And what works in that department is highly influenced by the education of the voters. Looking at US campaign spots on both sides, the US needs better education. Many of those spots are straight up propaganda, appealing to emotions, fears and tribalism. We got a bit of that over here as well in Europe, but it is not as effective. As a German as well, I can only underline what has already been said, the US has really become the laughing stock of the west and at the same time its quite scary.
