This game is so good, been playing for 12 hours straight. Cant put it down, only got to level 30 as well. This game is going to take up so much time and im all for it. In no rush to finish it
Yeah enjoy that leveling experience, because it will vanish once you realize that's all there is. And the war system, gold distribution, company, taxes, crafting and all the important stuff you're collecting to reach a goal that can't be topped by the few. It's a poorly coded system intertwined with a poorly coded game engine.
@@Haychdog65 is max. They’ve significantly increased the leveling pace from how it was on launch, however the leveling process is also much more enjoyable since then. Actual quests with purpose and story, natural exploration with the questing as well. To play for 12 hours and to only be level 30 means they were grinding trade skills as well. I’ve probably got 9 hours played and reached 27, but also leveled 3 trade skills to over 50, which their max on launch was 200
Don't feel forced to play on crossplay servers. Go for those console only servers. The PC crowd is a bitter place. You'll have a better experience on the console only servers, especially considering most people will be new to the game, too. Added boon is not having to deal with bots & hackers.
I’m on Xbox and the chat is just pc players saying console peasants and then whining it’s on console now. It’s a fun game. Whoever’s actually upset this is on console now can go touch grass cause it effects your life in no way 😂

10k hours combined in all MMO's you can find and GW2 is a Nr.1 without any doubt and New World might even be Nr.1 in terms of Graphics and ''Feel'' in the game for the first couple hundreds hours so for some People it might be great to just play a little and forget about it.But if we talking about Real Players New World is a Cake of the Video Games which means you feel really sick after playing this Sweet Looking game for little more because there is nothing to it except how it looks.
The MANUFACTURER of the GPU admitted it was their fault. The game devs did add a FPS cap to avoid the issue in general, about a week later. I personally cap my FPS on any GPU/PC because I am not an idiot (though the fault does ultimately belong to the manufacturers if they do not add a FPS or clock limit internally to any GPU).
If you treat it like a single player game and rake up hundreds of hours doing the main story and all the side content, shouldn't that be enough? The only people i am seeing that are bothered are the hardcore mmo crowd.
Apart from swimming and adding in a few new cutscenes has anything actually changed ? have they added a bunch of new content especially late game as there was none before with the exception of pvp and dungeons

I am sorry but if the worst thing about the game is that there is very little to do at "endgame" then the game must be really good in general. Imagine playing and enjoying the game for hundreds of hours and then complaining that there is nothing to do lol. To me a game has a beginning and an end. This is not a "forever" game. Ive been waiting for the ultimate MMO on console. Like WoW classic on console for example if they would use controller trigger/button combos for skill slots. Final Fantasy 14 came close but still not as great as the OG wow classic goat

Can anyone tell me how it runs on Series S? Only info I can find ia from the beta and some guy saying it looks horrible and runs bad laster in the game. I am not too bothered about graphics, I am almost 50 and grew up with real bad graphics but i need to know if it runs smooth throughout.
I ended up buying it anyway, and while the graphics are nowhere near as good as PC once you get into the game you stop worrying about that. The gameplay is fun and while it usually isn't true 60fps it runs well enough where it isn't am issue. It feels like and average 45-50 fps and while sometimes in busy areas it may did to about 30 it has not dropped so low to negatively impact gameplay. So yes, it feels more like an Xbox One title to look at, but for such a big game it runs decent on such limited hardware.
Is the controller lock on super overpowered in PvP? That's kind of gamebreaking for me if so since PvP is my main form of endgame content in MMOs usually.

Played a year ago, had enough fun as a solo player when leveling. ..but unless things have changed, end game was pure trash for solo players. Also, if you didn't buy the DLC, you still don't get all the content in the "update", meaning no mounts...so if you only owned the base game, still not worth returning for.

Not really. It is (or was) okay if you are a solo pve player for leveling to max level, but the end game is really just pvp and awful group content. Also I'd wait for the price to drop significantly if you do want it. It's outrageously overpriced now.
BS. ... All endgame, needed stuff and drops need group/guild. And all crafting aare limit from endgame item level, because you need items for Max level and res. You never get without a guild/group. Beside everything else, that is lockd behind guilds/groups.
It is not a new game, except to consoles. PC players have had to deal with AGS missteps with the MMO for years now. The sad thing is with this 're-branding' they basically chose to ignore the PC players to chase the console money. I would suggest caution before getting too involved with this studio and game.

have a level 60 toon on new world. never bothered with the expansion as the game was dead to me. i hear its better. but I wont go back its still dead to me. it took them way too long to fix it
This game is 4 years old. After 4000 hours in New World, you won't see me playing the game. Don't get me wrong, the game is alright and there is fun to be had, but the managing team is by far the worst I have ever seen. Rebranding the game as an Action RPG is nothing but bullshit marketing in order to trick people like it's a new game, but it's still the same game with little to no real endgame, unless you like doing 5 man dungeon that you can clear in 15 minutes or the infamous "chest run", but that's why they no longer call it an MMO I guess.

But when I see then comments that are like, “I have 4,000 hours in the game and will never return” it just tells me (and others) that the game is definitely worth it. It started as a $40 game and with Angry Earth it’s $70. I lived and breathed Halo 3 back in the day, one of my favorite games ever, and I MIGHT have hit 4,000 hours. Of course you’ve drained the game for all it’s worth if you don’t include just having “social” time with friends in the game which is why a lot of us play it, and is the gift that keeps on giving and keeps folks logging in who like the game. Ending this comment where I started it, 4,000 hours is an incredible amount of time, and only tells me it’s worth it. That’s like 1.5 penny’s per hour if you have the $70 game with Angry Earth. Well worth the money.

Yea I take them from time to time when I think the product is good and or at least legit (I turn down 95% of the offers that come my way though). This is my full time job. If you ever want your Friendly Skies Podcast to be able to be an actual business that supports you and others you will need to learn! A podcast on its own isn't likely to generate enough revenue unless you don't mind asking people for money (patreon etc) I personally don't feel comfortable asking for money from people though so I mostly monetize off of ad revenue / sponsorships when a decent one comes around.

IIRC, that was only one type of GPU, and yes, it was fixed a long, long time ago.

I play sinds 2015 the Elder scrolls online but now sinds yesterday i play New World Aeternum on my xbox and i say the game is very good.

No they nerfed it. You lose the lock at a certain point when the target moves.
