Not sure if someone has said it before, but when war chief is mentioned, my thoughts are that is how Marley dictates the Eldians under their command. They are giving them more primal/less modern titles like war-chief because they look down on them. That's why Zeke isn't getting 'General', but 'war chief'.
I think it'd make sense as a traditional Eldian title that they've used for the leader of the titan shifters in combat for ages, maybe since the days of King Fritz. The titan shifters have been in existence as a combat unit for 2000 years with a largely fixed unit composition, it makes sense that any terms relating to their organizational structure should be archaic in the extreme.
We have here another ritual of social interaction. The symbolic language perpetuates in yet another way the discrimination against the Eldians and their stigmatization in all systems of society. Stigma is the key characteristic of all Eldians since they are phylogenetically set apart from all other human beings. The tone of the discrimination that we see hints at the inferiority complex deeply ingrained in all societies that did not just witness the superior force that only the Eldians have access to but were victimized by it. But it also highlights the disdain all people feel about the specific manifestation of the Eldian superiority which is destructive and not constructive in "nature". The Eldians are the manifestation of the destructive force "within" that threatens the Ego, its relationships and civilization itself. This destructive force will be considered by all civilizations to be of a primitive kind, a vestige of less civilized times, which is symbolically invoked by calling the Eldians, who manifest that force in the military, by antiquated terms. Which is fitting given the role of the military as a more shackled manifestation of the - potentially - same destructive force.
I see your point with Reiner saying "No I don't wanna die!" in the dub being great, but I'd interpreted the simple "Wait!" and a sort of "Wait guys what are you doing?!", like he's talking to his comrades, which I think holds a lot more impact taking Reiner's Soldier/Warrior complex into account.
It was also Marco's reaction to being killed/left to die by him. It was something like 'Wait! We haven't even tried to talk this out yet!', and just as Marco didn't get the chance to properly talk things out, Reiner doesn't get the chance to finish speaking in this scene either.

I think zekes design changes highlight my favourite thing about animation and just art in general with that being perception allowing design change. This is final boss zeke and his design reflects that, his conversation with that survey member is more 'normal' and simple so his face isn't exaggerated to be scary and threatening outside of just being the beast Titan and his more standerd design with red eyes is how he's typically seen as a war machine at work
Yeah, and I think all three designs add to his mystique. The conversation with the Beast Titan is showing that there is a human in there. We're used to seeing big human bodies mindlessly attacking, but the calm, almost friendly demeanor of the Beast is unsettling in a new way. Then as the final boss, he's even more frightening, knowing that he can be calm, deliberate, and empathetic.
It's worth stating that the different looks of Zeke can easily be an issue of perspective - ie: it's not about who Zeke is but how he is perceived by another character
About the Levi saying "monkey" thing, he actually never does in Japanese. He just says "this guy". It's the subs that translated it to "monkey". So it actually isn't a plothole, just a translation error
They probably tried doing a double-meaning with both Zeke being a literal monkey and insulting him by calling him a monkey, and then completely forgot that monkeys don’t exist
My head cannon for both sides using the exact same name for the Titan shifters is that it's Armin narrating from a historical standpoint. The folks from Paradis would have no idea what any of them are called by default. So to keep his story consistent he uses the same title throughout. Also, Eren very likely used the term monkey after he heard Reiner and Bertholdt use it, when reporting back to Erwin and Levi. Levi being Levi just used it regardless if he knew what it actually meant. But it also fits in my earlier statement; it being Armin storytelling.
I'm fairly sure that Levi saying "Monkey" is just a mistranslation, since I don't hear him saying "Saru" (The Japanese word for monkey) in the actual dialogue.
16:40 I'm glad you mentioned this. The difference between how time is portrayed in between the mediums is so disconnected that fights like Dio vs Jotaro & Goku vs Frieza get meme'd into oblivion.
I actually think the japanese "mate", so "wait", is way more fitting as it shows not so much the fear of Rainer but more the fact that Rainer is completely stunned about this situation. It reminds me of Porco screaming "can't you see I'm a titan?" while being attacked by the scouts - a pure expression of surprise and shock.
To give people another idea in terms of time in manga vs what we think time is: It took nearly two hundred chapters to complete the story (war arc starts at 516). In our world it took 2 1/2 to 3 years to get through. In their time. It lasted a total of two days. So the freeze frame in thought is a real deal. While literally no time at all passes in their world, in ours it took years. Just giving another example of what you thoroughly explained.
Yup, this is why managing release schedules/formats is a crucial part of media that often tends to be overlooked. Same holds true for the inverse - series spanning a very long time lose their impact when binged imo.
@Koroto I can definitely say each and evey episode is a special 25 minutes we spend that over the course of a couple weeks, accumulated over time, bring an amazing story that months or years of investment allow us to be impacted on a long term scale
I think it also helps for people to digest the significance of each episode once it ends before moving to the next. The best AOT reaction videos are ones where the reactors take time to talk about the episode and discuss theories and details. They are more likely to pickup things more than people who don’t really think about the seemingly small but important details in the show
@@Korotovery true. One of the biggest difficulties I find in watching very emotional or psychological shows is that I can only watch a couple episodes at a time to retain the full weight of the episodes.
I remember when the dub came out for this episode, people REALLY didn't like Reiner's last line of "No, I don't wanna die!" as it contrasted his later attempt at suicide but for me, I feel like it fits perfectly. What people tend to forget is that Reiner is, by all accounts, still a teenager at this point. A war hardened teenager as he helped take down nations at a young age with Marley, but a teenager nonetheless. At that age, especially if you've gone through the mental and emotional hell that Reiner has gone through with his split personality, you're not going to have all your emotions in check. So despite being focused on capturing Eren, and maybe even accepting that he could die during the mission, it makes complete sense that he would fear for his life when put in a situation where he could reasonably assume that he was going to die. When he was later captured, he seemed more composed despite being in an arguably worse position. I would personally chalk this up to Reiner having more time to process what just happened and accept that he's more than likely going to die by the hands of the Scouts and if it wasn't for Zeke and Pieck saving him, I wouldn't put it past Hange to continue beheading him once she saw Mikasa's smoke signal. Whereas here he's been hit by explosive attacks that immediately cut off his vision, explosives that Reiner would have no reason to assume that the Scouts would have. Idk if I was in Reiner's position, and was bombarded with explosion after explosion on the nape of my Titan when before I assumed I wouldn't be hurt due to the knowledge of the Scouts only having blades when I last fought them, I'd be rattled to say the least. You'd go from "With my armor, they can't do anything to me." to "What are they hitting me with and why does it hurt so much?"
I think this is genuinely one of the best series of videos talking about AoT. There's plenty of great essays, but going so in depth for every single episode is something the series deserves IMO. Thank you for the amazing work, as well as revealing a lot of hidden details I'd missed on my 3-4 watchthroughs of the series
I like Erwin thinking that he has quite the view from where he stands on his corpse mountain VS the view Uri must have had from atop the bodies of those who died due to their ignorance of the truth that he had to uphold due to Fritz's Vow.
With the dub's line for eren saying "you stole it" conflicting with the music, I think it can kind of serve to show that, while eren has changed and grown, he's still emotional at his core and even though he's far more controlled that emotion still bleeds through a little. I think that ties quite nicely into the final season as well since, despite eren being very controlled throughout, in the end he pretty much admits that the rumbling was him acting out of emotion
I've always felt saving Armin was the right call, Erwin only wanted to prove his father right and seing beyond the walls. We don't know if he would have cared about the war or even if he did, if he would help with the same level of determination
Thinking about where you were talking about Reiner deciding to commit to attacking the horses or going after Eren. To me I interpret it as Reiner thinking that Eren is too much of a wild card/unpredictable force. As you pointed out, Eren suddenly used the coordinate and learnt hardening fast, Reiner probably doesn't want to allow Eren to pull another insane trick out of nowhere again so decides to keep him occupied. Also, Reiner knows Eren, and knows that Eren is definately unpredictable and has a knack for suddenly going off the rails. Such as the nickname of "Reckless idiot" from when they were taking on Annie in ep 17. Basically he doesn't know what Eren will pull next and doesn't want to give the chance to find out Anyway, I love this series can't wait to see the rest of this arc!
30:30 im so happy someone geeks out this much about this scene. Easily my favourite scene in the whole show, the moment Erwin became my absolute favourite character and the best music choice for the whole Erwin looking back sequence.

Is it possible that when they raided the Royal storage depot for information and what not, they might have found books like Armin’s? That might explain why Levi says monkey. Maybe they found an animal book or something. Not saying it has to be true but it seems plausible to me.
@@Korotopublic book burnings would probably bring attention and the royal family or at least the reiss branch seemed to like books. Frieda read a lot before becoming the founder and might have known more than average herself.
Also today we live in a connected world, but back then if you lived in Europe for example, no one aside from the specialised scientists knew the existence of kangoroos for instance. And I myself do not know the name of every animals, even those considered common or normal in some specific areas of the world (or my own country!). Maybe is that the same for apes within the walls? Maybe their existence is actually known, but no one really pays attention to them because they don't exist inside the walls, so only a handful of cultured people/scientists would know what they are ?
they started calling him a monkey when Eren heard it from Ymir, this was already discussed quite a bit in the comments when Connie first called the beast a monkey. In japanese it's more apparent so most people miss it
Shoutout to this channel, I've enjoyed the last 40 videos of this series going to and from work daily for the last month. Im so sad I caught up and now gotta wait like everyone else for the next new video. But I appreciate your content and you as a person for killing it with this series. Keep it up!!
1:56 No I think Reiner just climbed the wall in that fashion because it’s easier for him, a much bigger titan compared to Annie’s. I don’t even think it would even cause a rumbling even if one of the wall titans was uncovered, they were kinda just ordered to stay there unless the founding titan commanded them otherwise.
15:30 in the US army, chief is a very common term. A warrant officer after their first promotion is a "chief warrant officer." we also use terms like "crew chief. " Just a fun tidbit!
Soo I'm around 11:35 and i gotta say that Levi using "monkey" isnt out of place. Eren heard it and wrote a full report of the conversation. The survivors of the castles saw the beast titan. They'd give a full report as well. So as a commander Erwin would have had the tools to put it together and teach his soldiers.
I’ve been waiting for this and next episode form you, been following since like over analyzing ep 3. You pump these high quality, funny, and informative videos so well!!!
3:17 when I first saw this season I didn’t realize The Cart Titan was a Titan Shifter until the beginning of season 4 even though Erwin clearly states that she is an intelligent Titan here. I honestly don’t know why.
24:00 the US government also tried to make guided missiles using cats. They had the cats essentially suspended inside the warhead with a window at the bottom. Cats dont like water so the theory was that the cats would naturally try to get to the ship instead. They had ropes and levers attached to the cat and the wings of the bomb so it would move accordingly.... it didnt work
Absolutely cannot wait for the next couple episodes! I tend to watch these shows while gaming at the same time so I miss a lot of these small details you bring up. Also, I typically watch dub (because again, my attention is split so reading subs is difficult and my Japanese just isn’t good enough to really follow along) so you’re insights into the sub version is very interesting
I will subscribe to your patreon, I love this over analysis of AOT it's like I get to rewatch it and fan out in between moments while connecting the future and continue the story bc I've already watched it too. Before finding your channel AOT made it into Top 3 anime of all time but I couldn't understand why to this degree. I say all of this to say Thank You
Wanted to do something for uni, but yeah, that has to wait lmao. I am way too in love with this arc to be late to a single episode of this series lol! Honestly though, I still think one of the most interesting scenarios around this/these episodes is, that it all happens in such a short timeframe still!
10:45 hey Koro i recommend you the game "Chants of Sennar" no particular reason, not at all, i think you might enjoy it. (it also has a free demo) Its definelty not a game about understanding and breaking down Language barriers to avoid conflict between civilizations. Not at all
Idk if you’ll see this comment but in season 3 episode 16, right before Erwin is about to lead the recruit scouts to their deaths, there is a sort of red mist or glare in the atmosphere around the scouts there. I always thought it foreshadowed their deaths. Just something I thought I’d point that out since you like to over analyze.
Another great video! Thanks for pointing out the genius of J Michael Tatum. 95% of the time subs are better but when he's involved with a dub I'm all in. He has an eloquence and mastery of language that I can only marvel at. Hey quick unrelated question: I finally saw Gravity Falls (I know...) And I finally understand the name of your channel. But I couldn't find any videos on Gravity Falls on it. Am I overlooking something?
Excellent video... Erwin Smith is one of the best supporting characters in this series. He is the most intelligent, and at the same time he is a very complex character who surprises his army with his plans, and also surprises us viewers.
Great vid!!! I luv seeing all the teeniest tiniest details that I've missed over my 4 watchings lol. & based off of my knowledge as an elementary, middle, & high school orchdork (Orchestra dork lol) I'm sure that's a cello. But THANK YOU for even mentioning the viola! That was my most 0layed instrument & we get NO love! 😂
YES YES YES YES LET'S GOOOOO. I do have a theory about the incosistent eren sizes because its been show when they were doing tests that progressive titan shifting lead to smaller and weaker titans. Since he already plugged the wall, an action know to take a toll on him it could explain why he was smaller than he normally would be against the colossal
Ye, that doesn't really work because we have Reiner and the same exact Trost houses (I presume Shiganshina houses and Trost ones are effectively the same 😅) as direct size comparisons.
11:30 about Levi using the phrase monkey, while I do not speak Japanese it very well could be some sort of rough translation type thing when it was getting localized. Perhaps the original phrase was something that meant beast and it got translated over as Monkey
Yes, Chef. Thank You, Chef 🫡💕 .. and it was a cello this time 🤣 I *love* that you don't care, lol. It's not the size of the instrument that matters (cello = bigger = deeper notes), it's the motion in the EMOTIONS that counts!! Your analysis is always amazing and, for the record, your English is IMPECCABLE. Please, never change 👍🏾
The JoJo menacing letters and Zeke and Erwin being enemies is funnier because in Japan, Zeke has Jotaro's voice actor and Erwin has Dio's voice actor .. oh and Eren has Koichi's voice actor. So I guess charging to your death isn't really that muda muda after all 😔.
I 100% agree with the point about the battle being a turn based strategy game,, I've always thought about a civ 5 mod for this battle and it'd be so cool as a scenario.
I'm not sure about that, but as I understand in the original manga when Levi calls Beast Titan "monkey" it's written with katakana as if it weren't Japanese word. It's done to highlight that this word is foreign to him.
just got done your reviews for S3 part 1 of AOT. on top of binging the entire show in the span of 2-3 weeks recently. couldn't wait to finish the show because I knew I wouldn't be able to watch any of them without anything being spoiled. but I FINALLY MADE IT!!! also which do you prefer for Erwins final words while charging the beast, sub: "my solders fight", or dub: "my solders rage"?
Why do I get the feeling that Erwins and Griffiths stories feel kinda similar in a weird way. Both are chasing their selfish dreams leading countless people to their graves. Both are seen as this smart calm and collected leaders. When faced with certain defeat both of them get a choice to either go for their dream or saving that little bit of humanity that is left in them. The more I read into it the more similarities I find. I cant be the only one..
Beast Titans red eyes, can be reasoned to be, commandimg pure titans via Paths. When Eren used founder power to control pure titans, the controlled titans had red eyes
i've come to notice that spears are definitely a melee weapon that is heavily underappreciated in our modern times, it's extremely simple and rudimentary to craft even with basic materials, grants an incredible reach advantage, is very simple and intuitive to use effectively even for a novice, and can be unbelievably lethal against an unarmored target; it just often gets overlooked these days in favor of slick looking swords that slash and slice around in sweet flashy ways especially in choreographed sequences
19:39 oh I don't know why, but I never connected these two dots before 😂 What a flipping bad idea Edit: I haven't seen season three in a long time and there's shit ton of things I've missed
I was going to wait until another episode to say this but you touched on it already, and it's nihilism.... I feel like people constantly mistake nihilism for fascism. The contrast between Erwin and Eren is not a coincidence. There is a reason the saying don't meet you heroes exist because they are just people too. It's way more complicated but it just annoys me when I watch videos with people trying to make it seem like AoT is just fascism in disguise, you've not even scratched the surface of that's where you are.
Because the moment will be coming up in the next few episodes, I want to point out another interesting connection to mythology. There's a character analysis of Reiner ("This video will change how you see Reiner" by Reddrik) that touches on names that are significant to Reiner throughout his arc, predominately Marcel, Marco, Marley, and Maria. These names all start with "Mar", which can be linked back to the Roman god of war, Mars. Of course, war is one of the main themes in AoT, and the mention of Mars also ties back in to the way that mythology has such an influence on this story. Anyway, the whole thing about Reiner isn't important for this detail (although I think Reddrik's video is still worth watching). What I want to point out is that there are many songs composed for AoT that share a specific leitmotif, which if you listen closely sounds almost identical to the double bass part of Gustav Holst's "Mars, the Bringer of War" (the song opens with this motif so it should be easy to identify). Soon, we're going to be going over the episode with Erwin's final speech. The song in question that plays over his speech is "tooth-i". It's a little bit into the song, after the opening section with the piano, but you should be able to easily identify the leitmotif from Mars right after the pause. I know it's a pretty obscure detail, one that may or may not even be intentional, but it makes me appreciate the composition for AoT just a bit more than I already did
You cooked with that mjollnir analogy. Thor dressing up as Freya and "marrying" the Jotnar is basically the same thing as the marley squad posing as refugees and getting drafted into the military so that they can steal information/founder from the royal family
Bro what you said about the scouts not having experience fighters in the battle is so overlooked because they had to sacrifice the experience fighters to get just enough information to fight off Zeke squad....

Also, Reiner knows Eren, and knows that Eren is definately unpredictable and has a knack for suddenly going off the rails. Such as the nickname of "Reckless idiot" from when they were taking on Annie in ep 17.
Basically he doesn't know what Eren will pull next and doesn't want to give the chance to find out
Anyway, I love this series can't wait to see the rest of this arc!
I love the bits where you talk about the dub, as someone who has never watched the english dub, this is quite an exitingly new experience ~
30:30 im so happy someone geeks out this much about this scene. Easily my favourite scene in the whole show, the moment Erwin became my absolute favourite character and the best music choice for the whole Erwin looking back sequence.
One of my favorite RUclipsrs, and favorite series currently. You are a masterclass channel! Thank you for all the Kino content. Please keep it up! Love ya bro!
Is it possible that when they raided the Royal storage depot for information and what not, they might have found books like Armin’s? That might explain why Levi says monkey. Maybe they found an animal book or something. Not saying it has to be true but it seems plausible to me.
YES, I like that way of thinking. Plot hole solved. 🗿
@@Korotoglad I could help. 🫡
In japanese it's more apparent so most people miss it
Bro I’m always so hyped when I see you’ve posted a new episode!
love this series, keep up the great work
Glad you're enjoying it, will do! 🙇♂️
Shoutout to this channel, I've enjoyed the last 40 videos of this series going to and from work daily for the last month. Im so sad I caught up and now gotta wait like everyone else for the next new video. But I appreciate your content and you as a person for killing it with this series. Keep it up!!
15:43 Consciousness is stored in the balls
1:56 No I think Reiner just climbed the wall in that fashion because it’s easier for him, a much bigger titan compared to Annie’s. I don’t even think it would even cause a rumbling even if one of the wall titans was uncovered, they were kinda just ordered to stay there unless the founding titan commanded them otherwise.
it gives the chance for paradis to have more information on the wall titans tho.
15:30 in the US army, chief is a very common term. A warrant officer after their first promotion is a "chief warrant officer." we also use terms like "crew chief. " Just a fun tidbit!
Always right in time for a lunch break it's insane
Thank you very much for that video because that episodes are my favorite anything in all pop culture and yours analysis is spot on
Swear I always do a double take whenever I see a new one of these pop up I love them sm
I seriously would rewatch this entire show with your narration. You should do a Patreon of this or something!
15:30 Re: "Chief"
It's used in the USAF "Chief Master Sergeant" usually shortened to Chief.
Chief petty officer etc. in the navy
Etc.
6:42 the face when you know "Wallhi im finished"
Soo I'm around 11:35 and i gotta say that Levi using "monkey" isnt out of place. Eren heard it and wrote a full report of the conversation. The survivors of the castles saw the beast titan. They'd give a full report as well.
So as a commander Erwin would have had the tools to put it together and teach his soldiers.
it's just a mistranslation. he doesn't say "monkey"
11:27 BRIESMONIS!! LATVIA MENTIONED hahah omg that jumpscared me sm... consider me bamboozled
Posted 20 mintues ago??? OMG im so happy !! Keep up the good work!!
I love watching this series and your passion for it every time I watch these I get a new perspective I didn't get before.
19:22 Burgamas hahaha burrito is classic too
10:45 hey Koro i recommend you the game "Chants of Sennar" no particular reason, not at all, i think you might enjoy it. (it also has a free demo)
Its definelty not a game about understanding and breaking down Language barriers to avoid conflict between civilizations. Not at all
I'm german, never watched the english dub, but DAMN. That ONE Erwin line and the DELIVERY... I have quite the view... I'm speechless brother.
I actually prefer "Wait!" to "I don't want to for!", because it comes across as more desperate and in the moment
9:15 holy shit sadam hussain
Been waiting on this 🙌
26:50 that is, indeed, a cello ❤
Erwin’s line on the top of the mountain of corpses gives me chills every times it’s just peak
This is an excellent series already, can't wait to see what you're experimenting with. Many thanks for your great work!!! 😁
Unfortunately that can’t be the case because he’s still the same height as Reiner
Yes, Chef. Thank You, Chef 🫡💕
.. and it was a cello this time 🤣 I *love* that you don't care, lol. It's not the size of the instrument that matters (cello = bigger = deeper notes), it's the motion in the EMOTIONS that counts!! Your analysis is always amazing and, for the record, your English is IMPECCABLE. Please, never change 👍🏾
We're finally getting to the juiciest parts of the series and I love it! ❤
The best AOT content
The JoJo menacing letters and Zeke and Erwin being enemies is funnier because in Japan, Zeke has Jotaro's voice actor and Erwin has Dio's voice actor .. oh and Eren has Koichi's voice actor.
So I guess charging to your death isn't really that muda muda after all 😔.
I 100% agree with the point about the battle being a turn based strategy game,, I've always thought about a civ 5 mod for this battle and it'd be so cool as a scenario.
EVERYONE WAKE UP KOROTOS MYSTERY SHACK UPLOADED A NEW AOT OVERANALYSIS
Just started this series like a week ago and already binged to be caught up, cant wait for burrito reveal
"Neutral Jing" touched a part of my soul I thought was lost
I'm not sure about that, but as I understand in the original manga when Levi calls Beast Titan "monkey" it's written with katakana as if it weren't Japanese word. It's done to highlight that this word is foreign to him.
Finally
this series and you have been incredible!!!!
You speaking Latvian really shocked me but damn it’s good to see a fellow latvian making such awesome content!!!!!
I have never in my life noticed the tubes/burials of the soon to be titans. That's so fucking small and never mentioned it's crazy anyone saw it lmfao
Yes been waiting for this over analysis!
15:25 petty chief, chief and master chief are all ranks in the navy
I CANT WAIT!!!! Until you make it to the final season I love your over analysis
just got done your reviews for S3 part 1 of AOT. on top of binging the entire show in the span of 2-3 weeks recently. couldn't wait to finish the show because I knew I wouldn't be able to watch any of them without anything being spoiled. but I FINALLY MADE IT!!!
also which do you prefer for Erwins final words while charging the beast, sub: "my solders fight", or dub: "my solders rage"?
Why do I get the feeling that Erwins and Griffiths stories feel kinda similar in a weird way. Both are chasing their selfish dreams leading countless people to their graves. Both are seen as this smart calm and collected leaders. When faced with certain defeat both of them get a choice to either go for their dream or saving that little bit of humanity that is left in them. The more I read into it the more similarities I find. I cant be the only one..
i love your content dude seriously
Got caught up again on the series.🎉 thanks in advance for the hard work you put in.
Beast Titans red eyes, can be reasoned to be, commandimg pure titans via Paths.
When Eren used founder power to control pure titans, the controlled titans had red eyes
YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW HAPPY I WAS WHEN I SAW THIS
24:47 Armin took stealing the thunder of the titans quite literally
"Babe wake up, Korotos Mystery Shack released a new AOT overanalyzed"
I was gonna re watch AOT to understand it better. Then u showed up. Thank u for showing up
20:48
It's a cello :)
i've come to notice that spears are definitely a melee weapon that is heavily underappreciated in our modern times, it's extremely simple and rudimentary to craft even with basic materials, grants an incredible reach advantage, is very simple and intuitive to use effectively even for a novice, and can be unbelievably lethal against an unarmored target; it just often gets overlooked these days in favor of slick looking swords that slash and slice around in sweet flashy ways especially in choreographed sequences
me when this was posted right before my 15 min break
thanks for explaining what briesmonis meant before it drove me crazy, that was real of you
These videos make my day when they come out
I'm traveling, and this is gonna get me through 2 weeks of being homesick
19:39 oh I don't know why, but I never connected these two dots before 😂 What a flipping bad idea
Edit: I haven't seen season three in a long time and there's shit ton of things I've missed
I know it's a pretty obscure detail, one that may or may not even be intentional, but it makes me appreciate the composition for AoT just a bit more than I already did
15:10 zeke and peak.. ha
Zeke, Peak, a Reina, Banana
(Greens, beans, potates, tomatoes)
THANK YOU KOTORO!!
You cooked with that mjollnir analogy. Thor dressing up as Freya and "marrying" the Jotnar is basically the same thing as the marley squad posing as refugees and getting drafted into the military so that they can steal information/founder from the royal family
erwin had an amazing intuition, even in the first season he was calling out the plot and character motivations only subtly
Bro what you said about the scouts not having experience fighters in the battle is so overlooked because they had to sacrifice the experience fighters to get just enough information to fight off Zeke squad....
