      I probably don't have a lot of thumbs down YET, only because very few people have seen this video, and so far they've been very forgiving! LOL

    I'm trying to get 20+ yr old pen stripes off my '98 F-150. Absolute pain to deal with. I'm using tye Whizzy Wheel, which is similar to your eraser wheel. Even GooGone can't loosen the stripes.

    It's been a year. I need to make a follow up video. My hood stayed clear from my old sticker for about 8 months. Recently i can see the glue residue showing up again where the old vinyl used to be! Apparently i didn't buff out enough clear coat. So weird that it was clear for more than 6 months then started to show again!

    What kind of fender flares are those? I like them.

      Thanks! They are the stock fenders. I just cut them with a dremel tool, and edged them with door trim!

    We just got a used (2015) renegade that has an ugly hood decal. I want to remove it, should i worry about it not coming off with a heat gun? I dont want to ruin the hood and have to repaint it.. dunno how long its been on there but good lord, its god awful lol. A big black area with bike tire tread thru it.. any advice?

    okay i have a question WHAT DO YOU MEAN "put that back where it goes" you just put a wrench into a black hole in the corner of your engine compartment! haha does it not rattle around or like, fall out??? I just bought a TJ teach me your ways

      Haha! Can't believe you noticed that! I found these two little unused areas of space on either side of the hood. Perfect for 2-3 screwdriver sized handtools on each side! They fit kind of tight. I haven't noticed any rattling, well.. not over all the other rattling! LOL

    WILL IT HURT THE PAINT UNDER THE STICKER?

    • @JeepRoad
      @JeepRoad  3 года назад +1

      There's a clear coat on top of your paint. You're actually polishing down (partially rrmoving) the clear coat, but that's whst it's there for. As ling as you don't go too far and remove it all!

      I always make sure that when I do use the wheel or just heat gun and a scraper with new plastic razor blades I always make sure I use heavy dish soap and water to help lubricate it

      Those wheels are really meant for when you take off the letters of a vehicle like Escalade for example they usually leave a real thick.glue and that's what those wheels are GREEAT FOR
