- In this video, I head up to the north of Scotland to visit Tom & Luke Stoltman, where they take me through a full strongman-style training session in order to help me prep for my upcoming competition.
As well as training, I spend some time with Luke the next morning where he talks me through his own experience with mental health and he manages it.

Genuinely think this is one of the best videos you have ever done Fergus. Really interesting to see you out of your comfort zone and the different skills needed for strongman. But then its topped with the brilliant mental health discussion with Luke at the end which really resonated with me. Brilliant.

Wow well done on 140kg stone.. but the ending hit me hard, as a 120kg man hearing Luke talk like that was very inspirational.
I couldn't help but shake my fist when you lifted 140kg. With men's mental health being an under reported problem it was great listening to an honest no bull conversation.

Simply inspirational mate. I've enjoyed a lot of your vids based on physicality and helping me pursue my own fitness ambitions, but this takes it to the next level. Like so many, I have also struggled with balancing my mental problems with the physical and getting this balance sometimes doesn’t work. I truly applaude you dude in everything your doing on your channel and encourage others to adopt and embrace this as something to incorporate in their lives

Your technique on the Atlas Sones is actually really good. Most of the time, people just try to bicep curl it and do not fully extend

Interesting watching you press and talk about your press. I find my strict press is just horrific and it feels like it does not improve. My strict press is 60kg, but I can push press 100kg and split jerk 130kg, which just seems odd to me.
I'm exactly the same, legs only. Pure shoulder strength lacking
