there are no colour photos of it. I would also love to see someone wear the Strathmore Rose Tiara but it’s been said that it is too fragile to use. Surely there’s a way to repair it! Great video - thank you! It will be fascinating to see which tiaras are worn at the upcoming coronation.
I love that Art Deco bandeau. Absolutely beautiful. The really big, high ones are too over the top for my taste. I liked the ruby necklace and original diamond tiara more than the resulting ruby tiara made from their stones.
i'm a really huge fan of colorful gems, so my favorite is the Greville Emerald one
I love that one too.
I love everything that have emeralds
I think that the late Queen Juliana did a clever thing. All the Orange Nassau family tiaras, parures etc etc are put into a foundation. Every family member can ask the actual sovereign if they may use a tiara. But there is one exception. There are several tiaras which never can be used by the Princesses but only by the Queen Consort Máxima. Therefore none of the tiaras can go abroad anymore, which did occur on several occasions in the 19th century when an Orange Nassau Princess married a foreign Prince or King. For example Princess Louise of Orange Nassau married the Swedish King and her tiaras went to Denmark when her daughter became Queen of Denmark.
As I understand it Queen Elizabeth II did the same with her collection some years ago. I'm sure there would be certain pieces which could be bequeathed separately; personal gifts from the Duke of Edinburgh for instance. I would also point out that the King George IV Diadem is part of a collection known as Crown Jewellery; items left to the crown by Queen Victoria.
many royal houses have done this too. Sweden and the UK come to mind
Queen Victoria has already done so, and each subsequent queen has added more jewels
Thx for sharing ! Very detail wonderful sharing ❤
Markle was ticked off because she didn't get to choose what she wore. She wanted the bling but had to settle for what the Queen decided she wear.
Absolutely fascinating Thank you!
Favorite - hands down: the Grenville Emerald Kokoshnik tiara. It pairs opulence (the near perfect emeralds) with pared down elegance (the small, not ostentatious diamonds) for a look that absolutely none of the others can come close to.
Not to mention the platinum it is set in has such a clean cold gleam like starlight it makes the diamonds shine even more and look more flawless!!
Really enjoyed all this wonderful history. Love learning about the role jewellery.
I like the Girls of GB & Ireland tiara.
I think it's probably the one that could flatter the most different faces:
- it's got a mix of straight & curved lines / sharp & soft
- as a whole it's not too big, not too small
- mix of big & small shapes
- there's a flowing & free vibe, yet if you really look at it, it's very ordered in its patterns...
I also like the Queen Mary's Fringe Tiara & Queen Alexandra's Kokoshnik Tiara:
- clean lines,
- no shapes that look fussy or date them (at least not obviously)
- seem understated, but actually have a buttload of bling
- look like they would have a gorgeous ripple of sparkles as they move through light
- make me think of 1997 film Anastasia & therefore evoke childhood nostalgia 😅
Queen Alexandra’s Kokosnick is my favorite, it’s so stunning 😮❤
There's a small mistake in the Delhi Durbar tiara description. The 530.4 carat Star of Africa is the diamond in the imperial scepter, not the original 3,106 carat stone from which all the Cullinan diamonds were cut. Bandeau is pronounced like ban-dough. Very enjoyable and informative video.
Thanks for the info very informative great Choices 😊
Thank you for your informative videos!
Well done and interesting. I toured the Crown Jewels at the Tower on a tour in London years ago. I liked the more simplistic styles.
I think one of my favorites is the Indian circlet tiara. Also the meander tiara. They both are very simple yet beautiful designs
I would absolutely adore the first kokoshnik style one. It's classy and elegant, and reminds me of my childhood favourite film Anastasia. I always loved the tiara she wore at the end and the way it shone.
I am utterly obsessed with the Strathmore Rose Tiara, it's just so beautiful. Floral tiaras are always my favourite, but the Strathmore Rose is the absolute star of the style for me. It's so elegant and dainty, its just perfection.
It came out last week
HRH Catherine, Princess of Wales looked stunning in it. What a wonderful surprise to see this tiara. I thought it was too fragile to wear. Princess Charlotte will look amazing in this.
Kudos for superb coverage of the tiaras of Queen Elizabeth II. My favorite style has always been the Lover's Knot. The only recommendation I have for this video is the pronunciation for the word "bandeau". It comes from the French word for headband which is "bandeau", but the pronunciation is "ban-doh", not "ban-doo". Otherwise, this is an exceptional piece of informative work.
When there are French words in your script, please be sure to check the pronunciation with a native speaker. Your documentaries are interesting, but the mispronunciation detracts from their effect. You will also be doing your listeners a favor; nowadays, unfortunately, a good number of people don't speak foreign languages well, and correct pronunciation will benefit them. It's also a sign of respect for foreign cultures. Other viewers have written similar replies; please take them seriously.
They are all so different and beautiful. Triumphs of the jewellery artist.
I love the aquamarine plus the emerald one that Eugene wore at her wedding.
No mention of what Precious Princess Diana wore, most beautiful woman to ever wear a Tiara, SHE did live and she still Shines. The Lover's Knot , The Spencer Tiara, Most Beautiful ❤
Those were mentioned.
Catherine, Princess of Wales looks amazing in this tiara. She has made it her own.
The Teck Crescent Tiara is my absolute favourite!
Wow the aquamarine and ruby tiaras are so pretty, yet seldom seen. Most of them are plain diamonds which is sparkly but has not as much character.
Sorry the Aquamarine and, again, the overdone of necklace, etc. Hopefully someone with good taste like Catherine or Sophie get it down to earth size and do something else with that huge necklace -- maybe helping the homeless find shelter. Elizabeth designed that grotesques Aquamarine tiara and one can see she has very poor taste.
Very interesting. Especially the ones that were gifted but never worn. Thank you
I have always loved The Lovers Knot Tiara. It has Princess Diana all over it!! 🇬🇧👑🇬🇧👑🇬🇧👑♥️♥️
FYI…the current Princess of Wales hasn’t gone by Catherine Middleton in more than a decade. Time to catch up already.
Thank you. This really gets on my nerves.
Well said, especially as Sophie was referred to correctly. But for the record I loved the video.
What's even weirder to me is how she's always called Kate instead of CATE, if her name is spelled Catherine. Agreed that she should be called Princess by NOW.
No one cares
I LOVE THEM ALL
They are all so beautiful. Hard to choose a favorite.
Great video! Perfect the way it is💖
What I especially liked concerning Q Elizabeth and the royal tiaras was that she carefully considered each loan so that there were a variety of the tiaras on show in any given year. She also considered the clothes and the person who would wear the tiara, or her dresser did, and made sure that the tiara loaned would stand out yet compliment the wearer. I hope this continues with Queen Camilla and later,Princess of Wales, Katherine, when she becomes Queen.
The “Aquamarine Ribbon” is my favorite. The history behind these tiaras is fascinating. However, i must reflect on how much money is tied up in these beautiful (but rather silly) adornments and could be put to more benevolent use. 😌
The meander tiara is one of my favorites. It’s simple elegance is stunning, along with its homage to history
Yes, especially since it was given by a Greek princess (by marriage) to the bride of her Greek prince son. Very fitting.
I love the lover's knot!and the Kokoshnik!!!
Wonderful and educational content! Thank you!
So beautiful love jewelry!!! You can only dream of these jewels my goodness
Can we all agree it's time to stop using Princess Catherine maiden name. She's not Kate Middleton anymore.
I agree all tiaras are absolutely gorgeous. ❤❤❤❤
😅This was as a wonderful overview of the royal tiaras. Thank you. 😊😊😊😊

My style: The Teck Cresent/ The Strathmore Rose Tiara
What I would wear to my wedding: The Kokoshnik Tiara/Dehili Durbar Tiara
Relic of the past: The Brazilian Aquamarine Tiara/Belgian Sapphire Tiara
The Greville Emerald tiara Eugenie wore on her wedding day looked amazing on her. In fact, they all wore tiaras which seemed to suit them well.
My choice of tiara for myself would definitely be the Meander, though.
I admire the Kokoshnik style tiaras, especially the ones with the bars that are a little taller. I saw one in the animated movie Anastasia and I've loved that style since then.
I love the Lover's knot. Its the most memorable for me.
The tiaras are very beautifully decorated designed to provide a unique style of modern design and modern style of crowns.
I liked the Bandau, The Meander and the Strathmore the best. The Fringe Tiara that Queen Alexandra had made is very nice as well.
