to people disliking the vid the bait there getting will have to last all year. we used to do the same when me my bro and my cuz had are fishing boat. the mackerel dont stay in for long so you need to get as many as you can. we used to give some away to the old boys in the pub and we would eat a few there good eating on the bbq in tin foil.
We have waited a long time for a Smash and Inglorious boat trip and you havent disappointed. Love maccie bashing especially with light gear as a lot of people dont give them the credit as a fighting fish they deserve, and like you said most anglers just see them as bait and forget how good they are to eat. One time we went about 12 miles off shore, the GPS went out and the compass was already broken. Next thing we knew we were surrounded by a thick fog with only about 20 feet of visibility. We were completely lost slowly driving through the fog trying to find another boat or some land, and all of a sudden we stumbled on a huge bait ball at the surface. There were porpoises and tons of birds feeding out there. We instantly had a fish on both rods. We were trolling for salmon, and once we reeled in the rods and went to set them back down, another bite before we could even drop the downriggers. We put the heavy gear away and pulled out the light spinning rods and started casting. We caught over 60 salmon within like 30 minutes. It was just like this, except with 5-15 pound coho! I've never caught any fish that quickly in my life, it was amazing. A few hours later a big fishing boat drove by, and we asked one of the deckhands which way the land was, and set off through the fog on our way home
You've got Jay and Sam now inglorious to, catch by hand, or rod and line too, fish, lobsters and spiders a must and don't forget abalone, and tender them u must, so the moral of these words are plain to see, smash fishing rock's "yeah baby".
Hell yeah bro 70k, your getting there, i allways give you shoutouts on my other favorite channels like deer meat for dinner, outdoor chef life, guga foods, blacktip ph, hiroyuki terada, south florida fishing channel, you got to do more videos with this guy with the boat, adding variety is key, sam, your girl, this guy, i enjoy meeting new interesting people, a little tip. Wipe your mackerel with a light layer of olive oil before seasoning, seasoning will stick but the fish will not stick to the pan or foil, makes the skin have a better texture if you eat skin, i peel it off but man is mackerel amazing, such a tasty fish

Have you beer battered or corn battered the fish? Add some cajun seasoning and lemon! Absolutely delicious! Also low and slow with maple butter is delicious

Smash A good tip is put a heavy lure on That’s works as a lead weight you might even get a big jumbo Mackerel with that

The smaller ones are great for a starter on the BBQ. Wrap them in foil parcels with butter.

Mackerel is our favourite eating sea fish. Just a little salt nothing else is what we like. Such a tasty great value fish :)))
