Agreed that was an awesome time for gaming but to each there own. I liked SA because of the crazy amount of stuff to do, VC had an awesome story and was SO pretty, III was my first game on the ps2
The main trilogy in the 3D era still are really good. The Cities stories also were quite good and were nice little setups to their respective main stories. Pity San Andreas never got that treatment. Side note: seems that GTA V continues the trend of not having a smaller followup title. Though I suppose you could argue that Online could count. GTA IV had Chinatown Wars which is a pretty solid game if you go the PSP/Mobile version.
This makes me cry, all the nostalgia, the feelings this gave to me and still gives everytime i get to play it. GTA 6 no matter the story, i belive that Rockstar Games will make a classic, once again among others.

Tommy is ruthless and knows what he wants. he sells the fact that he actually is capable of the crazy stuff you do in game while also not being a outright psycho like Trevor. you can see Tommy becoming a mob boss in the end game. Tommy is the quintessential gta character.
