@@bers6666, it's not a complete copy though. The art style is more or less a mix between Max Payne 3 stylized cutscenes with Hotline Miami retro vibes and visual cues. There's a whole lot of inspiration that can be noted from this awesome video.

It doesn’t have to do with budget. If you want to do legendary games like GTA 5 and RDR2 in just a “couple” of years, then you better have all headquarters involved. Over 2000 people work on a Rockstar modern game. Cyberpunk took like forever to make by couple hundreds of people (in the beginning). Later expanded to 1000 employees and still (almost) in vain. Rockstar does some 1-2 years of JUST researching locations, getting inspiration, history facts etc., not even starting to program anything. Max Payne 3 had people flying to South America for scouting and inspiration. And they are working on GTA 6 already (seen some videos that might have trustworthy sources).
Rumors say that Vice City type of city might come in GTA6. Along with multiple cities in form of DLCs/expansions, packed into one game. Imagine if that would come true... Stay in house 4 life! Haha

I love the scan lines. It feels like I’m watching a Vice City movie on VHS. Then the text emphasizing certain parts of the dialogue gives me Max Payne vibes. The neon text gives it that extra pizazz and tops off the 80’s look plus the feel. I love everything about this video. GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas is all I played in my freshman year of High School.

Not that much, character models looks better in the definitive edition and it's only a small part of the game not the entirety, no new remastered interiors nor new props ect.
@@Karv3r but did you not realise that if rockstar wanted to add in all the details and make it a "remake" instead of a remaster, they would've. Plus this trailer is fucking amazing but it's just a concept tho, whoever made it obviously put effort into making a cut-scene. It's just a cut-scene. Not a remaster, not a remake, just a magnificent cut-scene.
@@Pinemotional I'm not taking into account the direction, lighting effects or even the animations. I'm talking about the character models. What Rockstar came out with looks like plastic toys and doesn't fit with the original art style of the 3D series, unlike the much simpler ones presented in this fan-made cutscene.
