What a team, what a time to be alive! I mean the honorable mentions are spectacular goals. It's crazy how lucky we are to see the 2016 and 2017 Pens. Some of the best sports teams i've ever watched in my life. So much fun, i'll never forget this stretch.
#2 really hurt as a Senators fan. We were so close despite being the underdogs vs well, basically the opposite. It still breaks my heart every time I see it. One of the best and exciting playoff games though. Great video!
damn_daniel2002 I think that was the toughest series the Pens have played in either of the last 2 years (maybe besides Washington this past season) but the way they all rallied behind Anderson and they got "further than they were supposed to get" made that team a great story.
One thing I love is listening to Doc Emrick call games. Its the same enthusiasm for both sides, but its always great hearing him call an OT winner for the Pens, especially when it ends a series.
Espeacially the goal in Nashville. Coming behind the the goal and deliver the puck, whoever, back again. That is the point -fast and fearless, what coach Sullivan told last season all the time. It works -abd that is great. Up the Pens.
Jake's goal at # 6 probably should have been #3 ... If the Pens screw around and lose game 1 there after leading 3-0 , the series may have ended in Nashville's favor. It was clearly a bigger goal than being 6th.
my god... pens have been dominating the past couple years. unfortunately I feel like they'll be trading some key players in the offseason, and not to mention fleury who is now in vegas
Joey The Coc player they're my favorite team and I don't have much time to make these videos. It's why I don't post a ton. If I had more time I'd probably do something with a broader scope like the whole NHL
It was a really good goal! But I factored in importance over skill, that is why I had a goal like the one from Shultz in the same game over him (game winner vs opening goal). Thanks for the feedback though!
I came so so so close to putting that at #1, but I just felt like the situation when Hornqvist scored in game 6 was just so big, because it was anyone's game at that point. A Nashville win would have meant an anything can happen game 7. But believe me, deciding which goal should be #1 was the hardest decision I had to make.
Craig Flanick Nope. They got it right. Crosby made Guentzel, and Geno wasn't as dynamic on both ends of the ice, like Crosby. Last years Conn Smyth was more debatable.
stop looking at the stats and watch the entire game. crosby was the best player on the ice in literally every series he played, even in the caps series where he missed 2 games or so. its been a long time since i have seen a player play this well. im glad to be a pens fan during this era. hope sid still has some left in the tank.
Bobby T. Guentzel, and Geno were both big factors in the cup run. But Sid was just a beast. Guentzel, and Sheary both, left some of Sids feeds on the table. Sids passing was off the charts this playoffs.

damn_daniel2002 Senators played amazing.

damn_daniel2002 The Senators played tremendously this season! I have so much respect for your team! Love from a Pens fan
John Kier After this season, the senators are my favorite team, besides my team ( the penguins ) obviously.
The Lightning was also top 3 toughest series the Pens played in the past 2 seasons.
I could watch this over and over. What a team and what a run. Go Penguins!
I love rewatching these videos, especially being at game 7 double OT gives me chills every time! Great video.
still gives me chills today!!!
Pens4ever

That Guentzel goal after 37 min without a shot is still one of my all time favorites! We were getting outplayed but the heart will not be denied!
Im sorry but imo hands down kunitz's 2OT winner was the best goal in the playoffs
#1 doen't happen unless #2 on the list is scored!!! Kunitz's 2OT winner should be #1
still crying
When the title of the video popped up, I immediately thought of that goal. It should have been #1.
Loved that game it’s everything playoff hockey is all about especially overtime
Word! 👍🏾
The Scott Wilson one was the coolest ! The no look backhand
#8 Huuuuge goal Phil Kessel against Ottawa! Great memory.
I didn't see game 1 against the preds had a power outage man those hainsey and guentzal goals were sick !
the honourable mentions were the best in my opinion but good list anyways
11 16 I
David Vallie I like how you commented that at 11:16
I think it was by the importance of the goal
11 16 it was how important the goal was, not the best as in highlight reel goals.
How doesn't he put up the behind the back pass from 87 to 43 for the wide open net lol prolly the best looking play/goal of the entire playoff
great list well done can't see it enough
11:13 Every time I see this replay I have to shout out the lady in the front row. I feel your pain. Yet so sweet!
Great vid...nice job! October 4th can't get here soon enough! Threepeat anyone?
Wow pens are awesome
Personally the empty netter in game 6 of the finals was my favorite......
You've obviously never seen my mama. If so, damn bruh...you nasty
The empty netter represented the whole series. Pk got beat because he got out played. You can't talk without the proof on the ice to back you up
2:33 holy sugar thats a snipe #SNIPED
One timer slap up high .. perfectly placed. No luck involved.
I feel like Hagelin's open netter deserves a spot somewhere. It killed the Predator's chance of coming back.
no shit

I loved hockey sense I was 2
Hey nice vid dude

Back to back jacks....sweet victory
I was in the nosebleeds behind the goal for #1 :)
R.I.P. Root Sports.
I actually thought the Hainsey goal should be number 1 in terms of aesthetics. I remember watching live it was so great.
Tyler Jones sure was great! Was really happy to see a blue collar type player like Hainsey score. He’s got 1 more than Ovi does in the final ;)
Listen to Bob Errey around 3:07 hahahaha
Pens are the greatest
lol, bottom guy at 10:52 trying to imitate the ref after that "bad call"
my god... pens have been dominating the past couple years. unfortunately I feel like they'll be trading some key players in the offseason, and not to mention fleury who is now in vegas
Where was crosbys breakaway goal
I didn't feel it was as big of a goal as the others on this list considering it came in a 4-1 loss. I took importance into account more than skill.
Idk about kessel at 8. That was mostly Anderson catching an edge.
Why only pens
Joey The Coc player they're my favorite team and I don't have much time to make these videos. It's why I don't post a ton. If I had more time I'd probably do something with a broader scope like the whole NHL
In the 2016 one why the away alot.. until no. 7 then home
I would like hornqvist' to be first, since it was the Cup winner
Wait a minute..... You didn't put the Horny goal vs Washington... That was the nastiest goal.
It was a really good goal! But I factored in importance over skill, that is why I had a goal like the one from Shultz in the same game over him (game winner vs opening goal). Thanks for the feedback though!
pooor caps.. always having to play the best team in league in playoffs 2nd round lol 2:33 goalie was even scared of that shot lol flinching big time
Scott Wilsons goal should have been higher
0:30 should've just put Crosby
Holy shit i miss this fuck corona bro
Магнитка делает погоду
STANLEY CUP 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
if nashVille won they will have been In Pittsburgh
ok
Meh
O
when kunitz shot it in game 7... should of done it no.1
I came so so so close to putting that at #1, but I just felt like the situation when Hornqvist scored in game 6 was just so big, because it was anyone's game at that point. A Nashville win would have meant an anything can happen game 7. But believe me, deciding which goal should be #1 was the hardest decision I had to make.
Thedogontop people are stupid. Hornqvist actually has better Stats than Neal since that trade
Guentzel or Geno should've won the Conn Smythe
Craig Flanick Nope. They got it right. Crosby made Guentzel, and Geno wasn't as dynamic on both ends of the ice, like Crosby. Last years Conn Smyth was more debatable.
Djm Pgh I agree. Although I was pulling for Guentzel just because of the story line, but I kinda figured it would go to Sid.
stop looking at the stats and watch the entire game. crosby was the best player on the ice in literally every series he played, even in the caps series where he missed 2 games or so. its been a long time since i have seen a player play this well. im glad to be a pens fan during this era. hope sid still has some left in the tank.

Djm Pgh yea last year I think Phil deserved it just as much if not more
