Im becoming a kettlebell snob! Kettlebell kings just feel so balanced and nice to swing. I have jumped up a weight for competition and the transition I hardly noticed. Going from the old style comp bell to the new Kettlebell King was brilliant
I just purchased a 28KG comp bell from Kettlebell Kings, it's the first comp bell I've ever used or owned. Quality is excellent and customer service is phenomenal. The handle is seamless and smooth, doesn't require chalk, and it's a pleasure to use for one-handed swings (haven't tried snatches yet, it's still too heavy for me). I'd love to add a Kettlebells USA comp bell to the collection to see how they compare!
I recently bought a 16KG competition Kettlebell from Kettlebell Kings. High Quality, good looking and feeling! I plan to purchase another kettlebell from their site very soon!
not sure if anyone gives a damn but if you guys are bored like me atm then you can watch pretty much all the new movies on Instaflixxer. I've been watching with my brother for the last days xD
Pretty much the best kettlebell reviewer that you will find. I read/watched the 14 KB comparison, as well as numerous other articles and videos from other reviewers, and John is easily the most thorough and well described. Very helpful when most of us can't try a lot of these bells out before we buy. Thanks John, very well done and extremely helpful.
These set the standard for kettlebells. I will order more as I progress. Can’t recommend enough. Perfect for your home, gym, or office. I travel with them whenever possible. Perfect for the holidays
Love the kettle snobbery :) Best reviews on YT by far! I usually stick with Kettlebell Kings and have been very happy with them, but just picked up a pair of KB USA to round out the heavier weight spectrum - due to the fact that KK's waiting list has been backlogged for months since COVID first hit. I did hear stories about the inner steel "welding rod" of the KB USA model, and that it vibrates during lifts (I assume when they clank together during double lifts / swings). Anyway, I'll know soon enough!
Kettlebell Kings competition and fitness bells are amazing. I can train for hours with these bells. Especially when I'm putting together flows. They transition from hand to hand so smooth.
Terrific kettlebells! I replaced all of my older cast iron KBs (brand will go unmentioned) due to a published lead poisoning case from using them. I decided to switch over to competition bells because of their uniformity. After endlessly comparing several brands and reading endless reviews, I ordered from Kettlebell Kings. The quality is amazing. Perfectly finished and textured handles. Smooth body. Flat bottoms. There is some residual casting flash on the inside, but no particular problem there. I'm very happy with what I have an intend to order more to have doubles in 2kg increments up to 24kgs.
i don't think kettlebells usa still offers the lower priced pro classic model of competition bells anymore. looks like they only offer the elites now in two different handle diameters, 35 and 33 mm. they still offer both versions of their cast iron bells however. the metrixx classic and elites which are amazing bells if you like the hard style, cast iron bell.
Love your reviews, John. I have seen some comments that Kettlebells USA has welded rod which causes vibration during the workout. Do you have any idea why?
I've seen this also, which is apparent in the images on their website. Apparently Kettlebell Kings does not have the inner rod. I've been using KK for awhile now, but due to COVID I bought a pair of KB USA. Will know the difference when they arrive in the next week or two.
Donatello 89 - I think you’ll have to go with what’s in stock at the moment :) Since my KB USA’s haven’t arrived yet, I can’t comment. Kk is a solid choice though, however their waitlist is 50,000+, I believe (shared on their Instagram account).
Donatello 89 - Hey there, my KB USA’s just arrived so I have a review to report! After spending some time with them, I have to say they are almost identical to KK in proportions, dimensions, and overall build quality. There IS an inner rod (an artifact most likely left over from the production process), however there is NO “internal vibrations” to speak of. That’s got to be likely BS and throwing shade from their competitor. This is probably in reference to clanking the bells together during double lifts, complexes and flows, but is total bullshit b/c when they clank together the metal vibrates anyway (they are BELLS, after all! 🔔). *Also, my new bells are 32KG (70LB) beasts, so I won’t be clanking them anytime soon until I build enough strength.* While the KK internal cores look cleaner, honestly who is going to spend the time looking at rods inside of the bells anyway? So, this is ultimately a craftsmanship/aesthetic choice on the part of KK, and they conveniently chose to pass it off as a ‘functional’ improvement, I believe. The 35mm handles are definitely the way to go, as they are competition-regulation standard (IKFF, etc.). I’d only choose the 33mm if you’re a woman or a man under 5’ or with small hands. However, if the 33mm is all that’s in stock, they should be more than fine (I have a set of 12 kg and 16kg 33mm CFF brand that I got off Craigslist awhile back, and they are fine honestly. The 35mm handle just feels much more robust and solid for heavier weights). I agree with John’s comments that the paint on the KB USA also seems more robust and thicker than KK, which feels like it will likely hold up longer (only time will tell). The handles also have a rougher (hammered texture), darker “gunmetal” type finish compared to KK, which is more chrome and slicker - which leads me to believe they won’t start to rust out as easily as the KK or CFF I have (rust doesn’t effect function, but is unsightly). One thing I will say is that the photos on the KB USA website do not do them justice. KK’s has much more solid marketing / web design efforts put in, but the KB USA is SOLID and a very high-quality product overall (this is coming from a designer who is nit-picky on these sort of things). Final comment - the styrofoam in the boxes that arrived from KB USA was cracked and damaged. When I received the KK box months ago, The styrofoam was perfect. Thankfully the bells were undamaged, but this seems like an oversight on part of KB USA to be cutting corners on their structural packaging materials. Hopes this helps!
Purchased a 14kg competition bell from Kettlebell Kings. Requested to have it cerakote danger orange. It turned out great. Couldn't be happier. The quality finish is excellent, seamless, smooth and comfortable/balanced to workout out with. I will get another soon to complete a pair for doing workouts. #dapumpkinkb
I've got about 8 KettleBell Kings kettlebells (mostly competition) and I'm selling off my other kettlebells to more my whole collection over to the Kings. The best, hands down.
The type of steel used has no bearing on the handle finish. Any maker could choose to cast an incredibly rough handle, or polish it to a mirror finish. You can buy a cast iron bell from walmart and polish it smooth if thats your thing.
Good Review - Thank You. My gym has the Eleiko kettlebells which I really like. Which of these two would you say is similar to the Eleikos's. I have to make a purchase decision soon.
thank you for an awesome review. Any suggestions if I wanna go with with the Kings, but most of the weights are out of stock? Do you know by chance how long it takes them to restock ? thank you
@@JohnSifferman Kettlebells USA have most in stock. Would you say they are very comparable in their quality ? If I am new to kettlebell training, does it make sense to start with traditional or go straight with competition ones ? I don’t mind to invest in quality. Thank you
I've used both paradigm pro elite and kettlebell kings bells in 33 mm handles and I love kettlebell kings more because of the teardrop handle shape. It falls into your hand better faster whether it's a clean snatch jerk. I also measured the handles and the paradigm pro elite 33 mil handle actually measured at 34 mm but the kettlebell kings was exactly 33 mils. The other thing that's very different is the balance . Kettlebell kings the weight is higher closer to the handle and you can feel it versus paradigm pro which is a little lower in the weight. Paradigm pro feels more comfortable to do two hand swings because the handles bigger wider and higher. But kettlebell kings I like more for one-handed use because the shape is a little more square so it locks your hand right into the corner position for cleans and snatches.
The worldwide COVID-19 pandemic has gyms closed everywhere (and even if they stayed open, no one wants to share close quarters and sweaty equipment with potentially infectious strangers.) Lots of people are snatching up all the fitness equipment they can find to keep up their routines at home and stay away from crowds.
Kettlebells USA is the best and u get your kettlebells a lot quicker when you order it with kettlebell Kings you maybe waiting up to a month to get your kettlebell
I like my Kettlebell King Competition bells... but as a newbie I was used to standard bells, and my psyche was locked into bigger is heavier and smaller is lighter, so the Yellow 35 pounders LOOK huge... and my eyes and body and psyche say, this thing could be, what?, 100 pounds? And even though I've had them for some weeks, my psyche is psyched out for a while -- meaning the 36 yellow monsters SEEM to be way, way heavy... like at least 53 pounds, which is crazy, I know.. Should I buy some pink ones? Heh heh.

I have been using my competition kettlebell and love it. So balanced and well made I can't help but pick it up every time I walk past it.
Would love to see a follow up long term review. Great video, I love my Paradigm Pro Elite's.

+1 for Kettlebell Kings! I picked up a 12kg to try the competition bell style and LOVE IT! Definitely will pick up more.

Exceptional Product. Unmatched Quality. Recently bought 2 Competition Bells, 20 and 24 KG. Deciding on which ones to get next.

Proud and (about to be) a recurring buyer from Kettlebell Kings. I love my 20kg Competition Kettlebell!
I just bought a 16kg from kettlebellsusa! Thanks for the review. Excited about my purchase!
How's your workout going, I'm just getting into this type of work out
I just recently purchased 3 competition kettlebells (2) 12kg and (1) 32kg and I couldn’t be happier with the product.
These are the finest kettlebells I've encountered. I'm impressed and will certainly be buying more.
Got a set of competition 24KG bells. Quality built and amazing feel. Kettlebell King's customer for life.
Waters what do you mean? Kettlebell kings wears out faster?

Have you looked at the adjustable competition bell from kettlebell kings yet? I am curious to get your take on them. Thanks
I don't think this man ever answer questions on his youtube channel.
Try snebic botus......
Great review! Thank you!
Hello, was there an answer provided for the question about rods in the middle of KbUSA bells vibrating during doubles work? Any clarification?
Yes, please see the comments section in my written/text review (linked in the description).

I think I’ll go with the Kettlebell Kings?
I bought a 30kg competition bell from KBK. i’d give it a 9/10. Besides the quality, the customer service at KBK far outdoes KBUSA.
Can’t beat kettlebell Kings for quality and customer service

Good review. Thank you
Thoughts on their 33mm vs 35mm handle? Which one to choose?
Completely a personal preference, IMO.

I’ve got a couple 53lb kB USA but I’m getting a 70lb kk as soon as they are in stock again. Anyone know why neither of these suppliers have any?

The comp bells are clean from kb Kings but iI’ll always love powder coat better. Strength > reps.
Would it be fine to pair a kettlebell USA bell with a KK one?
I've got the same question, I'm just now starting with this type of conditioning
Don't forget about free shipping.
I love my Cast Iron Elites from KB USA. Great stuff from the entire company.
