Around here we have fluke and flounder. It’s pretty much the same thing with one side being white and the other brown skin. I’ve notice the side with the white skin has no taste to it at all other then whatever you cook it in. The brown side is way better IMO.

My goodness Jay you and Sam was so happy jumping around on the boat when you cut those fish you guys are incredibly happy I can just imagine if your cuts up much larger than those the opportunity is endless now wow you got the traps and you got your fishing rods and the boat opportunity for fish dinners are incredible you’re making me hungry and I’m having chicken tonight I’d much rather have fish and ormas

What a catch 👍. For a 1kg/2.2lb; it costs us €135/- (£115/-); that four of us shared easily …. that is an expensive fish this part of Asia, but one of the best taste! Happy to see you landing a big one to enjoy 😋

What is the boom and what is it's purpose? Is it just to camouflage the rig in the weeds?
The boom is so the trace line dosnt tangle round the main line on the decent 👍
I've only heard the fish's name Turbot, but never saw it for sale. I have lived on both coasts of the US. You've given me a new challenge - find a fishmonger or restaurant offering this specialty!
Cracking video guys only criticism in my opinion do not go out on a boat sea fishing in wellies... safty first alway as a small boat owner I'd never ever do it im sure your local RNLI would advise against it but its up to you guys brill catch but stay safe... always 🙂

You don't have to remove the garlic cloves or hot peepers from the pan, you can put the fish right on top of them, the garlic and hot peppers are the b best part, but I keep forgetting Britts are not fond of any spices, I always heard that they like bland food.

Question. I had some cod and it had a worm in it. Noticed after cooking the fish. Is this common? Will it hurt you? Kinda threw me off of fish.
Great question mate when cooked the worms will not harm you at all , your find fish like cod , bass and pollack all have them , it’s very common
Looks almost exactly like Alaskan halibut just a bit smaller and I read it's a bit more fishy than halibut,one of my favorites✌️ Napa California
