- With a torch and an air hammer/chisel you can remove the worst suspension bolts. Just follow these instructions and it works every time.
Hope this helps you all out with trying to remove these horribly seized bolts.

Don't underestimate the power of the torch! I use mine at least once a day up here in rust country!
we use the torch as our main weapon of choice.
Appreciate the good trick, especially from someone who has your experience!
Thank you so much for the help...my son and i were at the end of our trick box and i said well..lets get some rum and youtube it...we did exactly as you instructed and it came out on 2nd heating...thank you thank you
Glad I could help
Great info! What is the air chisel you like best?
I'll give it a try and see how it works the way you showed.
Get a good and quick heat on them, if you heat it up slow, you'll just melt all the rubber instead.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. (P.S. Be careful under that flaky air jack!)
yah it has been doing that since 1989, I rebuild it each year but it still leaks. I bought a new one and it is worse so I keep this one going.
If this is a cheap repair then ok. But if the bolt comes out new bushings should be put in. If the bolt is bad the bushing isn’t far behind.
Will this work with a plumers torch from plumers store? I been having problem pulling leafs for my truck from junkyard
I don't think it gets hot enough fast enough, however I have not tried it. the trick is to not get it so hot that everything (rubber) starts melting
Are we really gonna ignore the fact that this dude almost put himself in a wheelchair for life with the lift?
Safety catch
Ah yes...the mediation team of Oxygen & Acetylene, always a winning team.
Another trick if stuck u can pull the bolt out , by adding large washes on the nut end, then cut the head off the bolt and draw it out by winding the nut in.. 😊
Maybe you should think about fixing that lift brah. Other than that, your video was very helpful!
Relying only on that jack to hold up that truck without a stand isn't worth the life of a smart guy like you. Jack may have a safety but it still let it drop at least 5 inches and that is enough to at least seriously hurt you.
He likes to live dangerously. And doesn't care about breathing rust dust either i guess. I hate that stuff, when i clean metal i like to spray the area to be cleaned with water in a spray bottle beforehand, drastically cuts down on dust, and have best ventilation i can.
4:34 yes, yes it is
Good ol m1728 shackles lol I think the chevy pickup are a little more challenging due to space tho
yup, this one was a lot easier to film, more area to work in as well
What ear plugs do you use?
I use 3M E-A-Rcaps™ Model 200 hearing protection. Rated for 17 Decibels which is where I actually adjust the volume on most of my videos so you hear what I hear
Good job. I can contact you to buy equipment and machinery to work
