Detox Pill Eh? Beta Interferon is made naturally in the human body as part of our immune response. It can be synthesised by harnessing yeast or E. coli cells to grow it from human cells. Once again, Dr. John Campbell, you are so informative and ahead of the rest of the medical pack, particularly in the US. We have few medical scientist here, just “cook book doctors” who never read a scientific paper in their life. They CANNOT think outside the box. Why have they not done the research being done in the UK? Beta Interferon has been used for 25 years in the US and why has it not been looked at here for treatment of COVID-19? Keep up the good work I am tuning in everyday.

Of course we hope that a vaccine will be available within the coming year, but I also hope that by time the vaccine comes out we already have many treatment options like this to stop COVID complications and bring patients back from the brink in serious cases. It would be nice if a helpful drug, which was inexpensive and had minimal side effects, could be prescribed straight away to anyone who tested positive to reduce the number of patients who ever end up in hospital or experiencing long-term recovery.
