This building is in a quiet area of town, close to the beach but still walking or biking distance to many restaurants, cafes and the night market. You're going to love these rooms and the property amenities. All of these things come together to make living in Thailand easy and affordable.

    All those windows are both a blessing and a curse. Natural light in an apartment is ideal but the down side is that your neighbours can see directly into your apartment when the curtains are pulled back. If you value your privacy like me, I would have the curtains drawn almost always. When I retire in Jomtien next year, a balcony where I can have my privacy will be high on my priority list and I will forego the sea view.

    I liked the one bedroom with a balcony, 8500 baht! Using the amazing thing between my ears I can tell, that's less than £200 per month! 🎉 I have to say that I agree with keeping it simple and price them in baht. I am sure that we're capable of working it out for ourselves. 😊😊

    Great video! I have seen that building on other channels and I have always liked it. The one bedroom with balcony was great for a good seeming rate. I love the 2 bedroom unit too though! Realistically, how far long would it take to get to central-ish Pattaya from there? That's where the board game night happens:)

    • @RetiringToAsia
      @RetiringToAsia  5 месяцев назад

      Electricity isn't expensive here. Lots of shade as you saw in the video and blackout curtains. It depends on how much you run the AC vs. just use the breeze and a fan. Easily under 2000 THB to run AC a lot. My bill is usually 800-1100 in a 2BR villa.

      Ya, they usually can be switched. They're all missing a wall mounted fireplace, electric, changes colors, not wood burning or gas, standard on condos and even rv's in America. Nice, if it's built into a wall unit with the tv. Easy upgrade.

  • @andrewcraven7552

    My girlfriend just looked at other Sisaran condos in Bangsaray. For 1 month stay but they are asking for full payment up front ( which is Ok) but also doubling it as guarantee). Which is a bit steep. Did they mention this.

    • @RetiringToAsia
      @RetiringToAsia  5 месяцев назад

      When renting in Thailand, it is common to pay 1st month up front and 1-2 months as security deposit no matter who you rent from.

  • @ericklein5347

    they all need an electric fireplace or two, built into a wall unit with the tv. Too plain, easy upgrade. And a combined washer and dryer, or maybe stackable. They even make combined microwave and convection ovens , with air fryers. needs combined appliances. Solar? Shelby says thanks, ruff ruff

    Hey one American to another, I actually appreciate the USD value. I am surprised that people give you so much shit over not listing "there" currency, but universal currency are USd and maybe the UK pound and toss in the Aussie whatever. Most normal human understand that currencies exchange rates change over time. I just want a ballpark idea so I don't need to google it. It is not like an estimate I going to hold you to. SO ignore the idiots. A little convenience is appreciated by most normal people.

    I'll never understand why you give baht price we dont live in Thailand dont you think you should take the effort to list 5 or so exchanges US $.Australia and euros or are you just looking for Thai people to rent or buy.

    • @RetiringToAsia
      @RetiringToAsia  13 дней назад +2

      🤣🤣 well, if you come to Thailand you won't be renting using any of those. If youre considering moving to another country, don't you think you should learn to adapt to it? I've explained this MANY times. Baht is used here. If you can't Google your conversion, you probably can't survive in another country. If I post 5 conversions, they're all wrong the next day because exchange rates fluctuate and 6 or 7 others will complain that I didn't list theirs. I know because I used to waste my time doing it. Thanks for watching. Good luck.
