A 45-year-old man from Edgware, Barnet, has been arrested on suspicion of theft and dangerous driving, while a 32-year-old woman from Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, has been accused of GBH, theft and dangerous driving, following the incident at Tesco in Rickmansworth, Herts.

Story I read was that the driver and passenger were attempting to pinch some alcohol from the store. The store staff stopped them and the thieves attempted to leave the store. At some point their vehicle struck and injured a Tesco employee (I have no idea what role they were employed in) and these people tried to stop the car from leaving. Good for them to some extent, but also pretty dangerous and stupid (which is the kind of thing you realise after the event). Apparently the car has been found, but the driver hasn't yet been identified. Why does the guy at 0:44 slam the door shut? - that's the point where you've got a good chance of controlling the driver.
I work in a supermarket and when I see a shoplifter I just go about my job. No way am I putting myself in the way for minimum wage or and wage for that matter.

I'm embarrassed by the many people ramming trollies into a door that opens outwards yet within 10 seconds they could of stoved the windscreen in so the driver couldn't see where to drive and then smashed the side window to snatch the keys ...
