@@vasvas8914 I don't think it's "fake" at all, but I think it's a sort of obvious and predictable kind of redemption arc. Man is aggressive when he's young, man mellows out when he's older, what's so fascinating about that.
At the end of this story I am in tears. It’s so hard to hear what appears to be a genuinely kind and thoughtful man talk about how he destroyed his entire life and yet was able to crawl back up from the pit.
It tells me that no matter who you are, you have a chance to make your life better, and I think that’s truly inspiring.
