Very creative fabric design Letty, I enjoyed watching each piece transform! I love the idea of creating your own fabric design, it truly feeds the soul! If you make more of these which you'd like to "travel" with, you may want to consider adding some medium weight fusible interfacing (ie: Pellon SF 101 or similar) to the back of the cotton muslin before you start creating...it will just provide a tiny bit more weight and stability to make the fabric is easier to paint. Another tip if you want your quilting lines and machine to work more effectively, apply a layer fusible fleece over the top of the Pellon SF101 when you are ready to quilt. There are various densities, but from what you described, I think you'd prefer a thinner density, so I'd try Pellon 987F fusible fleece. [Note: There is also Pellon 985F which the same density, but is a double sided fusible fleece, which mean you could also fuse your bag lining fabric to it, making the process of adding the zippers etc, easier.] Either way, by adding the SF101 and Fusible Fleece, your bag will have a bit more structure and padding to protect the items you place inside of it. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us, it's very inspiring! ~~Christy~~
Thank you so much Christy 🩵 The tips with the interfacing types for quilting are very much appreciated, since I'm only about to start my quilting endeavors.
Very inspiring! For your quilting, have you tried a free motion foot ( or darning foot)? It’s clear and designed to “float” above your fabric so that you can move and manipulate it easily.
Thank you :) Yes, I tried the foot, but i think my fabric was too thin. The space between foot and fabric was about 5mm without padding and with around 2mm. I guess quilting is usually a thicker fabric and I should keep that in mind?
Beautiful work. I love the Monstera Leaves too, they always inspire creativity. Great job!
Thank you, yes they do!
.....inspired .... talented. 🙏
Thank you ☺️

Hola a Pinamar 👋 Por desgracia, no puedo (¿todavía?) poner los subtítulos en español.
