Great video, I hade a vinyl Pegasus for my Fiero that was probably ten years old or more. Your video allowed me to put it on successfully. Like you said, you have to be patient. Had a bump on my paint that shows, but outside of that, it looks good. Thanks again
I have watched all the videos on line .... This is the best detailed oriented one ... Only thing I would add is use 4drops of baby shampoo in water to keep vinyl a little more mobile....
If you hang the decal it will unroll itself. Much cleaner. Also squeegee the decal before you start. This will prevent loose pieces. I also like to add a couple drops of dish soap to the water.
Hi Benjamin, no that is the hole from the windshield sprayer nozzle under the vinyl. You will poke a hole through the vinyl there and re-install the sprayer on top after the installation. Hope that helps.
We have never used rapid tack, but we have heard it is a good product. You can use soapy water, but if you don't get the ratio right it can make it difficult for the decal to stick. If you decide to use soap, just do a tiny drop in a full sized bottle. In other words, its better to use less than more. We want to keep things as simple as possible for our customers so we just use water and have always had good results. Hope this helps. Thanks for your business!
That's not really how professionals install decals.....close though. You should have ran a piece of tape all the way across the middle to make a hinge, instead of just taping the edges. Also, you should burnish the entire decal prior to installing it. That will prevent you from having pieces not stick to the transfer tape. Id also recommend using cast vinyl on a hood. Its much more resistant to the heat of the hood, and the sun. Overall though, minus that one bubble, nice install
Beast mode. Good job
Really excellent demonstration. All the best from the UK 🇬🇧

Very helpful video, thank you.
Thanks for the video mate, super helpful. Looks pretty hard so I think I might get the local vehicle wrapping place to do it : ).
WoW! Great quality finish🔥🔥🔥🔥!!
Great video. I have a decal on my Ram1500 Rebel. How do I maintain it to keep it looking new after two it looks dull. Thanks
A spraying of the paper with water application fluid or rapid tac greatly loosens the transfer tape making it easier to remove.
thanks a bunch guy
Great video ! Thank you very much !!
How about applying a decal to a slanted front van? How to approach it? Thank you.
What do you use for a Squeegee
Where can I get that transfer paper from? I have the tape but it's not that wide
And also. Can I use soapy water ?
Thank you really through

How do you fix bubbles
How does the cut edge not peel up?
Do yo install decals live in Chicago
can you clear coat over it
Nice job. Are decals wet or dry install specific? I thought i saw somewhere where the wet ones have a blue backing paper? Thank you
The “blue backing” is because it’s a matte black decal.
You sure have to have patients with decals my guy. Unless you want a lil ass sticker, then yeah 1 can put it on fast for ya.
Great Video :)
are there decals or stincels that can be painted over base then removed and clear coat to eliminate edges ??
A stencil will create a hard edge, that you'll still see and feel when its cleared.
What do you use for a squeegee??
He said two credit cards taped together
GREAT install video! At 24:57, is that a bubble on the lower right corner about 8 inches from the bottom? :-)

Considering its the front of the hood, on the opposite side of where you cut the holes for the squirters, yes its a bubble lol.
Totally a bubble lmfao
Great video!! I see you were using plain water to wet everything down. Is that all you need? You don’t need soapy water or product called rapid tack?

Dan Bondurant Thank you for getting back to me!!👍
Thanks for the video. Only suggestion I would make is never use paper towels on a vehicle. Paper towels are abrasive and will leave scratches.
