I put in 3 complaints about my upstairs neighbour in the space of about 5 weeks. We had a fire alarm go off and I exit my apartment just as she's coming down the stairs and passing my door. And I swear the look she gave me, it was this evil smile. These people genuinely don't give a shit and it's infuriating 😮💨

Ugh, I’m sorry. I have been using white noise and the sound of heavy rain to try and muffle it. Doesn’t always work. What did work was taking a large, heavy table leg and banging back. It’s been so quiet the past couple weeks. I still want to move, tho.
Or a 4lb medicine ball that has the sand in it. It's loud! That's what I have. Only used it twice, but i should be using it everyday to be honest. I'm just more of a considerate person.

I've already asked them more than once and even played a game loudly which they immediately got mad about the sound and smashed on the walls and when i went to talk to them they for the life of them could not understand how loud they were being. They've stayed in for 3 days straight! They NEVER go outside. They all leave on the weekend for however many hours. I've been off for a month and a half so I know their schedule. When the woman worked the guy would leave, at least, twice during the day with the loud little girl. I've also lived under an entitled woman that had 3 big kids? And a couple that played their loud surround sound and loved to have loud family over often. I'm tired of it so I'm finally moving at the end of the year.

A quick patch job then it’s rented. The floors have no insulation and cheaply done. No carpet. It’s unbearable and a 3 bedroom should not be above a one bedroom. My lease not up for 3 months. I hate myself for not being able to afford a house of my own. Peace and quiet is priceless. Of course some people think we are over exaggerating the noisy neighbors because they live in a quiet home.

I'm in a one bedroom, so it's not too bad. A two bedroom apt has a monthly water bill of $115+(it fluctuates monthly), on top of the gas and electricity, internet and trash. And that's why most of the people who move in get roommates because they can't afford it alone. The last guy who lived upstairs wasn't noisy until his girlfriend moved in. I'm the only 1 bedroom in my section and everyone has multiple people living with them. But I don't have a problem with anyone except the couple above me.

There should be a law that between every floor and room you need to have 14 centimeters of rockwool in your ceiling and wall for sound insulation. There should also be a law that every human being has a right to their own house with at least 14 meters distance to any next house. Apartment buildings can be nice... In movies.

They only gone down to semi loud they're still dropping down heavy objects and slamming around & domestic violence and child abuse which i caught the noises on camera & police came and will be posted soon on my next video I'm putting together while i wait. Even with all the proof i have i am so confused to why they chose to not relocate them or evict them whether then having to pay me a refund for the years i've dealt with this. So i hope for ur sake your landlords are good and do something when it eventually becomes to much for you

If apartments were constructed properly with good sound insulation this wouldn't be a problem in most cases. But unfortunately builders are greedy and only care about cost-cutting and profit rather than building comfortable homes for people.
Sounds like my upstairs neighbors day and night wish I had the money to move but I don’t they stomp yell scream till 2-3 am on the weekend and during the week till 1-2 am they have loud obnoxious parties every weekend and don’t give a fuck me and my bf are quiet neighbours these pricks make our lives a living hell and to top it off their dog sometimes barks in the middle of the night too when we’re trying to sleep they just have no respect or consideration for anyone else once we save the money we are moving asap

Eventually the light dome rattled off the ceiling and crashed into a million pieces. So I sent pictures of that and these videos to my management and it has gotten better. Still some bad times, but they are short term

My complex has made a family move before and will also not allow you to renew your lease. But multiple people have to complain and it's hard for management to do anything when it's noisy kids. They are protected.

@@sparklelee5948 I'm so sorry you're going through that! The housing association has several options for people who want to become homeowners. They helped me figure out which option was right for me. They can look at your finances and help you work on a plan to get your credit right. To help with the noise in the meantime I used white noise, like rain. And noise canceling ear buds. Hope you can get to a nice quiet place soon!

Sounds like my upstairs neighbors day and night wish I had the money to move but I don’t they stomp yell scream till 2-3 am on the weekend and during the week till 1-2 am they have loud obnoxious parties every weekend and don’t give a fuck me and my bf are quiet neighbours these pricks make our lives a living hell and to top it off their dog sometimes barks in the middle of the night too when we’re trying to sleep they just have no respect or consideration for anyone else once we save the money we are moving asap

What did you do about it?
I sent my managers these videos and it has quieted down somewhat. At least after 10 it is finally quiet.

Eventually the light dome rattled off the ceiling and crashed into a million pieces. So I sent pictures of that and these videos to my management and it has gotten better. Still some bad times, but they are short term
I also discovered ASMR and I use white, green and brown noise for sleep

@@hollyyoung3450They should have made them move to the 1st floor when that happened. I was hoping my ceiling fan fell down when the lady with her 3 kids lived above me. My complex has made a family move before and will also not allow you to renew your lease. But multiple people have to complain and it's hard for management to do anything when it's noisy kids. They are protected.
What can I do about this
Well when my usual verbal reporting didn’t help, I recorded it and put it on RUclips. I also consulted my local housing partnership and developed a plan to get myself a house. It took 4 years but now I’m a home owner and no more loud upstairs neighbors…

I am in the same situation currently my neighbors are so loud that photos shift on my walls and popcorn Falls from my ceiling I have sent videos and soundbites to the office they finally agreed to let me out of my lease with a 60-day. I'm currently in the process of looking for a house and it's been very hard to find one, exhausting and expensive...and it's to the point where it's so bad that I'm actually thinking about just renting. And I know they have never lost any sleep behind me and I think its so unfair that I have to move. And they were allowed to renew their lease again! Could you explain how the housing association helped you? I literally cry everyday and these ppl do not care
@@sparklelee5948 I'm so sorry you're going through that! The housing association has several options for people who want to become homeowners. They helped me figure out which option was right for me. They can look at your finances and help you work on a plan to get your credit right. To help with the noise in the meantime I used white noise, like rain. And noise canceling ear buds. Hope you can get to a nice quiet place soon!
