    if you go into detailed and hold menu it will take you to developer setting where you can enable android developer options and there you can change the color of the infotainment

      After you get into the developer menu where do you need to go to be able to change color? I don’t see anything about android in there

    If you plug in the massaging seats from an mdx, will it work in the 2024 tlx?

    Do you think there is an option to disable the small second screen? It's pretty much useless, especially in Car Play.

    • @HondaJon
      @HondaJon  Год назад +3

      I agree. Right now there isn’t. I’m
      Hoping they will make an update that allows you to go full screen.

    Hello. Thanks for your videos.
    Tell me, how did you turn on the car without starting the engine?
    I’m also interested in the question: maybe you know how to change the climate from Faringheit to Celsius?

    • @HondaJon
      @HondaJon  2 месяца назад +1

      Thanks. I just pushed the start button twice without having my foot on the brake.
      Also you can change the temperature setting in in the vehicle settings.

    22’ TLX ASPEC I don’t see auto folding door mirror in door setup. Is something wrong!?

      It doesn’t have that option.

    What does this enable? Can you get to Android system settings here? (using a 2023 RDX)

    • @HondaJon
      @HondaJon  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah it’s on all vehicles. Most of it is for dealer use so I wouldn’t mess with much. But the speaker test for example could come in handy.

    Hello Jon, so I have 2023 tlx advance. In the dev menu I’m able to toggle ANC on and off, but every time I toggle it to off, when I leave the menu it turns on again. Do you know how I can keep the changes, instead of it reverting back. Fyi I’m installing a agge market sub and need to disable the anc for it to work

    • @HondaJon
      @HondaJon  22 дня назад +1

      I believe the only way is you have to unplug it. A lot of people do that in this scenario

    Did you use a red dot pointer on your screen, or is that from a cursor update?

      No that’s the cursor when you enter that mode.

    Hi! How can you turned off the navigation screen while listening to music on Spotify or XM radio when not driving the car?

    • @HondaJon
      @HondaJon  Год назад +1

      What do you mean turn of navigation? You mean the smaller screen on the right?

    • @edwinabuel324
      @edwinabuel324 Год назад +1

      @@HondaJon The whole navigation screen . I'm worried about draining the battery 's life when just listening to music and not driving the car.

    • @HondaJon
      @HondaJon  Год назад +2

      Don’t worry about that. It won’t drain the battery. It has a built in protector for that reason. I have listen to music for almost an hour and no issues at all.

    I have a 2018 accord …loved the information about the filter.😊 my issue is when I’m talking to someone thru my Bluetooth thru the car everyone tells me it sounds really bad. Is this normal?? A lot of background noise

    • @HondaJon
      @HondaJon  Год назад +1

      Thanks. Does it sound staticky they say it some other issue?

    • @kevinturner8359
      @kevinturner8359 Год назад +1

      Sometimes staticky. But most of time it reminds me of the noise you would hear on the freeway around a bunch of cars when the window is down. But my window isn’t down. Or in a crowd of people trying to talk….that what I’m told it sounds like. Very annoying because I like the convenience of being able to drive and talk.

    • @HondaJon
      @HondaJon  Год назад +1

      I would definitely delete the phone on the infotainment system and re add it and see if that helps. In one of my vehicles I have had that issue.

      I actually did a video on that. It was a glitch on certain years. Are you able to fix it?

  • @user-xl8fc9mr6z
    @user-xl8fc9mr6z 5 месяцев назад

    mine says on high temperature with occurrence date 470 degrees F.. is that something to be concerned about, or maybe its just a glitch?

    • @axelvandy2523
      @axelvandy2523 4 месяца назад

      I'm in no way a mechanic but I'm an electrotechnician. Basically I play with all kinds of electronic devices, PLC, CNC, robots and stuff. I'm not sure in car but it surely is a sensor that analysis a temperature and what happens when you either disconnect a sensor or it breaks, the signal received by the module sensor equals to the top of the scale. Let's say the range of the sensor is from -50 F to 500 F, if it gets "open" (wire "cut" one way or another) the computer will read the signal as 500 F. It sounds like there was some glitch that disconnected the sensor for a reason or another.
      TLDR: If it doesn't pop up again or stay on like that, I wouldn't bother with it

      Unfortunately not but a simple scan tool will.
