Soon as I saw the Gunslinging, I knew you were my kinda guy. Been thinking about picking up a Taurus 856 or 605 snubby, was wanting to see how they cleaned up.
Hah thanks brotha. I would highly recommend it. It's a great piece. I spent about 2 hours on it but if you go hard on it for 3 hours you can have it super shiny. Planning on a second try soon. Taurus has a good holster for it on their website as well. I'll be posting a review video once it comes in.
The mothers is it high grit and doesn’t respond well to the speed of the dremel. But even with brushed metal the mothers can do it if you only uses a cloth. Get you a cloth buffing when and compound set, it’ll change your life
@@Alejandr-io3oe no I’ve carried it over a hundred times in a pocket holster and taken to range a few times since and it is still pretty shiny with no deterioration at all
Hey Jake check this vid if you want to see it. I use it on all of my guns and works excellent. It’s L. A. Colors color craze gel extreme shine fingernail polish purchased from family dollar in Texas. Dang good stuff ruclips.net/video/tRFJy8o-6IM/видео.htmlsi=88Xl_T8apoOB7QtB
Not a mirror finish, but not a dull finish either. Looks good.

@@GarrettChumchal I may just have to invest.
About to do my 605
@@nickc5627 nice I would bust out the Dremel or some type of rotary tool for that beast let me know how it goes
Thats how safe revolvers are. Definitely buying one for the wife and I 🎉
Stays in my girlfriends night stand ready to go. Can't go wrong
Nice job there Matt Dillon.😊
I got mine to an absolute mirror finish as soon and I put the mothers down and got some red jewelers rubbing compound. Same handgun

Id recommend using white diamond and use the Dremel with it then get a cotton buffing pad and use mag polish after to get a more shiny polish look
@@xxtrapxx alright cool thanks. I’m going to have to try that for round 2
Nice job
Thanks man!
Ice job; how did you connect the cylinder to the drill?
@@ScarabaeusSacer435 thanks. I lightly clamped down the drill to the push knob like you would tighten it down to a drill bit. Saves a lot of time lol
Will doing this cause the gun to rust?

Can it be a mirror finish?
