But does the United Kingdom have clean burning American propane?
Neither propane, nor propane accesories!
James Santiago Shame.
Hank Hill I can't believe you are the first Hank Hill on youtube
They should start I tell ya hwhat
This is asinine!
It's all about fusion.
Nothing quite like an American Les Paul through a British Marshall.
Could not agree more
ManlyChicken American PRS and marshall too
I agree
Andrew Fackenthall or tele
ManlyChicken you said it all !!!!
"What guitar are you comfortable with? Have you played a Music Man? No? Okay that's what we'll go with!" This dude...
8 years later he's a musicman signature artist, it all started here
@@sayl3ss_663 I'm rewatching this video and I'm like "huh..." XD
“Are you gonna claim Jimi Hendrix as well?”
“I don’t know if I can claim Jimi Hendrix.”
*The 18th Century has entered the chat.*
We can claim his band..
I feel like team USA wasted their rig
I was thinking the same. Gibson, Fender, PRS through Mesa or Fender would have been massive.
+zachisebi totally agree, a PRS through a Mesa could have destroyed that Marshall in a second, and that Vox pedal just sounded awful btw.
The Music Man was a fine choice, they really are some great guitars. The Majesty Amps are nice, but they are boutique pieces, they definitely should have went with a Mesa or Bassbreaker
yeah. not that there is anything wrong with their choices in a vacuum, because that is a nice guitar and a nice amp. But the dude is like, "I want to crush them with badassery!!!" and the other guy is like, "okay, here, try this blues rock set up!"
EvinKieransMusic I saw Rabea picking an American rig and thought something along the lines of a PRS Custom through a Peavey or EVH 5150 style amp. Especially after wanting to crush them. I dig the rig, but Rabea is like my favourite guitarist on RUclips and it felt weird seeing something that wasn't his in your face metal stuff.
This American guy is a total sales person
+That Skinny White Guy he does own a massive guitar store XD
vigilante bird yea. joe's very good. wanted to point that out too.
"What are you comfortable playing?"
"PRS, Schecter, Gibson..."
"What about Music Man?"
"No not really"
"Thats what youre playing"
Thank you hugh jass
U r a hugh jass
He said he's never played a Music Man not that's he's not comfortable
If you watch a ton of these videos, you’ll learn that everyone at Andersons finds the neck of the Music Man guitars awkwardly thick.
They have an unlimited budget and they pick a music man and tone king ???
ProjectRecon1 Music man is excellent, John fucking Petrucci uses them as well, the amp is good but definitely debatable
The overall rig didn't have as much cohesion as the UK setup, but there is nothing wrong with musicman guitars, their basses are amazing too.
They were limited to what was in the store.
Can't go wrong with a les paul and a fender twin reverb
@@blackassasin175 I was thinking that too. If Petrucci uses them, they must be pretty damn good (and as a Dream Theater fan I absolutely love his playing).
Let's be honest... american guitar with british amp is the beast of all guitar set ups
Fender Amps...
Phillip Robinson Mesa boogie is better than fender, imo. Pretty expensive though....
or Japanese guitars.......
Eggle thro' a 5150?
Definitely agree
The woman at 7:22 is there to buy a Gibson Flying V for herself, because that's what she needs to take her rocking to the next level. Her rocking ability has far surpassed the Squier Strat that she's been practicing on for 11 years, so now it's time to Flying V 4life. Everyone at bridge club after bingo night is gonna be floored by how hard she's able to rock with her new Flying V.
Yeah, I wondered what the heck she was doing there! Probably buying her grandson his birthday present...
best comment ever
Anraj Plahe In every planet in the milky way and beyond for making such condescending misogynistic comments towards a WOMAN whom he knows nothing about for picking up a flying-V. For all I know, she is very likely to out-shred him. Is the concept too complex to understand?

"I am NOT jet lagged" Chooses a Tone king and a Music Man.
Since im from us id choose marshall and gibson maybe add a wah for the hell with it
@@assfart5599 Marshall are british
@@Soulman786- his username doesn't inspire confidence in him having a wealth of knowledge lol.
@@dw22509 wait is it a sin to use a music man and tone king I’m confused
Ikr I said the same shit when you know they gonna pick the Marshall jcm 800
"If we go for something on the other end of the spectrum we'll sound weak in comparison"
*puts a 40w 1x12 combo against a 100w head into a fucking 4x12*
7:00 Anyone else expect that old lady to start shredding behind them.
+Shaun Masterton Check out legendary studio bass player Carol Kaye! Last seen she could still shred up a bass like a young pup!
kinda XD
+Mateus Marques She's all about that near-death metal...don't feel bad about bad jokes; they're the best!
tip of the cap to these 2 jokes made me spit out me brandy
Why wouldn't he have chosen a Mesa half stack to compete better with the Marshall stack?
Too obvious and too close.
Steve L or a 5150 half stack
Either would've done amazing
I mean, the Tone King actually sounds better (especially on the rhythms). The Marshall is classic and going to be much louder ... but tone-wise ... that little set up sounds sick! Though I am not a fan of the music man esthetics, they play and sound great
because joe said so
From not having played a Music Man to being a signature artist 😍🤩 How times change! Incredible player!
Why the hell didn't they go with a Boogie? A rectifier is stupid versatile and can crush damn near anything
arguably better than a jcm all day long
my thoughts, precisely
here i am, trying me damned-est not to peek back and forth at this viddy and my LP+5/50+dualrecto rig while chuckling spasmodically
I agree that rectos are good amps but marshall is still king of all amps
I agree personally ill never use mesa because im a jtm 45 man. But youve seen the boogies in ever genre using one would of done them justice
UK has won hands down. I'm not biased. Now I will watch the video!
***** The uk rig won for me but I did think 2299 pounds for the usa combo and they stuck a tube screamer in front of it? fuck that, and 1 12" speaker against a marshall 4x12 combo? No chance! It sounded really thin.
***** For rock sound, I think usa I would go for Gibson LP and maybe a nice mesa boogie amp and 4x12 cab.
If Im wrong about the boogie then someone is going to correct me. Bare knuckles for me dude, the bassman is grate. And as for that music man??????? no fucking way
spartanworria Mesa Boogie amps are handmade in Petaluma, CA USA.
Mesa it is then
I could practically see the hope of winning drain from Rabea's eyes with each gear selection Joe made.
Should've gotten with a PRS Custom 24 and a Mesa Mark V half stack just to keep things even because a 45-watt combo versus a JCM800 with a 4x12 is a losing battle any day of the week.
I enjoy watching you Brits, you guys rock! Happy New Year from Indiana, USA I thought it was fun. You guys are both good players. Rob is freaking awesome and is an inspiration to my playing. Thanks for the fun videos !
Couldn't take my eyes off that beautiful PRS behind them!
Blue, bluue, to blu
I was really hoping Rabea would pick a PRS.
Really? a music man and tone king when u could take a Gibson Custom Shop 1959 and a Mesa Mark V?
exactly.
Music man guitars are light years ahead of Gibson. $2000 musicmans in the stores are simply vastly better in every regard than Gib standards. If you want a good Gibson, you have to pay much higher than any musicmans price. And for $5000, really, every luthier in the world can make you a dream guitar.
Spot on.
I agree
My thoughts exactly
This is an easy answer: American Guitar, British Amp. Done.
Les Paul, Marshall. Done. You're Welcome. Now I will watch the video.
Update: I tried to watch but couldn't make it through this annoying crap. I wouldn't play in a band with that insufferable TWAT with the bald head and dreads combo if we were GUARANTEED superstardom.
Ndeed. Les paul. Marshall.
I've also been into and played SGs just not quite as much as Les Pauls. But I always used a Marshall.
american guys can destroy UK gear.. Mesa Boogie Fender Cmon the best gear its just american
exactly...Les Paul and Marshall are like lovers from the past life..... ;-)
"we can choose from just about anything"
*Chooses a Musicman*
Love your videos !
Bea is a f*****genius.....maaaan i love his playing
Agreed. He's an extremely good guitarist.
Peterkr10 Chappers isnt too shabby either tho
He definitely Rocks !!!
American guitar (Gibson, Fender, Ibanez) through British amp (Marshall, Vox, Blackstar) and you can't go wrong.
SamBrev Ibanez isn't American, it's Japanese
Nathan Lam really? That surprises me... anyway, thanks for the correction
no problem
Nathan Lam I read on another forum that the more expensive Ibanez has American wood, hardware and pickups on it. Guess it's more hybrid Japanese / American guitar then, or certain types.
+SamBrev i was going to say. for guitars. Gibson and fender are phenominal, but i was hoping your 3rd choice is not ibanez? christ lol, replace that with PRS, or ESP, i would play a shector over ibanez, i will never play an ibanez, after you own a gibson les paul, i own a marshall jcm 2000 but i never use it, i love my fender 65 reissue tube amp, however, on my pedal board i love my HT dual distortion pedal by blackstar, so i have a british valve distortion pedal going into an american clean tone amp, sounds so good, it sounds like gold mixed with diamonds.
What the hell? u have gibson fender prs and u choose a musicman
Jay's Aquariums Yeah, that was weird. Now if this was a bass challenge then MusicMan would've been a good choice, but for guitar it's just random.
Well. A lot of musician's trust music man and their guitars. Especially the Steve Morse signature and John Petrucci's Majesty are looking very interesting and at the same time versatile.
But I haven't played one of the high end models myself yet. There are really something you won't find in every store.
Honestly, if they would have picked a JP signature model Music Man, it would have been a no contest for me. But, yea that MM just not all that. Lol
Jay's Aquariums you definitely dont know Music Man if you are saying its a bad pick. Givson is good, PRS is Good, Music Man is good. they're all good.
The Albert Lee musicman is amazing. And, they have amazing basses.
It's so funny. It's like watching musician's Top Gear :D
UK rig wins in my opinion, but the best rig is an American guitar through American pedals into a British amp. It's a synergy thing.
exactly
PRS or Schector thru fulltone or wampler into a Bogner or Mesa boogie, would have been more of a better match up.
Joe Leach is a Bass player who may not have the best idea of best guitar rig set up, no offense, but I would not know how to select the best drum gear or bass gear.
As Lee said, we're better together.
You mean like a Les Paul through a VOX AC30? haha
zach snider I was thinking a Les Paul through Orange, but why not?
Of all the American guitars to choose from, they picked a Music Man...
have you ever played or owned an American made music man guitar? they are phenomenal instruments
+Matt Bowen Music Man is an excellent guitar...what's the problem?
Not saying that the Music Man is a bad guitar or that the tone King is a bad amp, but I agree. Surely if you're going for an iconic American rig, you go Gibson or fender and use something other than tone king like a boogie or a fender
+Omar Jordan Gibson is no where near the most superior the guitar in the world dude lol
***** But surely if they want to win, they'd pick gear that would overpower their opponents
They were both outstanding amp and guitars...And guitarists!
Both sounds went really well together. Definitely better together!
How do I rate the American setup 1-10? 1776
Yup
I rate UK set up 2016 (year of the Trump!)
nice one USA USA
Harry Howlett they lost tho and in 1776
Best comment
I love the concept of this video it was such a pleasure to watch :)
Thank you sir ;-)
Bump. I loved it too!!!!!
Rob Chapman It would be hell if you did a video with UK Gear vs Swedish Gear... The only swedish guitar brand I can think of is Hagström! xD
+Coolspy Gaming i think that woodo guitars can count as swedish as well, they are as swedish as chapman is british, i.e they are specced here and produced in korea.
+Coolspy Gaming they are beautiful guitars btw, checl them out! All wood finishes, fully specced, around $1000, (7000-9000 kr)
I've just recently gotten into these Anderton's/Champman videos and all I've ever seen is the "normal looking" Rob... I wasn't ready for Dreadlocked Chappers! lol
they are having so much fun :D
US guitars are better
UK amps kick our ass
Fender amps are pretty good. So are Mesa boogies. Panama amps are great quality as well.
Yeah, I like Gibson, Fender and Guild for guitars and Marshal Amps but also Fender amps.
Unfortunately they do . I have a blackstar amp .but for America I have a fender squire !
cant think of a single decent english guitar brand, I aggree british amps are better but theres still fender amps, mesa boogie, and a few others....merika wins again.
I would like to say, for the record, Revv Generator is by far the best amp I have ever heard and can cover any genre. Randall and Mesa and Krank are insane amps too.
really didn't enjoy the joe dude in this vid. just me?
JdoGaming not just you, I didn't like him much
Naa I get what you mean he was a bit forced
Kind of rude
it's just you
William Allison Absolutely! Dude was just as friendly and funny as the Brits
This video is awesome showcasing legendary and awesome products from there respective country of origin. But the real magic happens when you unite the greatness from both sides. Then you definitely have a force to be reckoned with lol
Omg Robs sound was godly.... the first time he plays that setup wow.... Rabea sounded amazing too, just wow on that tone...
I'll assume before I get into this video that USA wins for guitar and UK wins for amplification.
yea uk amps rocks
+Colin Phan lol I'm from the US and own a UK amp. Ironically.
+Richard Martinez well it's always been like that lol
+Colin Phan truth. Rock on friend!!
Richard Martinez yep
You had Gibson, Fender, PRS (USA), yet you've picked a fucking Music man...
yeah man, they should have chosen Epiphone!
+oogaw lol I'm dying hahahahaha
+Ali Rafiei Obviously, you're not familiar with Music Man guitars.Comparing a Music Man to an Epiphone is like comparing PRS to Squier.
+Ali Rafiei Music man and Epiphone. Seriously??? Lol obviously he should have gotten the Epiphone! Cant stop laughihg!!! AHahahahaha XD
+Ali Rafiei surprised they didn't go with a Squier Affinity tbh...
killer tone from both set ups.
I would love to see some comparisons with other country's rigs - like Engl Amp & Rickenbacker for Germany and so on and so forth
I like to think the granny at 7:21 is shopping for a V.
Lennart N And a full stack Marshall
And the winner in the end... is friendship! :D
Rob 'Buying the gear would Empty his pockets' making him get to the venue much faster!! lmao :')
I kind of want to see an updated version of this video but with actual budgets in place. I'd love to see a Fender vs Marshall amp contest using whatever Marshall you want against the Bassbreaker and then bring on your current Chapman guitar line against any number of awesome American guitars (I personally would've gone for a PRS but the sky's the limit when it comes to guitars). As for budget, you could keep it reasonable to the Sounds Like tune of 1500 imperial credits of the realm or go nuts with no budget but maybe a bit more focus. I'd like to see rigs that are close in dollar amount to each other but are extremely versatile and have actual people come in and judge the winner under set criteria that are known before they choose their rigs.
Erm....Aren't Chapman guitars made in Korea?
yeppers
***** So if I import a guitar from China, that makes it British?
If the company is owned by a British person. That makes it British. Doesn't matter were it is made
They're made in Korea but it's a British company, Epiphones are now made in China but it's still an American company.
Preachin' to the choir bubba. Most everything is made in Asia now.
I can tell that Rabea does not like Joe from his facial expressions.
Rabea's facial expressions are always odd. You know when he's really LOVING a tone from the grimace of disgust on his face. He's sort of the exact opposite of what you'd expect.
Richard Harrold excellent
joe is a dick
he doesn't listen to rabea at all, and he takes all the spotlight and
doesn't share it. he's the stereotypical loud, selfish, and arrognt
american.
also he picked a fucking musicman.
he had fender AND gibson. what the actual fuck is wrong with that man
Blaz Pogacnik the "arrogant American" is most definitely not something an American would joke about.
Those Tone Kings sound really nice.
both rigs were too awesome, the tones were out of this world! of course, the players make a difference too,, bea and rob, both top notch guitarists!
God, the american accent sounds so military when juxtaposed with the english one
in all honesty, I think they could of done way better in picking the American rig, nothing against that guitar or amp, but for a good American rock tone, you can't beat a Gibson or PRS or a fender into a Mesa dual rec
I suppose it's each to their own but I don't know how you could not pick a Gibson for the American guitar
Jevenz _91 Rabea isn't the biggest Gibson fan.
I'd go PRS or Jackson. Personally I hate Gibson.
I'd also go with a Randall Satan amp.
PRS>Gibson
Why? Gibson is good, if you can afford one.
And PRS is way better for way less. Gibsons are as overrated as they come. They have nice necks, but Les Pauls are horribly uncomfortable to play in most positions (no tummy cut), the neck joint is crap (not that PRS is better, to be fair), they're heavy, and nowhere near worth the amount of money they cost.
U guys are havin way too much fun, must be the jmc 8oo .
PRS through a Mesa boogie anyone?
I've never used either but it sounds sexy as shit
+Daniel Davidson That is exactly what Mark Tremonti uses
+StickellsPlaysNow or jackson thru mesa like mark morton
BattleRapBlog Honestly, I wouldnt even compare them. PRS is so far ahead of Jackson in terms of craftsmanship and playability and overall feel. I was a jackson player for a few years. Solid guitars, but right now PRS is producing better guitars than Gibson in my opinion.
yes agreed. and the finishes are incredible
To be honest that lead on the US national anthem destroyed the UK rig...
In your opinion...
Thomas the Baws neither am I :)
I agree, although the young chap on the British rig sounded as smooth as a stick of butter, that little Tone King sounded like a tub of butter, Fat, and thick like most Americans... Both rigs ruled!!
Rob Chapman
hahaha
That's because Marshall doesn't build to the quality of their reputation. Want a good Marshall? Spend the money and get a boutique clone.
Honestly, I'd be over the moon to have either rig.
Jcm800 2203 ! my dream amp! the lead tone which comes out of that amp is hooooottt and orgasmic!
I had so, so much fun hanging out with these guys!
As a Brit I know that there are many things that the British simply do better than the Yanks. But when it comes to guitars I should - nae must - give a hats off to the states. USA vs UK when it comes to guitars = a USA victory. We make the best amps though, hands down.
As an American that owns a schecter guitar and an orange amp, I completely agree
I agree with you, but Mesa is an exception. I've recently been converted, and will be trading (reluctantly) in my trusty ac30. Side note, aren't Manson guitars British?
Rance Hamilton I believe so yeah. They're based in Exeter, England i think.
And yes, Mesa is an exception.
USA UK TEAMWORK *epic jump and the two countries high five*
UK sucks go USA
Ibanez is japanese, right?
Yes
Yes
Yes and no. It started as a Spanish brand. A company in Japan set up a marketing campaign for them then over time they just bought out ibanez and thus making it Japanese
That's what I was thinking about throughout the entire video 😂
No difference then chapman , they aren't made in U.K.
They are made Indonesia, and before that korea. Designed by ,Rob a Brit.
But, does that really count.
holy shit i loved the outtro track x,D To me that tone was fucking awesome! I would love to know what amp and guitar it was made with??
Joe went with some weird picks.. after they brought in the JCM 800 I thought they were gonna bring in a Mesa rig and a Gibby or PRS or something for the sake of one-upmanship
Using a little combo against a Marshall head and 4x12 cab is like using a plastic ruler against a guy with a sword.
Well, well. well... this could be an add for a PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUCEMENT of how to bring together the music of brothers though you(s) both have your own A-Parent Companies... lol. With the Wah-Wah peddle, it at one time did sound as though I might be going back in time to HENDRIX and yet when U.S.A. played, it had the sharpness of a Metallica Metal sound bringing me back there to riminess. Considering both hit the Cockles and heart and soul of Music so fondly, I'd have to say it was a tie!!! Thanks for the FUN U(K)SA , loved it! But You(s) (NAILED IT/SMASH HIT IT) !
I love that Tone King Majesty... Can't afford it of course, but I love the sound.
Purely in terms of patriotism, the British rig all the way. :-)
HAHAHAH XD
ha ha ha ha ;-)
As an American, I enjoyed the British rig more. The Tone King sounded a bit too bright for my tastes.
favoritetisim
Rob Chapman I am from New York but I must say that the British Rig was far better of a choice overall, including sound and dollar for dollar, even though money was no option, there could have been better choices for the American rig- personal preference-
For me the UK rig sounded best XD
Weah but rob cheated ,look closely he used seymour duncan pickups which are made in the usa
+mathieu bouchard yeah, his whole guitar is made somewhere in asia
+mathieu bouchard It had to be an ENGLISH brand and NON USA. Chapman is an English brand and technically the guitar hardware wasn't restricted. It only had to be an English brand and non-American.
The black face fender is untouched for a clean sound
You should bring this back!
Not sure why team US didn't go with something like a nice PRS or upper level Gibson with a Mesa Boogie head...Would've been much better than what they used.
I'm not sure Riff City carries PRS guitars....maybe thats why...either way, their choice was awesome and creative...
They weren't at Riff City. They were at Anderton's. Did you not notice the several PRSes on the wall of the room they did the battle in?
Fair enough. But to that argument, Marshall (and Orange) was the obvious choice for the UK team's amp. And honestly, I'd say Fender would be a more obvious choice than PRS.
drdoom8793 yes...but the owner for Riff City was picking out the US rig...why would he pick out a guitar that he can't sell...If you notice the amp that he picked out is a vendor that is coming to Riff City. Basic business...I would do the same.
Because you can see a thousand of those on RUclips. When was the last time you saw a MusicMan vid? Plus Riff City stocks them.
That music man sounded weak. PRS or fender strat would represent the USA better.
Was it the guitar or the amp combo? The amp combo had a 1X12 speaker.
nah, that was the amp. Why they picked a weak ass tone king amp, I just wont understand.
They should of setup a blues rig. You just cannot beat a jcm800 if your going for a rock setup. As soon as they saw that jcm they should of approached it completely different.
Mitchell Eyles mesa boogie?
Vs a Marshall for rock???? Maybe metal but not rock.
Hit record producers would choose both, sonically they work so well together
Awesome
Beatles had at least one hard rock/metal song.... Helter skelter.
+chris Bryson revolution kinda falls under that relm? was that lennon on his own? so does that count?
+Anthony Galbo Let's not forget I want you (She's so Heavy)
+Anthony Galbo That's Beatles. White album.
And day tripper
MouseTER Good shout!
I would have done a PRS through a Mesa Boogie but that was a fun video. Side Note: The Chapman guitar held up really well.
All great stuff! I like my Friedman which would be a good comparison for the Marshall. As a pool Player after a 9 year drought. We took back the Mosconi cup. Love seeing the great sportsmanship Europeans exhibit! Cheers
the best sounds come from a combination. usually an American guitar plugged into British amps does me great! Although I have been drooling over some of those Chapman guitars it might end up totally British on my rig (except pedals, i still love my boss metal zone and my Dunlop wahs).
They both chose wrong. The correct amps would have been a Marshall top with an Orange cab, and a triple rec into a Boogie cab! Also I think Ibanez and LTD are Japanese guitar companies.
You are wrong.
Ibanez is Japanese by Hoshino Gakki.
Have you not heard of M.I.J?
Ltd is also japanese by Hisatake Shibuya.
Jamie Lofts I have never heard of M.I.J, and that's what I said, Ibanez and Ltd are japanese.
LeafBucket MIJ= Made in Japan.
pilotamurorei both esp and ibanez are Japanese companies, they are not just made in Japan the companies were founded in Japan and based out of japan
Well, probably more like a Mesa Roadster or Road King, but yeah, Mesa products all the way. And if he wanted the gigging thing, they should've gone with a King Snake or the Mark V, all with a PRS custom 24.
Aren't those Seymour Duncan in that Chapman? Isn't that an American brand of pickup? :P
Lol loopholes
Jonny Dark I was thinking the same, but I also thought that the Keeley Tube Screamer is Japanese made by Ibanez that Keeley modded, so they both cheated or, bent the rules a little, ha, ha!!!
George Kollaros the funny thing is they said LTD was american but those are Japanese too XD
Jonny Dark You're thinking of Seymour Butts :)
DayCMeTro11in Gaming ye but there now owned by an american the same guy who owns schecter
No Rob, you're holding a Cort that you crayoned a picture of and sent over lol
They both sounded great honestly.... But I would have liked to have heard that Fender 20th anniversary Vibro-King that you reviewed in this video....... Sounds like it would keep up with the half stack.
How about an Axis Vs. Allies showdown German and Japanese gear vs American British gear. Would be interesting. I thought the American rig had clearer definition on the top end. So I would pick that. overall but for some sounds I would like the British rig.
Sounds highly politically correct
In general terms the U.S. tone is clean and the British tone is crunch.
As far as the Axis and Allies twist I'd go with Ibenez Iceman in an Engl Powerball II with Engl 4x12 cabinet vs a PRS 513 in a Vox AC30 combo.
That'd be awesome. You'd see stuff like Warwick/ESP and Hughes & Kettner go up against Gibson and Marshall.
They really should review more ENGL stuff.
nowdays EVERYTHING COMES FROM CHINA !! ;-D
To these American ears, Rob ran away with this one. You just can't go wrong with a classic Marshall stack. I'd love to hear the MM through that.
Im watching this video years from its release and I miss this intro even more.
How bout that intro...shots fired.
I woulda went with Chapman and Orange or British, and Gibson with Mesa for American.
Drop Gibson for Music Man or PRS.
If it was my own personal money I'd have a ESP loaded with emg and a Mesa boogie
esp= japan
RoyMach1ne So.... which one does ESP fit under? UK or US?
sorry
Gibson LP + Marshall = Eargasmic sound
These guys are proof that loud music warps your mind, and the world is the better for it!
You British people really know how to make an amp sound amazing for all applications
Englishman here, US sounded better to me. but I would have picked a vox for my amp, sooo I guess I like it a bit lighter in general
I Agree. Vox amps & Telecaster guitars. They were made for each other.
Weraisedstupidkids I just traded my road worn strat in on an Epiphone es339 pro p90 and it is absolutely amazing through my vox ac15c1 in British racing green. (I also use an American standard strat and Gibson les Paul studio vg with 57 classics and they sound great as well. The strat has noisless it's a 07)
love a 339, just keep that bit of hollowness in case I wake up one day and I'm johnny marr
UK certainly is the place you want to go for amp choices and the US for guitars. I do love the USA rig though for its originality. I was expecting a fender/gibson guitar with an amp like fender or something. So in that category I feel that the US won slightly. I do love the classic sound of the marshall though. personally I would have the marshall amp and like a fender strat as a standard set up.
please do another video lige this!! :)
Have they reviewed Dracarys by Wampler? Great pedal through Fender hot rod deville. Love these videos. Eventide h9 max loves the front of a fender amp. I'm from America and dying to try a Victory
9:34 video goes terribly down hill
+sam pope I'm literally watching them talk about it with a couple beautiful PRS custom 24's behind them and they go music man, ha ha. Not Gibson, not Fender, Not TA, but music man.
+RoberttheTriviaGuy music man is easily on the same level as any of those other makes.
You could tell though that rabea really wasent feeling it and obviously had to adjust to the neck difference. Great guitars but in the hands of someone unfamiliar?
+sam pope eddie van halen played a Music man.....nothing wrong with that.
+sam pope would have been sick if it was mesa v marshall .. and esp v chapman
The brits invented metal the americans made it better and the sweds perfected it.
Amen
Harry Emmott however I will say that overall the brits have made a much bigger impact on rock and roll. That being said however southern blues did seem to influence the majority of the great british players. Americans did mostly come from english lineage but alot of the blues players were/are african american so the question gets even more complicated.
I'd say the dutch have perfected it. But there Swedes are right there at the top.
Rob D Sabbath invented it, Priest gave it speed, Iron Maiden Perfected it, End of Story....
my parents say that not everything on the internet is true. But that's the realist thing I've ever read
That American tone, gorgeous!
Both are the best! Love your vids! #2017squad 😂
