2 cups cream...whipped. Blend in a can condensed sweet milk, a little vanilla, pint puréed strawberries. Freeze overnight. Homemade ice cream. Delicious. I really enjoy your families adventures. Thank y’all and God Bless.
Wow that’s awesome!!! I’ve been wanting to try this!! I think I will now!! Nice design with the stair step. That’s going to be pretty when it all bushes out!! Thanks for sharing
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures thanks for replying. I am thinking about using and eb/flow watering system on a closed loop. I am just stuck a bit on how to get the water through and under the strawberries without too much effort. I am considering running the water through a 1/2 pvc with holes drilled here and there and have the pump run every hour for 5 minutes. I'll ve filling the watering bucket every few days, but it seems like my best bet. did you en up with any soil burn or other things to be concerned with?
Thank you for sharing not only your projects but your family too.
Definitely my pleasure!!
Awesome job! That will be gorgeous when both gutters are full of strawberry’s ….
I think so too!!! I’m pretty excited about it!
That's one sweet looking greenhouse. Rustic looking is my thing. The gutter project was a nice addition. Happy Homesteading
Thanks! My daughter is pretty happy with it!!

Beautiful greenhouse bud
Thanks brother!
Hello mister McGie, will you please make a video about woodwork basics? It seems like a fundemental skill to have on the farm.
That’s a great idea! I’ll be putting my mind to it!
kinda reminded me of an old story called coyotes strawberry
That must be a VERY old story!!!
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures its only a couple of paragraphs long. im sure its within your reading level lmao
You’re confidence is really above average!😂
You cannot buy strawberries that taste that good in a store. I wish blackberry winter would hang around a little longer
Yes it’s about to be nothing but a pleasant memory!
strawberry i love it🍓
Thanks so much ellah boom!!
What about drainage? The music make me feel inspire and cry.
We put holes in the bottom and small rocks under the soil.
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures you are genius.
Great idea. Did you have to water them by hand or did the gutter system hold enough water in between rains?
We’ve not had to water them yet but the hot season is just starting, so we’ll see!
It's beautiful Micah! How did the rain do? Did it wash the soil out?
We covered the dirt with wood mulch, and it’s been working perfectly!
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures Awesome job! Over the years that will be spectacular!
With strawberries in mind can you grow grapes in your region.? ☺️
Yes we have some. I need to focus on them someday 😅
👍🙏
❤️
How do you keep humidity up when its dry in the greenhouse. I would like to build one
In Tennessee the humidity is always so high, we never think about it!
Which side are the strawberries on, East? Just curious. How did you orient the greenhouse?
Yes definitely on the southeast
how did this project go?
I want to see how yours did before I go through all the effort in case it didnt work.
It’s required extra watering…… and still didn’t perform as well as in-ground applications.
@@McGieHomesteadAdventures thanks for replying.

I think ours just got too dry.
