I'm sure Sony will come out with an upgrade at some stage, but is the world really 'busting a gut' anticipating a new improved ... yada yada model? I have an FX3 and don't see lack of a global shutter a significant downside. I think I'd be more interested with an integrated ND filter. What do others think? Global shutters seem to bring a small hit to dynamic range - is that what we really want? A key benefit of the FX3 is it's already pretty good low light sensitivity, so why go back on that? Is fixing a modest RS problem a key issue? I know it's not for me because I also have an a9iii which does overcome rolling shutter, when I need that. I use my a9iii mainly for sport stills, but it can do videography quite well too. But, base ISO is higher and dynamic range less good than with some other Sony models. Rather than yet more camera kit (I already have 3 bodies and 17 Sony lenses) I feel I need to get out more, travel, practice, generally improve my skill across multiple disciplines (eg scripting, sound and lighting) and not just keep buying ever more Sony kit.

A 12MP sensor as he states can not support 8K.

Why is everybody after promoting sony fx3? I did not find it to be so exciting. Better to opt for a sony fx6 or fx30 for budget shooters.
