4th ability should be completely changed to some sort of susanoo style ability where you become a dragon instead of removing your armor leaving your molt there, the 2x credits should still be possible since at that point it could be a normal range ability

He needs it an yet for years DE will not give it to us...chroma deserves a rework...if only DE pablo has mercy upon us to bless chroma with his touch.

Vex Armour still has its old functionality if you take dmg as well as the new getting kills gives you the buffs in case peeps didn't know. 😀
he probably knows but since there is no need for self damage now for the buffs that part of the augment doesn't do much now
@@beegyoshi1685 I like the damage to shields giving the buff and ranged kills so you dont have to use melee
the old functionality has NOT be removed (take damage to get damage buff)
they simply added a second way of getting the damage buff. mainly because chroma players were upset that a dante or stayanax teammate gave them overguard so they couldn't get the damage buff. so you can take damage AND kill to get the buff.

Chroma's old Vex armor is still there, they just added the on-kill mechanic.
You forgot to mention the HP he gets back Scales based on power strength as well and while hunters is great gloom is a lot better with the augment because you can Get around 30 percent life steal and a slow with these together .
Oh yeah, I subsumed gloom on his 4 and he's a beast rn, using a Proboscis Cernos and Gloom with Hunters Adrenaline gives him pretty much infinite energy and constant Vex Armor. That combined with Manifold, Mystic, and Seismic bond mods on a Diriga turns it into an auto kill build.

when it comes to the Ammo of Weapons like Kuva Bramma or Kuva Zarr i found an interesting mechanic (not sure yet if it´s intended or a glitch as i haven´t seen it mentioned anywhere). If you cast Wukong's "Celestial Twin" ability it will reset your Max ammo to full. meaning if you have 50/600 Ammo it will reset the 600 back to it´s maximum. and Since for the Kuva Zarr and Kuva Bramma the current ammo IS the max ammo you will get infinite ammo as long as you keep recasting Wukong's Celestial Twin. It works with all weapons except Battery weapons. i have yet to try if it works with the Phenmor's Transformed mode (would be insane if it did work though). which would make Energized Munition pretty useless if you play Wukong (yes this is about Chroma but i thought i mention it)

He's okay, good news.
The kills to increase his vex armor buffs are only an addition not a replacement. Guardian armor will stack the buff if you arent at max yet.

Chroma is good in the right hands like other warframes .. 😢. What I'd tell others is build everything in the game and forma everything and even try get good rolls on riven for the better dispo weapons .. for one it looks like de wants to make us use variations on warframes and weapons by the new mission arcamead, plus circuit . Plus there's always a chance old weapons with high duspo get incarnons in future .. look out for sniper incarnons with secondary fire aoe .. gonna be sweet .. 😊
1 forma is all I'll ever need on my Chroma Prime, and now to use Coil Horizon for unrelated Skyrim memes lol xD

Roar, or dispensary for ultimate support, empower is a good buff if your just focused on motes too, or even pillage if your above 400% strength for full strip
Hey @NightmareFrame, I know I'm a little late to the party but I noticed if you forma the exilus slot to fit Prime Sure Footed you can replace Power Drift with Amar's Hatred. Same ability strength bonuses but replaces redundant knockdown resist with 25% armor bonus.

i think acceltra is pretty good on frost if you use his augmet witch gives you 200% cc and cd on frozen enemys

Okay. That expiration of the ability will confuse a ton of people. It’s the small details that can make a frame good or bad for someone. I’ll keep using Dante.
If they could just make it so that the vex Armor updates with the new stats and snap shots the highest would make molt augment and madurais str buff really use full
Chroma doing work wierd but nice :)
for a little more power strength without running molt augmented would be molt vigor. You get 15% less power strength, but you can proc it's full effect immediately so it pairs nicely with guardian armor.
Still needs a rework for at least the 1st and 4th ability
Just fixed up my chroma prime after I stopped using him when I bought him on release, and I made him OP asf. Also, that Augment mod is not good against higher level enemies in Steel Path, which is something that should be mentioned here you'll be one tapped with the mod on eventually and you are better off using a different mod.
Have you tried him with Exodia Contagion?
Not even a minute in and I already see a nourish being casted!
My crazy self put warcry and equipped Nepheri. The build isnt done but I'm at 292% str with arcane guardian and reaper
now for his 1st and 4th abiltiy to be buffed and reworked, and have a unique passive
im okay with his passive but it does jsut feel oof

@@noahedenborg4221 Best passive would be to give him a flat damage increase based on like 1 -3percent of the credits earned in mission thus it would scale better with his 4th could then make his 4th apply additional elemental l damage equal to 25 percent of the credits from mission and kills while active double credit drops

Does Anyone know, when he changed the Aura to Growing Power in "Munitions" Build at 12:38 Why did Different Polarity of the Aura Act like it's the Same and Not affect the capacity ? Because I don't think that's how Aura forma Works
Aura forma change the slot polarity to universal, similar to the new beginner aura mod with that swirly symbol

@@bumblebeekaiodinson331 yep, thats how it works from its release, including stance mod iirc but i could be wrong, honestly never used both
Aura forma and Stance forma change the polarity to "universal" polarity, meaning that any polarity will be "positive", however this only works on the aura slot and stance slots on warframes and melee weapons. Its more of a quality of life change more than anything.

Fun Fact: Did you know you could keep your shields untouched and use combat discipline to prime your damage by killing enemies, because it registers as self damage. (I KNOW BECAUSE I TESTED IT.)
Chroma does that at base now.
0 Forma normal Chroma + Felarx shreds content so hard. I don't know if the Devastating buff stacks good with Vex armor but im hitting for a shit load of damage.

ive tested his vex armor with melee projectiles
its like lycaths hunt melee only proc the armor EVERY melee weapon

So does it mean that fury activates from taking damage and killing enemies or by only one of those factors?

It activates when you get kills on your ranged weapon or take health damage. So both factors work and same for the armor buff, you can take damage or get melee kills

I used to play chroma when he 1st came out. Recently started playing again and tried to play him. Completely forgot how to use him. Hes not easy to use imo
Cast 2 and 3. Pretty much it.
He is just a boring tanky-ish weapon platform with only 2 "usable" abilities that are just refreshing buffs every minute.
Once you figure that out he's the opposite of complex, just "plain".

Because you can cycle between elemental ward buffs on the fly with Spectral Scream.

Yo, how do you cast vex armor at the beginning of the mission? My chroma doesn't have the means to fo that. Vex armor costs 116 energy, while i start with 105.

You could play 100x someone and still be in the wrong... or just a bad player 😆. Remember that before you try to ego check someone else
You can easily have more hours than people with higher MR. All it takes is to get addicted to some frames/weapons, and just play the game with stuff you like, while not leveling
Nah mr is not everything, some ppl prefer low mr because they comfy with their loadout and doesn't want to build another one, and you can be bad player as mr 30+

guardian armor + combat discipline is overkill just use brief respite so he can easily shield gate + rolling guard augur on 2ndaries or just brief, unairu/vazarin for oh shit button, guardian armor health damage never gonna kill you unlike combat discipline for the loadout just use weapon with multiplicative gun co " installed eclipse weapon type gooffy ah wep" for companion diriga/carrier with verglas for nuking, helstrum for cc, without set up in circuit use 1 + arcane arachne and/or holster since its also works like a weapon not a great one but works in circuit if u have a bad sets of wep
his second buff type also have some interesting mechanic
toxin element = more holster damage
cold element = armor and cold proc when enemy hit you
heat = more hp
elect = shield and electric proc when enemy hit u
since u never mod for range its pretty useless
but if de want to buff him again make 2 recastable so i can shield gate for free and maybe we can have some armor stripping in this frame (zenurik chroma prob)
I think the guardian armor deals true damage to health, correct me if im wrong but the mod is pretty dookie but the chroma buff is real good.

Saw this an was like "chroma buff"...watch the intire video...just to remember how garbage chroma is after his nerf still waiting for a proper rework and actual give him a actual identity since he no longer is a tanky damage dealer much like triburos said in his videos years ago. Why not combine elemantal ward and vex armor into 1 ability and give him a new ability with the first and last ability being change...hell give him some exalted dragon form or something and change all his abilities into duration base. That my own opinion on how to make chroma better. Now a bid farewell and good fortune knightmare frame love your content. You can run inaros solo banshee solo any frame solo but doing ok with poop doesn't make poop good it's still poop especially when rhino is better and mirage exist
He needs all 4 elements ward choices in 1 buff and vex armor needs to be a better buff keep what it has add mobility at least

Just run your primary weapon with Primary Frostbite or Primary Blight and then Chroma's buff is suddenly good when you don't build all into the same stat. Slap Creeping Terrify on your 1 for armor shred and there u go 1 shotting everything again.

Then look at a Enamy and deal 5mil damage with burstion. Hmm interesting he was just right there nvm using the energy tree for the operator what give me a free ability cast every 60 seconds... so i get free no energy needed vex armor infinity.
Having about 96 to 98% base damage reduction
