You can use a wet application for any of the exterior graphics. If you are not applying this graphic in a cool or temperature controlled environment, it is recommended to use a wet application for this hood graphic.
Damn! Wish I went wet like tint! I effed it up! The bottom piece got all singly from having to pull it up so many times at the bottom to get the wrinkles out! Damn me!!!!!!! What can I do now?
Hello, I have recently bought your decals. I'm afraid I will destroy them if I try to install them so I contacted an authorized 3M car wrap shop. They told me they can only install it if it is a wet install decal otherwise they won't do it as it will get all bubbles. So Can they use the wet application to install it?
Those additional steps are just for the hood graphic options without the cutouts for the windshield bumpers. For the Wrangler JL/JLU and Gladiator JT hood graphics, we offer an option with cutouts for the windshield bumpers so you can skip the steps to remove the bumpers since the cutouts will go around the windshield bumpers.
I should have ordered the one with the cut outs. And wish you told us about the wet method. The bottom of my decal is sooo crooked and wiggly from having to put it up so many times to get the wrinkles and creases out. I’m pissed at myself! Damnit!!!!
