      Chinese Pinyin course is our first Chinese course. But in the other courses, Mr. Zheng Tao is much more natural on camera and he is not starring into your soul anymore.😜

    I like how you mention that there is a difference between in English and in Pinyin, because I know that there is one, yet it seems like many other resources say that there isn't. :/ This clears things up a little bit tho.

    Since Kindergarten to high school I studied in a Chinese school but till this day I can't speak Chinese. Maybe because I'm not that interested. But lately I want to learn Chinese again coz I've been to China last year and I can't understand Chinese people are saying. Except for simple words. What's funny they thought I'm Chinese as well. 😃

    This is my thought. They are in any ways nothing similar to English at all
    First is d. It is midway between d and t. Many sources say d is like unaspirated t, while others say it is like d. I dont know the true nature of d, please help me Mr.
    Litao 😔🤣
    For t, it is aspirated t, which means the strong air burse out your mouth when it is pronounced.
    For g, it is like a normal k
    For k, it is a midway between k and kh (fricative)
    For h, it is kh fricative

      Please watch the Pinyin Lesson 02 and 03 for the instruction and try to feel the difference in the examples of words which you also can find in the videos. It's easier to tell the difference in the syllables. If you need more learning support, please consider purchasing the full Chinese course at our site. Once you purchase a course, you can access to the course anytime, anywhere and your course-related questions will be answered promptly by us.

      It is actualy more of a 'P' for 'B'. Which is why baba sounds like 'papa'. The 'P' in chinese is pronounced 'Ph'. And for 'h', it remains the same 'huh'. K is 'Kh' and g is ' half k and half g', thats why the example is bag.

    the words starting with letter h, do they have a sound similar to that of hat, or that of kh in khan bcoz the words sound as if there is an additional k sound in the beginning

    • @Whimswirl
      @Whimswirl 6 лет назад +1

      qaf lover it's in between the English h and the Arabic kh/خ sound. Hard h, soft kh.

    • @keegster7167
      @keegster7167 6 лет назад

      it's just like Arabic kh but less tense and so it allows more airflow through.
