It is one of the best engine bikes i have ever owned , i have ridden it for 65000 miles ( above 100000 kms ) and forget breakdowns and engine repairs, it still feels and drives like it was it was at 5000kms. Such smooth refinement and reliability! 🙋‍♂️

I was "between" bikes for about 8 years. I kinda wanted another one but didn't know which way to go. I tried to get another Yamaha BT1100, but jeez they have gone up in value. I stumbled upon the Interceptor while "following" Itchyboots on her himalayan. Saw the Interceptor, and thought, I'm having that. Got it in February and honestly haven't regretted it for 1 second, great bike.
PS, I'm 6ft 4in and it fits me. OK its no speed machine but it happily plods along at (or above) motorway speeds with loads left, in the right hand. Lots of misinformation from people who have never ridden one. Best bike for the money I've seen

Biggest tragedy is, there are no Royal Enfield dealers in the USA. This is a beautiful, classically styled, "British" standard. Simple, easy to ride, comfortable, reliable...think Triumph Bonneville, or Yamaha XS650. I hope the aftermarket supports it so you could make your own cafe racer, scrambler, bobber, chopper, etc.

@@binauppal876 Honestly i couldn't be more happy with it. I ride 30 miles every day to work and back on all sorts of roads. I do quite a lot of filtering/lane splitting and it's perfect. It's not the quickest bike in the world, you really have to be in the right gear if you want to squeeze power out of it but it's suprising capable in the twisties and it's been a great starter bike. Not enough power to get in trouble but just enough to remind me that I have a lot to learn.
It has really good fuel economy and even with the stock seat it's very comfortable. If you're planning on doing a lot of motorway/highway riding i'd probably recommend getting a little wind visor thing too.
Good luck on your direct access :)

Yep, tec bike parts cannon silencers and joint sheild with baffles removed. Factory tyres are shite that's why no confidence in corners. Also sounds like its fitted with free flow air filter and snorkel removed. Only 47 horses, feels like more eh. Sounds like you enjoyed it. Foot peg position isn't the best.

Also: Triumph uses for their flagship bike a BSA name.... (the Rocket 3 historically is a BSA motorcycle, the Triumph equivalent was named Trident back then.)
Apparently the BSA model was the cooler bike back then for Triumph to now claim that name....
So for a "retro heritage brand" they have a lot of inconsistencies in their bikes.
