- This train will be cancelled in December 2014!
German CityNightLine CNL Night Train connects Hamburg, Munich and Berlin each night with Paris, France; I travelled in Deluxe Sleeper Car cabin (Comfortline Schlafwagen Deluxe) which was equipped with an onboard shower; Breakfast was included; Prices in a Deluxe Sleeper cabin start at EUR 139
Looks like you and your friend had a good trip...Nice.. Yes, it is always nice to get the shower in you own cabin. Here in the US my family and I do that for the long haul trips. And yes the American Amtrak is ok....I know just ok.... Thanks
Wenn das Reisen, nicht Rasen, schoen ist, stellt die DB die Fahrten ein!
Deine Videos sind dagegen einfach nur schoen. Danke dafuer!
Love the quiet.
You can tell when the train is running in Germany (trains there run on the right side) and when it is running in France (trains there run on the left side).
Как приятно услышать шум колёс по безстыковому ж\ д пути, молодость ,служба в Г С В Г,
Thank you for making this video...I am sure it was comfortable...but I am amazed with what we call Deluxe in our side of the world as far as trains are concerned....the train is very plain very sterile and I am sure you pay a good price for it.? it looked like a dorm room..plain and boring ...wish they would place more design to the units...Check out the trains in Asian/India/Africa stunning.
Feet Tongue Well, the price for two people in a deluxe sleeper cabin was EUR 278 (USD 365). I am aware of some luxury trains in Asia or Africa. However, you wont be able to spend a single night for EUR 278 as couple in a cabin with a shower
Your comment is the reasom most people today in western Europe fly...instead of taking longhaul-trains..its cheaper and quiker with Easyjet or Ryanair or even BA & LH....the German railways (DB) is planning to scrap this timetable and train..not economical...
Feet Tongue Agreed. The Asian liners are exquisite in design. And the South African Blue Train is another example of "deluxe" in its purest form. However, I do appreciate the shower angle. In close quarters, it's a safe bet to refresh oneself to prevent any embarrassing social contacts! Absent a shower, a bidet serves a purpose equally as well.
doc7austin An ordinary Paris hotel room is about 250euros
+Feet Tongue The local trains, and the trains used by the majority of locals, in most of south/east Asia and Africa are not by any standard luxurious or "deluxe". They are very basic and often very crowded (and not exactly sterile). That's not a slight; that's how they are. The trains you are referring to are used by foreigners and the elites of the country.
Will there be another train connecting Munich to Paris?
Yes, there will be at least one daily TGV train connecting Paris and Munich
Yes it does. I have took a night train from Munich HBF to Paris EST. From 10: 50PM to 10:20AM.
Welcome to Hannover HBF :D
yes, I know! The Postbank building (Unesco World Heritage site) is just West of Hanover Main Station.
The Macrocosm and the Microcosm 🙅♀️
They need dome cars similar to Via Rail's Canadian from Toronto to Vancouver. This would give the passengers a panoramic view of the countryside.
USA and Canada have rail crossings , UK and Europe have low bridges . BANG !
@@robertcroft8241 having worked on the railroad there are trains g

Is this meter gauge?
Rakesh Pandey no, its 1.435 meter gauge; this is the standard gauge in the European Union, USA and China
doc7austin There is another Paris sleeper train (the EN452/453), which runs between Paris and Moscow; the Russian gauge is 1.524 meter and the European one is 1.435 meter; thats why the wheels are changed on this train in Brest, which located right on the border between Poland and Belarus
doc7austin Very interesting. Is there any video for this?
vmax?
200 km/h
@@doc7austin Thanks
WHY CANCELED
SweetGameplays The operating company of this train (CityNightLine) has very old rolling stock, which needs to be replaced; because they wont buy new rolling stock, they are only left with the option to cut existing services and use the not-so-old cars on the existing routes; moreover, CityNightLine is stating to loose money on the Munich/Berlin/Hamburg - Paris route
Ok thanks for information :)
+SweetGameplays The Paris-Moscow train has now been retimed to leave Paris in the evening instead of the morning, so that provides an overnight service to Berlin, and even allows for same-day connections from the UK!
Unfortunately, the running of the Paris-Berlin-Moscow has been temporarily suspended by Russian Railways; Due to the ruble decline or economic problems in Russia, the fate of this train is very uncertain
Didn't see very much of the fucking sleeper car, eh? Tricked again. Damn.
+Jeff Henderson What else what you would like to see?
Amsterdam
Airplanes fly at 900 kph.
With sleep coaches?
@@pega17pl Yes... But a lot more expensive
Why not just fly?
jarkoffi Flying shorthaul is stressful; taking a night train with a nice private sleeper compartment is joy!
+jarkoffi One word: BORING!
so true!!
