The owner made a post on the kettlebell subreddit highlighting your review of his bells with much gratitude. One of the things I like most about the more unconventional side of fitness is the willingness to help each other out. I was in Academy and Dicks sporting goods stores for some Christmas gifts and I checked out the kettlebells. They had faux leather wrapped bells with plastic handles and some other ones that were covered in rubber. Both felt terrible. It is unfortunate beginners who have no knowledge have to wade through crap to find something as simple as cast steel with a good handle. c'est la vie
Unless you're specifically talking about this brand, Titan Fitness offers a solid one for about 300 bucks. 12kg empty and 32Kg fully loaded. It's spec'd out to match a competition bell.
on a different note - oooohhhhh Gerber Mk. 1!!! I'm a sucker for those knives. anyways, Happy Holidays Mark, the Wildman/Wildman Athletica Family and fellow followers and those who have benefited from Mark's program. Mark, BTW where can I send in my program for your comments and suggestions?
@@MarkWildman found it buried on their site, handle is 34.5mm... I tried Kettlebell King, Paradigm Pro both are high quality bells but the bell window size sucks. Ending up going with Titan Fitness, paint/finish arent the greatest but the price is 1/3 of KK, PP and the window size is the best of the 3. have both your nerd math swing and your mill/squat programs (adex club), waiting for the clean & press / snatch to hit the market. thanks for all the content online as well!!
You’re unboxing videos are very helpful, even for those of us that do not live in the US. Any recommendations for us Brits? Mark or wider community. Cheers
Wolverson competition bells here in the UK have a huge window. I bought a couple but to be honest I haven't used them much as they just as gyms opened up again
Mark - under what circumstances would one buy these kettlebells instead of the Kettlebells USA or Kettlebell Kings competition kettlebells, as these new bells are the same price? I am all for Made in USA, but is that the sole argument for paying the same price as a comp bell?
I would buy these if I was outfitting a gym for sure. I’ll stick with my adjustable bells for travel, but these are amazing if you have a training location that is fixed. If there is a better marathon bell out there, I haven’t seen it yet.
Thank you Mark. I have KB USA all the way up to 40kg in the traditional increments, but would definitely reconsider if I wasn’t already invested so heavily in the existing ones. Only caveat is I am a big fan of 33mm handles you can get with KBUSA, vs the 34.5 you spec here. Great review, as always
Mark, thank you for the review. A kettlebell newbie here. I currently got an Onnit Chimp Bell as a Christmas gift (my very first and only bell), as cool as it looks I want to get more weights, but in the traditional or competition styles. I don't mind to invest in quality, but my question is: what is the best type to start with, being a rookie in kettlebell world?? Onnit has one of the most affordable prices for traditional bells up 32Kg. Is it worth looking into traditional at the beginning, or to go slow but invest in the competition ones from the start? If so, Between Kettlebells USA, Pro Kettlebells and Kettlebell Kings which one would you start your collection if you were to do it today? Thank you so much for any feedback.
No, the "nose" creates the same spots for left or right handed use and on both sides of the bell. It really is pretty comfortable and intuitive to use.
It’s 99% done. I was gonna hold it till after Xmas, because my family is running all over the place and I don’t think I’ll be able to babysit the launch until then.
@@MarkWildman no worries I have been checking the site since Thanksgiving keeping an eye out, the wait was killing me haha. Thanks for everything you do man, I started watching back in early 2020, bought clubs, kettlebell, and maces and started following your stuff when barbell training was not longer possible and now I have no interest in going back to barbell. These are so much more fun and interesting and I have noticed a direct improvement in my main sports of climbing and mountain biking.

Ironically wal mart has decent cast bells now. But you are correct, almost all bells at normal sports shops are terrible
I'm glad that someone is making smaller competition style kettlebells again.
The face/nose looks like a Gömböc-based/style design. Very cool!
Curious if they will go a step further and make a Pro Adjustable Competition Kettlebell! The design is gorgeous
100% agree!

It's in the works, But probably about 2 years out
@@ProKettlebellWorkouts Super exciting! I'm sure that they'll be just as wonderful as the Apollo and Atlas lines. Perhaps an 'Ares' moniker hehe?

Send it here.
Thanks for watching. The new Gerbers just aren’t the same as the Vietnam era ones.
:) I was hoping that Mark would post his video today. Wanted to tell you that I ordered the Arc today. Should arrive next week.
Rad. Arc is very useful
Ha! When you call that part a nose, the bell kind of resembles a pig face (the nose the snout and the horns the ears).
How is the landing on the snatch? That ridge in the center looks like it could be uncomfortable.
Can you post a screen shot of the KB card with the handle dimensions / details? Being cast iron are the handles all the same size? 33 mm / 35 mm?
They feel like 33s

@Mark Wildman, what are your thoughts on Rocketlok 24-36 Adjustable Kettlebell? Could you do a review on it, if possible?
Haven’t heard of it. I’ll look it up
Have you used one?
@@MarkWildman No I have not used one but read about it online and also seen a couple of videos about it on RUclips

I would go with competition bells from the start. Buy once, cry once. These pro bells are amazing.
But pick what you like.

Question? Are these bells handed by design because of the nose?Handed,ie left hand bell and right hand bell?
Thanks Mark for the videos.
No, the "nose" creates the same spots for left or right handed use and on both sides of the bell. It really is pretty comfortable and intuitive to use.
They are ambidextrous. Anyway you catch them they work
Ok Thanks to both of you.Must be very clever balanced design .
190,000!!!

Mark having a minimalist kinda day.
Any update on the timing of the clean and press release

Th shipping cost for France 🇫🇷 is same amount of the kettlebell... So disappointed. To expensive. You are lucky my Americans friends.
Shipping over the Atlantic is always expensive. I wish I had better recommendations for you. Can you get Wolverson competition bells in France?
You spent your childhood in Vietnam .... with knives? 🤭 Where are the horses?
