I’ve been using my reckless 80l mosko motorcycle for over three years, and I’ve been using your way of doing things for two years, your way of loading the luggage is the best way to do it. Thank you for making this video!
Great vid. I run the Mosko backcountry 35’s with pannier racks. A great system for sure but I love the profile of the reckless. I think it would work well on my T7
I’m right at 50 also on my 701. I installed an auxiliary under seat fuel tank so I don’t have to carry any extra. I use Zega Pro hard panniers for long adventure trips and Kriega soft bags for more technical stuff. I use a 1 man MSR tent but probably spend half of the nights at a motel. I’m 73 and use motels more then I use to. One issue I haven’t resolved is cold water. I carry a 1 gallon bladder but the water gets so hot I can barely stand to drink it. I always carry my main water bottle plus a liter or so of store bought water also. I ditched my chair as I hardly used it. My one luxury item is a camping pillow that I haven’t used yet. I’m to the Arctic again right after the Touratech rally in WA state next month.
No not really. If someone wants to steal they can just cut it open. I mostly park in secure places or up front so I can view my gear, never had a problem yet.
This was really helpful. I’d love to know more about the quilt. I need an alternative to my space hog sleeping bag. Can you give me an exact name of the product or more details? And the bivy sounds like an alternative to a full tent in a pinch, is that right? Thanks man!
The UGQ Bandit 20 is the quilt I have. Enlightened equipment revelation 20 is a good one as well. Yes, the bivy is a nice way to just get some shelter rather than setting up a full tent. Thanks brother
How'd you like the bivy? We're on the same boat, rather go to a hotel than set up and take down camp. 🤣 Mostly due to laziness on my part also lighter packing without camp gear.
Any questions comment below.

Thats a great system as well, its tough to decide between the two systems.
i like the use of the D rings! Great idea. And yes the beaver tail is a nice feature. Have a great trip!!
Thanks Bob, I really like the beaver tail feature for me.
Looking forward to receiving my reckless 80 to use on my R1200GS Camhead. Nice vid.
Its a pretty nice system, you'll enjoy it!
That was great, just ordered my reckless 80, i also have the 30 liter duffle can that go on top? instead of the stinger.?
Yes sir, that's a good way to expand this luggage system.

I finally conceded and gave you a thumbs up. I am very generous today.
PS....any big Baja plans in the future?
Thanks for that! Im getting the itch for baja already! Im wanting to go a couple times this winter, probably in November for sure, if not sooner!
Thanks for sharing.
Good idea on the shoes - until it rains🙂

itys good for just sleeping in but a tent is better for base camping. I bought it out of laziness from setting up and tearing down a tent. Lol
What is that rain shell are you using? Looks like it packs down way better than the crap I’m using
Its a cheaper version of gore tex, Its like a $50 jacket. any cheaper version of Goretex works fine.
