Lexus are asking for nearly £4000.00 to replace unit, I got a replacement screen for £12..00 and with your help and your video completed the job in about 2 hours, Thank you

Thanks for showing the re-assembly instead of just saying “install in reverse”! Helped me figure out the installation locations of the clips I had removed and forgot where they went! Nice bro!

Great video!! Replaced mine yesterday!! Was super simple. Screen came off with ease!! Thanks for the video! Anybody who is having this issue and is thinking of taking on this task... just an FYI it’s a lot easier than it looks. Be patient when taking it out of the dash though to prevent damage to dash padding assembly! Took me about and hour to complete!! Thanks again for the vid it was very helpful!

Great work! Always nice to be able to repair rather than replace. Wow that was a lot of cables to connect up 👍
I've done this. You MUST be very careful getting the unit out and putting it back. The hidden clips on top of the air vent must be dealt with like a surgeon. Otherwise, you will tear the dash. Also, get some really narrow needlenose plyers to pull the plugs from the backside. Some are right next to each other and virtually no space between.

My digitizer has a different (longer shaped) ribbon that doesn't clip in. How do I attach it to the port.

Can you please provide a link to the exact eBay listing or seller that you purchased the replacement digitizer from? It would be much appreciated. The issue with most of the replacements is that the glass is not of the same quality as the original, and therefore makes the screen much more reflective and lacking in contrast and clarity. Your replacement looks perfect, like OEM. I'm looking to replace mine a second time with a clearer screen such as this one. Thanks!

I didn’t have a part number at the time, I just searched on eBay for the same looking digitiser with the same connector 👍

Hi install mine but the navigation doesn’t work it have all lines. When I click climate control , audio , info they all work. But the menu , navigation , destination doesn’t work.

Those this work on an 2006 is250 the dealer said you got to replace the whole radio
I believe they have the same radio unit so yes is possible to change the digitiser
After I replace the digitizer the touch screen is working but greeted by a blackout screen, any idea how to fix it

I have a question the other day I was driving my lexus is350 and the screen went off and on right away and for the next day it didn't turn on and the radio works but the screen went black ... my question is the screen broke or the whole stereo system?
It’s difficult to determine if the fault is within your screen or radio , you can only tell for sure testing the radio circuit to the screen ... sorry for not being so helpful now you probably understand this the digitiser is only the touch command part of it if it goes bad it doesn’t affect the screen functionality 👍

I bought mine on ebay it was quite tricky to find not that many available at the time...
