one of the tightest garage rock performances i've ever seen (even compared to King Gizzard or Oh Sees). the new songs are facemelting
it feels blasphemous to say, but i enjoyed the Frankie and the Witch Fingers show i went to this year much more than i enjoyed the King Gizz show i also caught earlier this year.
I totally agree. They are absolutely on par with those bands live. The show I saw was fucking tight, and fun as fuck. Glad I got to see them in a smaller venue, but shit, they belong on a bigger stage IMO. They are a can't miss band for me now. So glad they exist!

Finally! been waiting for this for months. I've loved these guys since I randomly clicked on the "Audiotree is live" notification without knowing who was playing back when this streamed. Best random band I've discovered in 2022.
Omg same!!! I saw them at a festival in oregon called pickathon. I’ve never had more fun at a live show. I can’t get enough of these guys.

I love Frankie more than life itself
I just saw them at Levitation on October 30th and I was blown away by how sharp they are live. I mean their set sounded near identical to the studio versions and their energy on stage was amazing. They made a superfan out of me and I can't wait to see them live again. Electricide is easily one of my favorite rock songs ever!
Their drummer Nick Aguilar is gonna go down as one of the all-time greats. He has such a killer style and executes it so well

was listening to an old levitation session and WOW, Dracula Drug has improved pretty incredibly live. All members absolutely firing in this audiotree sesh. Intro is amazing.

HAWT DAMN Electricide rips! So glad I saw it live in Charleston! The little descending lead pentatonic riff in the intro, the killer drum patterns, the shredding solo and the cool drum-fill-time-signature-oo part after it, and a such a sick tempo switch to round it all out!
That lead guitar tone just slays!

so bored of every band sounding like oh sees who sound the same on every album as well. this sound is overdone man it's been the same stuff for 7 years, time to move on and explore some new sounds of psych rock.....the guitar (always an SG) strapped up high and the same delay effect on vocals and exact pronunciation and "freak outs". bleh. burnt out on this old shtick.
