- Welcome back to my channel! Today, I'm excited to share my recent fabric and pattern haul with you - a rare treat! But before diving into my new projects, I'm tackling some items waiting to be refashioned in my stash.
In this video, I transform a grey bodycon skirt into a tank top using a self-drafted pattern. Additionally, I give new life to a puff sleeve dress (a failed refashion from months ago) by turning it into a stylish camisole dress using the True Bias Ogden cami pattern.

Thanks for watching!
I had so much fun making this video and am so excited to use my new fabric and patterns!
As someone who very rarely buys new (as I tend to thrift and refashion a lot), this is a big deal for me! But I’ve got a few refashions I’ve set myself to do before I start on a new make.
So glad I found your channel, really enjoyed this video ! Loved how you refashioned those 2 garments. Beautiful fabric and pattern haul. Can’t wait to see the finished garments. 👗🪡🧵🥰
Hi! Thank you for such a lovely comment! You just made my day 🥰 glad you enjoyed the video. I’ll be sure to share what I make next 😃

Hi Karla! Great job on your orange dress! The tank top looked comfortable, great way to use that fabric. So many fun fabric colors you purchased! Looking forward to seeing what you make with the red and white fabric!
Thanks for watching ❤ the orange dress is my absolute favorite! I am so pleased with how it turned out. 😊 I will definitely share what I make with the red polka dot fabric, will use it first I reckon as it’s the cutest! Thanks again for watching xx

Thanks Brun! 🙏
Oh wow great job!!!! I can see how excited you are about the new fabrics so I’m glad you used that as motivation to get on top of a few overdue refashions first!!!
Omg I’m so excited! Haha you know me so well - I needed the motivation to sort out the pile! I still have more in it lol
The tank top and dress both turned out beautifully, Kayla! I am not imaginative when it comes to repurposing pieces of clothing, but I know whatever you decide to do with the white blouse will be gorgeous!❤
Thanks Cynthia ❤ I had such a fun time making this video and I’m so happy you enjoyed it! 🎉thank you for watching and supporting my channel.
Karla 😊
Great job. You’re so talented! ❤.
Aww thank you! 🙏
I love the way the grey tank and the orange dress came out! 100% better! Well done!! The white blouse, what about using your new patterns? The one you’ll do the green top with had another nice top at the bottom?? If it’s the right material of course..
Thank you hun! sorry for my delayed reply - just realised i can more easily see comments when on my laptop rather than phone :) im still trying to work out what to do with that white blouse... its at the bottom on my basket hahah meanwhile i acquired some lovely cream fabric hahah thank you for watching lovely xxx
I don't think I've seen anyone make the Ogden with spaghetti straps. They missed a trick with that pattern.
Yeah I’ve only made it once with the spaghetti straps which was a top for my sister which she wears to bed! Lol I doubt I’ll ever make it without thicker straps again haha
