The best way i have heard bluey described is it is a show show for children and people with children in their lives. It teaches amazing values to children, it is also an amazing way for adults to learn to interact with their children in a healthy mature way. It is actually a disgustingly amazing show
It's also got surprisingly good consistency and world building, you will literally catch events from other episodes occasionally happening in the background of another character point by of view in an entirely different episode. It makes it much more bearable as background noise while your kids watching cause you can search for connections and curl poofy around the main story.
@@Kid_Charlemagne😂 of course he didn't. As far as I know he imprisoned a Train in a Tunnel or Cave while it was still alive and then built a Wall in Front of it, imprisoning the Train forever

As a parent of 2 girls. I end up watching alot of bluey. Honestly it's a cute show that often makes me want to be a better father. But sadly I spend more time at work than I do at home.
I feel you. But I have been granted the chance from my wife to pursue my education instead of being the breadwinner which has opened me up to the stay at home dad roll while I prepare for studies and whatnot. I felt like you, it's hard to be the inactive parent while supporting the family. Know that one day your girls will understand how hard you worked, and how much you gave, to ensure they had lives full of love. The time lost with them is painful when thinking about it, I know.. but the silver lining in knowing they know you love them so much, that you risk your well being, mentally and physically, to provide wonderful lives, is fulfilling and powerful. You're loved man, keep being an awesome Dad!
You can't be a perfect parent 24/7. It's physically impossible. And what's more, even if you could, they're not gonna remember all of it. Just do the best you can, and when you can, take the time to play with them or teach them how to ride a bike or somethin. As a former child, I can tell you that they'll remember the highlights of how they were raised.
I promise you, as a parent myself now, I realize my dad worked long, hard, 60-hour workweeks to bring my family from a crappy 2-bed 1-bath trailer out in BFE to a cushy 4-bed 2-bath in a great neighbourhood, the shoes we wanted, nice restaurants, and hobbies galore. The fact that he worked his butt off & came straight home & still had enough energy to give a crap fills me with awe & respect. I had ro go through a bratty teenage phase first, but your kids will love you for giving everything you can to give them everything they need & more. A Real Man for a dad is worth more than diamonds. I'd cut anyone for looking at my dad side-eyed. Can't nobody tell me nothing.

Fun fact: the reason why caillou is bold in because in the book he was a baby so when making it into a cartoon they didn't want to give him hair because they this no one would know it was him.
Dude, I had heard about Bluey for a while before but never gave it a second thought. When my daughter was about 1 we finally tossed an episode on so that I could cook and now 2 years later we've watched through the whole series probably 5 or 6 times. It's so wholesome, the characters are so charming, the banter is top notch. Every episode is so relatable. It teaches good lessons for both children and adults. Many episodes, while being fun for a kid, are very clearly directed at the parents watching. I have laughed at this show more than most adult shows I watch. And there are many episodes that left me misty eyed as well. I think anyone can enjoy this show, but I believe no one enjoys as much as the parents. One word for why it’s so incredible to so many people of so many ages and lifestyles; SINCERITY. And Nux picked up on that SO quickly! Can’t wait for you to watch it. Even season 1 can just be a, “Let’s disengage from the shitstorm called life and chill out for 7-8 minutes.”
2 things that's probably been mentioned 1: The newest episode,'the sign ', is really emotional and probably one of the best episodes. 2: The creator has 2 brothers, and they are in the show as character. (The Terriers) Also, there are some people who post about their they like vrgrl and many others. Easy to find on here.
15:14 bluey is literally mine and my girlfriend's fav show, (we love it even more than anime), we have literally binged the entire series 20+ times. When we have kids, we are seriously aiming to be as close to bandit and chille as possible with our parenting style.
Thats so cute… I wish for the same. Like others have said some of their core memories was when parent joined into their imagination. Its something to be taken for granted honestly. Kids don’t stay kid’s forever.
Yep definitely try the first few episodes. The doctor episode where bluey as the doctor is not doing a good job and Bingo as the nurse actually advocating for the patient and having to convince the doctor to do there job and help is so based. This situation happened to my mom and if the nurse don't fight so hard my mom would probably be dead right now.
I love Bluey, I started watching it with my daughter when she was 4 and it been amazing. When I started watching it, my daughter had a hard time communicating her intention. now she's talking more, expressing herself with games, I can talk her through her emotions when shes upset. heart warming to have her come up and want to make a new game or tell me what game she wants to play. That and the show is just really wonderfully heart warming. Episodes like Onesie really hit me in the feels. Flatpack is insanely deep. The episode "The Show" literally hints at miscarriages
I'm 36 with 2 kids, and love 40k and Bluey. I've actually cried a couple of times watching Bluey... and I don't cry often at all. I recommend watching from episode 1 just so you can get a better feel for the characters, and get the backfire background continuity easter eggs. And you'll see more character development in the kids that way. Oh and Muffin can piss off!!
Here's my recommended episode list (if I miss something, do reply below): 1. Copycat 2. Sleepytime 3. The Show 4. Onesies 5. Grandad 6. Dragon 7. Barky Boats (there's a Bluey + Mackenzie ship in it. 😉) 8. Stickbird 9. Ghost Basket 10. The Sign 11. Surprise!
And here I thought Bluey ends up with the French kid from the camping episode. It's just so perfect to have her meet and then remeet her husband years later in a very similar way to how her parents did in that other episode.
It’s actually so good. I watch with my daughter and it’s our favorite thing, we literally bro out over Bluey. I catch myself watching clips when she’s not even there, it’s so wholesome and well written that it’s easy for an adult to really take in the art for what it is.
I'm a little surprised that Muffin wasn't brought up in the video after Calliou. Both are temperamental toddlers, but only one of them actually learns to behave and be a decent kid with the guidance and encouragement from her family.
"I have realized that you are not furries, but in fact non sentient dog mutants, in clear possession of latent psychic abilities.. *Thank you. For the Lesson."* -The Nicest Black Templar
"the meme doesnt even make sense". ahahahahahah said by someone who doesnt understand Muffin WOULD fucking crash a car into a bridge XDD i started watching bluey because i babysit my niece and it was a new show, so we tried it, she was 3, and we both got hooked. we both laughed so much.
All of the episodes are on disney+ now. If you're not gonna start with episode one you should start with the last episode because imho it's one of the best episodes of any television show ever. My daugher and I love watching bluey together and it's shocking just how good the show is from the lessons, to all the stuff James talked about in his video.
OMG YEEEES! 😆 I SWEAR TO GOD I DREAMED OF THE DAY NUX WOULD REACT TO ANYTHING BLUEY AND HERE IT IS AND I'M NOT DREAMING THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL DAAAAY! 🙌 LOL! THIS SHOW IS A MASTERPIECE AND PROBABLY SAVED ME YEARS OF THERAPY NEXT STEP IS ACTUALLY REACTING TO SOME EPISIDES PLS PLS PLS 🙏 BUT FOR NOW, THIS WILL SUFFICE THANKS NUX! HAVE AN AWESOME DAY 👋 😁
When thos first came out in Australia i was the same thoughts as Nux. But cause i had a niece we had to watch it and i felt the same as Odd. It was a flashbang. I love the show. And with 8 minutes its easy to watch just a fuckton on.
I remember several years ago when I was nannying to get by on my rent payments, and Bluey would be auto-playing sometimes. When the toddler was sleeping and the crawler was occupied with the toys on the rug, I'd be alone with my thoughts watching Bluey on loop. Probably sounds weird, but when I realized the kind of childhood I had missed out on, I cried. My parents never taught me anything useful or healthy. I was scared of them most of the time. A childhood that good exists? And I was never allowed to experience it? Why me? Why was I left out of commonly decent parenting?
dam you evolved very quickly in just like 10 mins lol ... from yelling to sorta rejecting to acceptance and be amazed... so faaaaaaaaast lol thats amazing
Nux you have to watch Bluey It's not a kids a show It's a wholesome, healing extremely well written and complex show for emotionally and psychology scared adults and parents that kids can enjoy, I know it sounds crazy but it's true There's some episodes that stand out much more than others but all in all the whole show is extremely enjoyable and each episode is only 7 min long even though they somehow feel like a 25 min episode due to the amazing writing Looking forward to watching some Nux reactions on Bluey episodes 😊
I remember watching one episode because my toddler was being entertained ... And then I saw Chilli being told she is doing fine taking care of her daughter and I just burst into tears. It felt like I was told I was doing okay as a mother. To just take things at pace. So I was emotionally manipulated.
As an Aussie, Bluey is an amazing show to watch that also has funny moments. Even without watching it with my niece and nephews, me and my little brother would check out the episodes whenever we can (and we’re both adults). I just love precious stories and very good animation.
Who else thinks that Nux is either going to love or hate anytime a certain gray puppy is on screen, no inbetween? . . . . . Muffin, I'm talking about Muffin.
Episodes that I think have good themes and messages, or are just a fun time Season 1: Shadowlands (creativity and teamwork), Fruitbat (the sacrifices a parent makes to be there for their child), Bike (letting kids learn by themselves), Bob Bilby (go outside and touch grass), Butterflies (how to handle and resolve toxic relationships), Yoga Ball (how to vocalize and establish boundaries), Calypso (gently encouraging growth and teamwork), Wagon Ride (more boundaries), The Beach (independence), Pirates (getting over fears), The Creek (touch more grass), The Dump (recycling), Copycat (how to process the concept of death), Early Baby (NICU babies exist), Mums and Dads (different family dynamics), Camping (even the shortest moments with someone can be precious), Daddy Putdown (separation anxiety) Season 2: Dance Mode (boundaries and consent), Hammerbarn (grass is always greener), Stumpfest (adults can play and be childish too), Daddy Dropoff (the smallest act of kindness can have long reaching effects), Rug Island (imagination), Sticky Gecko (how a parent can handle stress), Dad Baby (pregnancy and birth), Mum School (equality isn't equity), Army (ADHD), Fancy Restaurant (the difficulties of keeping romance alive in a marriage), The Show (picking yourself up after tragedy), Escape (a fun time with parents, imagination and story telling), Flat Pack (was already covered in the Odd1sOut video), Sleepytime (independence, motherhood, love), Grandad (even parents still need their parents), Seesaw (even the smallest person can make a difference), Library (how to discipline and teach children), Barky Boats (growing up, feeling unsure of the future), Circus (how to handle bullies), Cafe (adult friendships), The Quiet Game (customer service), Double Babysitter (meet cute romance), Octopus (different families have different rules), Bin Night (bully 2: electric boogaloo), Duck Cake (there is joy to be found in helping others), Ice Cream (a valuable lime lesson), Baby Race (feeling inadequate as a mother) Season 3: Promises (only make promises if you're actually going to keep them), Omelette (even if it's frustrating, let a child learn), Born Yesterday (realizing the world is beautiful when seen with fresh eyes), Mini Bluey (sometimes parents have a favorite), Curry Quest (separation anxiety 2: electric boogaloo), Sheepdog (sometimes parents need time away from their kids), Pass the Parcel (maybe we shouldn't have participation trophies), Pizza Girls (you don't need the newest tech), Whale Watching (sometimes parents are hung over), Faceytalk (disagreements in parenting styles), Fairytale (mom used to cosplay She-Ra), Turtleboy (the done thing), Onesies (meeting estranged family), Granny Mobile (how to out-karen a karen), Space (PTSD can come from the simplest, most innocuous things), Smoochy Kiss (loving someone means to accept them as they are, faults and all), Dirt (some things are more important than appearances), The Decider (choosing one parent over the other), Cubby (sometimes you accidentally create the Backrooms), Exercise (teaching parents how to stay in shape despite having children), Stickbird (handling stress), Dragon (words hold power to discourage or encourage), TV Shop (parents have their own worries), Slide (be kind to animals), Cricket (work hard on what you're passionate about), Ghostbasket (what is a real estate agent), The Sign (what does it mean to have a better life)
Just talking about how much you love Bluey really doesn't do the show justice. It isn't until you actually sit-down for yourself and watch a batch of episodes that you finally come to appreciate how much thought and care went into the show. If someone told me they considered Bluey the greatest animated kids show ever made, I would find it very hard to argue against them.
My favorite Bluey episode is Dance Mode. The parents act a little more imperfect, sure, but it's a good, simple lesson on what consent is and what it means. Sometimes people say yes to please others, but really they want to say no. It's hard to learn to stick up for yourself if you're never taught how to.
The actual maker of bluey said he never thought he'd make a kid show and always planned on making animations directed at adults. Which totally explains why when he got pulled into making bluey he turned it into a show for adults disguised as a kid show. It's freaking amazing. And honestly you can watch each episode independent but time is actually a thing in a show and the characters mature and age as the series progresses. Plus it's fun to see references to previous episode as you watch. And the sign in season 3 is so full of Easter eggs I still wonder if anyone has actually identified all of them yet.
As someone with a year and a half year old daughter i thought the same way until i started watching it with her. Little 7 minute episodes its perfect for a little treat
Sleepytime was originally _number one_ on IMDB, but it got review-bombed by a bunch of petty Attack on Titan and Breaking Bad fans for daring to be rated higher than their shows, which is the only reason it's slipped down to its current ranking.
16:34 “this isn’t a kids show that adults can enjoy, this is an adult show that kids can enjoy.”
That is…actually a really good way to describe Bluey
wow... you got the rare and coveted Nux heart on the comment...

The episode with Aunt Brandy is called Onesies
FYI, Flashgitz just release something related to Bluey lol
2 things that's probably been mentioned
1: The newest episode,'the sign ', is really emotional and probably one of the best episodes.
2: The creator has 2 brothers, and they are in the show as character. (The Terriers)
Also, there are some people who post about their they like vrgrl and many others.
Awwww same for me and my girlfriend!
As a parent to young kids (0, 2 and 5) there is tons of good advice to parents to steal and use in the show to make life easier .
Bluey is FECKING AMAZING and I have loved it since it came out
I love Bluey, I started watching it with my daughter when she was 4 and it been amazing.
Nux: Meh, I don’t see the appeal
James: Proceeds to explain the adult topics shown in Bluey
Also Nux: Why am I interested now?
I'm 36 with 2 kids, and love 40k and Bluey. I've actually cried a couple of times watching Bluey... and I don't cry often at all. I recommend watching from episode 1 just so you can get a better feel for the characters, and get the backfire background continuity easter eggs. And you'll see more character development in the kids that way. Oh and Muffin can piss off!!
9:57 LUZ MOMENT!
Nux, watch Bluey. Its fantastic.
I second that statement!
Here's my recommended episode list (if I miss something, do reply below):
1. Copycat
2. Sleepytime
3. The Show
4. Onesies
5. Grandad
6. Dragon
7. Barky Boats (there's a Bluey + Mackenzie ship in it. 😉)
8. Stickbird
9. Ghost Basket
10. The Sign
11. Surprise!
One of us!
And here I thought Bluey ends up with the French kid from the camping episode. It's just so perfect to have her meet and then remeet her husband years later in a very similar way to how her parents did in that other episode.
@IntrepidIanRinon Don't forget Camping.
16:20 that was the driest delivery on that Joke and I loved every second of it!
Oh poor, poor Nuxanor. Its a great show that deals with adult concepts in a pre-school show.
"I have realized that you are not furries, but in fact non sentient dog mutants, in clear possession of latent psychic abilities.. *Thank you. For the Lesson."*
-The Nicest Black Templar
The very next ad I seen after watching this video was an Australian toddlers pullup ad.
You're a big kid now.
"the meme doesnt even make sense". ahahahahahah said by someone who doesnt understand Muffin WOULD fucking crash a car into a bridge XDD
i started watching bluey because i babysit my niece and it was a new show, so we tried it, she was 3, and we both got hooked. we both laughed so much.
All of the episodes are on disney+ now. If you're not gonna start with episode one you should start with the last episode because imho it's one of the best episodes of any television show ever. My daugher and I love watching bluey together and it's shocking just how good the show is from the lessons, to all the stuff James talked about in his video.
100% wholesome show that I honestly have zero problems chilling out with my kids and watching and I don't get annoyed in the slightest.
My favorite are the "hung over parents" episode and the "Some women cant get pregnant even if they want to and try really hard" episode
I'm calling it right now. Nuxanor, if the Bluey show is going to continue, would or is going to inspire the next Bluey episode.
It reminds me of a video I saw ages ago where a new dad was talking about shows that they could watch with their kids without it feeling like torture.
18:07 Throwing Bluey on top of either Kipper or Clifford is totally insane!!! 😦🫤😐✊
OMG YEEEES! 😆
I SWEAR TO GOD I DREAMED OF THE DAY NUX WOULD REACT TO ANYTHING BLUEY AND HERE IT IS
AND I'M NOT DREAMING
THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL DAAAAY! 🙌
LOL! THIS SHOW IS A MASTERPIECE AND PROBABLY SAVED ME YEARS OF THERAPY
NEXT STEP IS ACTUALLY REACTING TO SOME EPISIDES
PLS PLS PLS 🙏
BUT FOR NOW, THIS WILL SUFFICE
THANKS NUX! HAVE AN AWESOME DAY 👋 😁
yea bro! this took me by surprise! and what shocked me even more is the act that Lord Nuxalor is interested! XD
kind of surprised you haven't seen this, its been glowing up everywhere
LES GOOOOOOO NUX UPLOADDDD
Now you’ve gotta watch the Bluey Flashgitz episode.
Watching Nux slowly get snared into Bluey is somehow entertaining to me.
Bluey is just the ultimate mood
I can’t wait for Nux to get to space and see my favorite character MacKenzie
When thos first came out in Australia i was the same thoughts as Nux. But cause i had a niece we had to watch it and i felt the same as Odd. It was a flashbang. I love the show. And with 8 minutes its easy to watch just a fuckton on.
The fact that Band Geeks isn't in the IMDB top 10 episodes list hurts ngl.
I think we need an update on wether or not nux watched bluey and his opinion on it after watching
Such a cute series and yes all those comments talking it are definitely accurate on how good it is
dam you evolved very quickly in just like 10 mins lol ... from yelling to sorta rejecting to acceptance and be amazed... so faaaaaaaaast lol thats amazing
As someone who has watched Bluey, both high and not, it's enjoyable either way
Nux you have to watch Bluey
It's not a kids a show
It's a wholesome, healing extremely well written and complex show for emotionally and psychology scared adults and parents that kids can enjoy, I know it sounds crazy but it's true
There's some episodes that stand out much more than others but all in all the whole show is extremely enjoyable and each episode is only 7 min long even though they somehow feel like a 25 min episode due to the amazing writing
Looking forward to watching some Nux reactions on Bluey episodes 😊
Bluey is in the same category as preschool shows, but is just infinitely better then any other
and now i can't wait for his reaction to their recent colab.
I remember watching one episode because my toddler was being entertained ... And then I saw Chilli being told she is doing fine taking care of her daughter and I just burst into tears. It felt like I was told I was doing okay as a mother. To just take things at pace. So I was emotionally manipulated.
Yeah, wait until he sees the flash gitz bluey video
Yo Nuxanor. I'd recommend watching the US Presidents make a Dinosaur Fighting Tierlist by Ai Presidential Chats.
So good
Alot of bluey shorts i seen made me question if it was ment for adults or kids, and im still not convinced its a kids show
As an Aussie, Bluey is an amazing show to watch that also has funny moments.
She is the best, no discussing more
Nux, we’d HIGHLY recommend you watch Bluey. Either reaction or by yourself.
Who else thought this was a reaction to the latest Flashgitz animation? XD
Nux needs to do that entire series 100%
Episodes that I think have good themes and messages, or are just a fun time
Season 1: Shadowlands (creativity and teamwork), Fruitbat (the sacrifices a parent makes to be there for their child), Bike (letting kids learn by themselves), Bob Bilby (go outside and touch grass), Butterflies (how to handle and resolve toxic relationships), Yoga Ball (how to vocalize and establish boundaries), Calypso (gently encouraging growth and teamwork), Wagon Ride (more boundaries), The Beach (independence), Pirates (getting over fears), The Creek (touch more grass), The Dump (recycling), Copycat (how to process the concept of death), Early Baby (NICU babies exist), Mums and Dads (different family dynamics), Camping (even the shortest moments with someone can be precious), Daddy Putdown (separation anxiety)
Season 2: Dance Mode (boundaries and consent), Hammerbarn (grass is always greener), Stumpfest (adults can play and be childish too), Daddy Dropoff (the smallest act of kindness can have long reaching effects), Rug Island (imagination), Sticky Gecko (how a parent can handle stress), Dad Baby (pregnancy and birth), Mum School (equality isn't equity), Army (ADHD), Fancy Restaurant (the difficulties of keeping romance alive in a marriage), The Show (picking yourself up after tragedy), Escape (a fun time with parents, imagination and story telling), Flat Pack (was already covered in the Odd1sOut video), Sleepytime (independence, motherhood, love), Grandad (even parents still need their parents), Seesaw (even the smallest person can make a difference), Library (how to discipline and teach children), Barky Boats (growing up, feeling unsure of the future), Circus (how to handle bullies), Cafe (adult friendships), The Quiet Game (customer service), Double Babysitter (meet cute romance), Octopus (different families have different rules), Bin Night (bully 2: electric boogaloo), Duck Cake (there is joy to be found in helping others), Ice Cream (a valuable lime lesson), Baby Race (feeling inadequate as a mother)
Season 3: Promises (only make promises if you're actually going to keep them), Omelette (even if it's frustrating, let a child learn), Born Yesterday (realizing the world is beautiful when seen with fresh eyes), Mini Bluey (sometimes parents have a favorite), Curry Quest (separation anxiety 2: electric boogaloo), Sheepdog (sometimes parents need time away from their kids), Pass the Parcel (maybe we shouldn't have participation trophies), Pizza Girls (you don't need the newest tech), Whale Watching (sometimes parents are hung over), Faceytalk (disagreements in parenting styles), Fairytale (mom used to cosplay She-Ra), Turtleboy (the done thing), Onesies (meeting estranged family), Granny Mobile (how to out-karen a karen), Space (PTSD can come from the simplest, most innocuous things), Smoochy Kiss (loving someone means to accept them as they are, faults and all), Dirt (some things are more important than appearances), The Decider (choosing one parent over the other), Cubby (sometimes you accidentally create the Backrooms), Exercise (teaching parents how to stay in shape despite having children), Stickbird (handling stress), Dragon (words hold power to discourage or encourage), TV Shop (parents have their own worries), Slide (be kind to animals), Cricket (work hard on what you're passionate about), Ghostbasket (what is a real estate agent), The Sign (what does it mean to have a better life)
I started watching Bluey with my one year old. Ngl, the amount of love put into the show is unlike anything being done anywhere else!

Is Nux just looking into this, before the new Space Marines vs Furries video from FlashKidz?
Non canon dlc is the best description of the new testament I’ve ever heard lol it’s so true which makes it even funnier haha
Lol i love how Nuc was doubting sooooo much in the beginning and towards the end he actually starts showing interest.
Nux: this sounds lame. You're gonna have to blow me away if you want me to watch it.
Season 2: ✴️
Hey Nux you know that the animated Superman show started season 2 already 😅
Sleepytime was originally _number one_ on IMDB, but it got review-bombed by a bunch of petty Attack on Titan and Breaking Bad fans for daring to be rated higher than their shows, which is the only reason it's slipped down to its current ranking.
The episode where they play doctor is hilarious.
Dude got a feat from TheOdd1sOut, that’s gangsta
Nux, i have a 3 year old son. And we absolutely love and cherish bluey. im 38, and its made me cry a few times
GO AND WACH BLUEY !!!!!
