My cat and I arrive to begin my Thailand retirement early Oct. '24. I can't even consider any place who won't accept her, so could you please mention in your videos whether or not the particular condo is pet friendly? 🤔😺
Unless I say otherwise, they are not. It's very uncommon for pets to be allowed in condos here. If you watched this video, you saw a note on the screen that the property is "pet tolerant" for owners. If you are an owner, you can have a pet, but it shouldn't be seen or heard by others. They do not allow any pets for renters.
Love the 2bdrm but almost $1500/mo usd is ALOT to not be closer to Jomtiem/Pattaya. One can get something like the Copacabana and be in the heart of everything and across from the beach. Great idea on showing the surroundings tho 👍🏼
Great video! Nice looking units, although the 2 bedroom is a quite overpriced (50k / 8mill baht) for that area. Bang Saray is a nice little community. Feels like authentic suburban Thailand as opposed to Pattaya. BUT, if you're near the Beach Road in Bang Saray (waterfront) beware of the super loud car stereos blasting all through the night. They park in front of the condos and shake your windows all night long.
When I was in Bangkok in May, my laundry for a full basket was 600 Baht! Admittedly it was a condo in the embassy district, near Ratchadamri BTS, but even all of that makes a difference.
Love your calm presentation style and I love bang saray, will be living there in a few years I hope. 11k for the studio is just about as expected but surprised they are asking nearly 5 times the price for less than 3 times the space for the 2 bed. Interesting at 35k but not at 50k, thanks though for showing us!
Looks good. But bang saray looks too quiet. Not much action. If I'm retired alone I will go to pattaya or jomtien. And pay a little more for a condo. Thanks for the video.
It is a nice quiet little town but if you need more "action" it's not for you. You have to enjoy where you are and suit your own style to be happy wherever you choose. Thanks for watching. I've got plenty of videos about Pattaya and Jomtien. Check those out too.

A very nice tour. Too bad about the lack of 1 bed units. 76M more than needed, and 25M a shoe-box, no matter how well designed. They look good on paper and for a short stay vacationer, but walls in your face if you are staying for 6 mo.'s or more.
nice luxe place but all those cafes, pools, gyms and kids facilities all cost the owners and renters even if rarely or not used and on going fees go up. not for so many. this would be worth considering.

Ann, I just reached out to a friend who has rental units and allows cats, but all of her units are rented.
Rent a house then. They are better value anyway, and you pet can enjoy a bit of outside life!

Paying 20k more rent per month just to go up a few floors is insane. No one will want to pay that.
It's the only one left so clearly others have. Everyone has a different view of value.
