That's like an archeological artifact of Pohl Barn Productions Projects Past. Nice! I love the bright colors and the glossy shine the added resin gives the piece. Good work, Doug!
Really nice form, Doug! Always enjoy seeing what comes of those leftover scraps, and what else they contain once you cut into them. It's always interesting when you're recalling which project that the layer of resin is from, and I was there for that one. You know what RUclips needs? The date you subscribed to a channel so you know when you first started watching someone at whatever point in their channel development they were at. Anyway, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Thank You Jay, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well! there is a way and I scrolled through 15k worth of subscribers and still didn't find you, so it been since June of 2019, that's as long as you are not hidden from people. sorry to say but I am, people like to play stupid games and unsubscrib as soon as you do so I am invisable to whom ever I subscrib to.
I like it 👍. It turned out great Doug. Good way to use leftover resin. I have a couple of those containers full that I need to do something with. This gives me some ideas. Thanks for sharing and take care 😊.
Another treasure made from over guessing the right amount. Great looking cup, the different colors really make them. 👍👍👍 Thanks for the video and the chipmunks, been awhile since hearing them. See you next time
That looks great! Thanks for the information about Alumalite resin. I was about to make a major mistake with it. I have an upcoming project that can't be pressurized and all I have right now is Alumalite resin.
Looking good Doug. Made a few of them to mate. Waste not use the lot. I'm back on the lathe in the new year now I've finished the reno for the boss. All the best for the new year cobber.🤠
I remember you made some planets out of left overs. That was so cool, then you put them in a bowl ( I think). THAT was really beautiful. Or was I dreaming?
I think it looks awesome! That 2nd to last pic you put up at the end looking down it's throat from just a bit off center looks like a slow mo time laps of the universe swirling, or maybe its me 🙃 Nice work as always, Brother!
Hi Doug I absolutely love it have to admit 😮I was worried about the 1st one and was worried about your safety 😊lol and I knew you would find something safe to turn 😊...I love it Doug all the colors actually I like the air bubbles in the top to me it looks like gold flakes 😊absolutely love it... ❤️ but watching your video and as it went I had a thought as you were trying to figure out what to do as bob would say "a happy mistake " lol I love it thanks for sharing Doug 👍 hope you had a great Christmas 🎄 with your family looking forward to the new year and seeing what you share ❤
Great use of excess resin. I know some gripe that it’s practically being introduced into the environment, etc. I like these random colors being poured together into a cup until they are full and turned into something useful. Well done!
If you want perfect, go to a big box store where everything comes from china. I think it’s perfect. Hand crafted by a person that loves what they are doing. Hand crafted means there may be flaws. That’s the charm of it. It looks beautiful. Well done.
“Someone” needs to be disciplined for forgetting the camera. 😡 You need to quit pointing out flaws on a one off piece that I like. Especially since a lot of people would have just pitched it before saving the resin.

I wish you would stop pulling yourself down Doug. I love it anyway 😊

Thank you Eric, it also depends on the alumilite you are using, slow and fast sets have to be pressurized, I am not sure on the other products.
MERRY CHRISTMAS DOUG!

That’s a cool idea! Looks cool to! So the way you collect the resin kinda makes these a limited edition.
Nice! Thanks for the content
As always, I love whatever you do. Prefer you work with wood.
